Dadima's cousin, Sheela, was a nice woman but her grand daughters, Nisha and Nita, were very high headed girls. Nisha liked Maan and wanted to marry him but Nimisha came in between. Maan never gave heed to her. She came today to see who has married Maan as she was aware that Maan broke up with Nimisha.

Everyone gathered at the dining table. Mishti was serving everyone. Sheela liked Mishti's nature, "Savitri tumhari bahu to bahut pyaari hai". Dadima was happy, "Ha Sheela jarur humne pichhle janam me kuch punya kiya tha jo Mishti jaisi bahu mili hume". But there was someone who was burning listening to all this.

And that was none other than Nisha. Nisha knew that Maan couldn't see now but she couldn't digest the fact that some other girl had taken her place. Moreover, Mishti's appearance, her expensive saree and her heavy gold and diamond jewellery, was taking a toll on her. The shining of the splendid jewellery seemed like a thorn to her eyes. Nisha spoke up, "Aaj ka weather bahut achha hai, Mishti hum lunch ke baad bahar garden me baithkar coffee ka mazaa lege". Mishti nodded in yes. Dadima and Sheela denied as both wanted to rest. So after the lunch everyone moved to their respective rooms, Sheela with Dadima, and all the three girls, Mishti, Nisha and Nita, to the garden. Mishti told Nakul to bring coffee for them.

Trio were sitting in the garden, Nisha found it the best moment to insult Mishti as no one was there except Nita, who is similar like her. Nisha spoke up sarcastically, "To Mishti kaisa lag raha hai tumhe Maan ki wife ban kar?". Mishti looked at her, she found her tone weird, "Ji...mai samajhi nahi...", Nisha gave a taunting smile and retorted, "Kamaal ki baat hai na jo yaha par sabse samajhdar hai wahi meri baat nahi samajhi...". Mishti looked at her not getting what she was trying to say. Nisha continued, "Isme samajhne ki koi baat hi nahi hai...And to be more precise, Tumhare jaisi chaalak ladki mene aaj tak nahi dekhi. Waise tumne ye sab kiya kaise...". Mishti looked at her disbelievingly, few moments before she was talking and acting so nicely and now this. Nita too looked at Mishti with contempt. Nisha continued, "Tumne Maan ke accident ka bahut achha fayda uthaya hai, socha Maan to ab andha ho gaya hai to uski daulat ko hadapne ka isse achha mauka nahi milega", Mishti interrupted, "Aap jaisa soch rahi hai waisa kuch nahi hai...". Nisha again spoke up, she was burning in jealousy, "Achha aisa kuch nahi hai to fir kaisa hai Mishti...I know very well what is in your mind, tumne socha Maan to andha hai use kuch dikhai nahi deta chup chap ek kone me pada rahege or Dadima wo itni budhi ho chuki hai, bechaari kuch hi dino ki mehmaan hai or fir sab kuch tumhara or...". Mishti cut her short, "Bas...bahut bol chuki hai aap...". Mishti was enraged, she couldn't take a word against Dadima and here she was talking about her death so casually and also she didn't like the way she was talking about Maan. Mishti continued, "Aap meri baat chhodiye, chahe mai jaisi bhi hu aapki tarah badtameez nahi hu. Or chahe mujhe kuch bhi aata ho, kya aapke gharwalo ne aapko yehi sikhaya hai...". Maan's raging voice stopped Mishti. Even Dadima and Sheela too came in the garden hearing Maan's shout. Nisha guessed that Maan had just heard Mishti's talk and now she had to act smart to get the ball in her court. She started crying and ran to Sheela and hugged her. Sheela got worried and asked Nita what was the matter. Mishti was just praying to God that at least she wouldn't be like her sister and would speak the truth. But all in vain. Nita uttered, "Dadima ye Mishti di ki insult kar rahi thi or jab di kuch kehne lagi to ye boli Mom Dad ne or aapne hume badtameezi karna sikhaya hai". Sheela looked at Dadima in dismay, "Savitri lagta hai tumhari bahu bade ghar me aakar sab tameez tehzeeb bhul gayi hai...". And trio rushed from there to their house. Maan was very angry and Dadima was not getting why Mishti spoke like this, one thing she was very much sure that Mishti didn't do this intentionally, there was something that they have missed. She decided to talk to Mishti in alone. Mishti was very scared, she knew of Maan's anger and she also knew that he would not ask her the matter and straight away would scold her. Maan blasted, "Who the hell are you to talk to our guests like this...Don't you have any manners...Aaj tumhari wajah se Dadima ko sunna pada...Don't you dare come to my room and one more thing if you ever do this again you will be thrown out of the house...". And Maan moved to his room with the help of one of the servants. Tears rolled down from Mishti's eyes. She didn't knew that he would say this much, today she felt very bad. But today she realized one thing that she was nothing to Maan and this house and he would never trust her. Although she didn't have any expectations from Maan and there was nothing of husband and wife between them, neither from her side, nor from his side, but still she care for him and respect him. She had thought that at least he would ask her the matter as he had started speaking to her nicely but she realized that though he had started speaking to her but she meant nothing to him, so there was nothing of giving an explanation now and defending herself as he had already given the designation of culprit to her. Dadima too felt very bad seeing her, she came to her and caressed her head, "Beta Maan ki taraf se hum aapse maafi maangte hai...". Mishti immediately said, "Nahi Dadima please aap maafi mat maangiye...galti meri thi mujhe unse aisi baat nahi karni chahiye thi, mujhe maaf kar dijiye Dadima". Dadima replied, "Nahi beta aapko maafi maangne ki jarurat nahi hai...hum jaante hai aap kisi se aise baat nahi kar sakti...jarur Maan ko hi koi misunderstanding hui hogi, hum unse baat karege...". Mishti uttered, "Nahi Dadima aap unse kuch mat kahiyega...". Dadima looked at her, there was something deep in her eyes. Her eyes showed hurt and pain and she was very much sure that there was something amiss. Mishti went from there and so as Dadima.
