ome September 17 and Zee's Saat Phere will complete 500 episodes on air. The popular soap that traces the journey of a dusky girl Saloni and the problems she faces owing to her complexion, is amongst the top five programmes of the channel. It's another matter that the socially-relevant topic is now on the backburner and the serial has settled into a regular family drama. Yet, it has managed to keep the viewers glued to it,which is a big achievment for producer Sanjay Wadhwa who is planning a special episode on D-day. Though nothing has been finalised yet, we have learnt that there will be performances by the lead characters of the serial Nahar, Saloni, Brijesh and Tara. Another option that is being worked upon is to shoot a completely different story for the landmark episode. |
