Episode 13: Heartbreaker
On a beautiful morning at Dhingra High School, Luv was standing in the hallway near the chimp cage. "Man! What am I gonna do?!" Luv exclaimed. "I know the face behind that Randy boy! And if I don't say anything, Disha's gonna deal with this two timer forever and ever!" As Luv opened the door of the chimp cage, young boys were sitting inside as if they were waiting for him. "Yes! The prince of all monkeys has come!" one of the boys exclaimed.
"Hi chimps!" Luv greeted as he entered inside while all the boys came around Luv, hugging him. "Yeah I know! You all love me!"
"How is your dad, oh great one?!" another boy asked.
"Good," Luv replied. He then sighed for a moment. "Actually...can I ask all of you something?"
"Yes, great prince! You can tell us anything!" another one of the boys exclaimed.
"Okay," Luv began. "Well...there's this friend of mine. Actually...I don't even think we're friends. But I know her! And recently, she's been head over heels in love with this boy! What she doesn't know is...the boy is cheating on her. And I saw it at a cafe after school. My problem is...should I tell her about it or not? If I don't tell her, she'll blindly trust this guy while he continues to cheat on her. And if I tell her, she'll be completely heartbroken. So...I'm stuck."
The group of boys looked at each other, trying to understand everything while Luv looked at them, curious. Then one of the boys came up to Luv and said, "We think you should go and tell her."
"Really?" Luv asked, surprised.
"Yes!" another boy replied. "Yes, she will be hurt. But life goes on anyway. So she should be strong enough to move on."
"And she'll have people who will help her." another boy said.
Luv looked at all the boys with an unsure look on his face. But then he smiled. "Thanks, guys!" Luv told the boys. The boys smiled and then all went towards Luv, giving him a group hug.
After leaving the chimp cage, Luv walked down the hall by himself. "Okay. So I'll have to tell Disha about this today itself then." Luv said as he walked. As Luv kept walking, he accidentally bumped into Riddhi. As Riddhi fell, she ended up right in Luv's arms. Riddhi looked up at Luv as he looked down at her into her eyes as the two were lost in the moment. Riddhi then moved away, composing herself as she then looked at Luv. "Perfect timing. I bump into Arrowhead." Luv rolled his eyes.
"Excuse me?!"
"You have this habit of bumping into everyone or am I just special?!"
"Shut up, Monkey Boy!"
"Whatever. Anyways, I might as well tell you this first."
"Tell me what?"
"Its about Disha."
"You have a crush on her?"
"Eww no!"
"Then what?"
"Its about her and Randy."
"Didn't we already talk about?! She's happy with him! Let them be!"
"But I have something you should know!"
"And what is that?"
"Well...I...um...you see...okay fine! Randy's cheating on Disha!"
"WHAT?!"
Riddhi looked on at Luv in shock, not knowing what exactly to say.
"How do you know?!"
"I saw it with my own eyes!"
"Where?"
"I went to a cafe yesterday to get some coffee and there I see Randy holding hands with some Barbie chick! And you know what he called her?! His little Gulab Jamun!"
"What a two timer!"
"That's what I said!"
"Have you told Disha yet?"
"No. I was going to. Then I bumped into you so I thought I might as well tell someone."
"Poor Disha. She'll be heartbroken."
"So I shouldn't tell her?"
"No! You have to! Let's go tell Nikki and Adi first!"
"WHAT?!" Nikkita and Aditya exclaimed in unison. Just ten minutes later, Riddhi and Luv had found Nikkita and Aditya in the library. And right there, they told the two everything.
"My same reaction as well!" Riddhi said.
"You're sure about this?" Aditya asked.
"Yes! I saw it with my own two eyes!" Luv exclaimed.
"And how do we know we can trust you?" Nikkita questioned Luv, eyeing him as she raised her eyebrows.
"I may be a troublemaker, but I don't lie!" Luv responded.
Nikkita and Aditya looked at each other, and then sighed. "I can't believe it," Aditya said. "How could the guy stoop so low?"
"I just can't believe someone would have the nerve to cheat on her!" Nikkita exclaimed. "She's not gonna like this!"
"Well we have to go and tell her now." Riddhi said.
"Um...are you sure you want to?" Nikkita asked.
"What's the problem?" Luv questioned.
"Disha doesn't take things like this very well." Nikkita replied.
"Well we have to tell her anyhow!" Riddhi exclaimed.
"Besides, how bad can it be?" Luv asked.
"HOW DARE YOU LIE ABOUT MY BOYFRIEND LIKE THAT!" Disha shouted as she shook Luv, yanking at him by the collar of his shirt. The gang had found Disha near the cafeteria during lunch time and it was Luv who told her everything. And as Nikkita predicted, Disha didn't take it too well.
"Dude, someone make her let me go!" Luv cried as Disha continued to yank onto Luv's collar.
"Disha, let him go!" Riddhi told Disha.
"NO! I'M GONNA BREAK YOUR HEAD RIGHT NOW, MONKEY BOY!" Disha shouted right at Luv's face.
"Dish! Fish!" Aditya said as he threw some Swedish Fish for Disha to catch.
"SCREW YOUR SWEDISH FISH!" Disha shouted as she smacked the Swedish Fish to the floor and grabbed a tighter grasp on Luv's collar. "I'M GONNA KILL YOU NOW!"
"Its official! She's completely lost it!" Nikkita exclaimed.
As Disha grabbed hold on Luv's collar, Aditya and NIkkita tried to pull Disha back and finally got hold of her down while Luv fell back and Riddhi caught him. Disha freed herself from Nikkita and Aditya's grasp, scaring the two.
"Okay, Disha. Just calm down." Aditya told Disha.
"You mean to tell me you three believe this idiot?!" Disha asked.
"Hey!" Luv exclaimed.
"Disha, why would Luv bother lying to you about Randy?" Riddhi questioned Disha.
"Because he doesn't want to see me happy, that's why!" Disha exclaimed. "And if you don't have any proof, why should I believe you?! My Randy is the sweetest guy around who loves me because I am his Gulab Jamun!"
"Its still eww." Luv whispered to Riddhi.
"WHAT'D YOU SAY, MONKEY BOY?!" Disha yelled.
"Nothing." Luv replied in a scared tone.
"Whatever! I'm going now! I have to meet Randy before class." Disha said as she then grabbed her black satchel and walked off.
"Well that went well." Nikkita said, rolling her eyes.
"Oh shut up!" Luv exclaimed. "You could've warned me that she might possibly strangle me to death!"
"Well what are we going to do now?" Riddhi asked. "Disha will never believe us unless we prove to her that Randy is a cheater."
"Luv, where did you say you saw him with the girl again?" Aditya asked Luv.
"At that coffee cafe down the street. You know "Mama's Chai"." Luv replied.
"You got an idea?" Riddhi asked Luv.
"Yes...I do." Aditya answered.
After school that same day, Riddhi, Luv, Aditya, and Nikkita went off to "Mama's Chai" where they all sat at a table in the corner of the cafe. "Did Disha reply to your text yet?" Aditya asked Riddhi.
"Yeah. She said she can't hang out tonight because she's going with Randy to see the new Avengers movie in the St. Rosa Theatre." Riddhi said.
"Good." Aditya said.
"I don't see the point of this. How are we sure that girl is gonna come to meet Randy here again?" Nikkita asked.
"One thing about a cheater. A cheater always make sures they meet with the other person at a specific place that the other one wouldn't know about...so they can separate contact between the two girls." Aditya explained.
"Man, he's right!" Luv exclaimed.
The gang looked ahead to see the same girl Luv saw the other day, dressed in a blue mini dress and blue pumps. As she sat down at a table, Randy came in as well, sitting down with her. "What did you bring for me today?" the girl asked Randy.
Randy then took out a box of what appeared to be rasgullas inside and gave it to the girl. "Oh my gosh! Rasgullas! I love rasgulla!" the girl smiled. "You really do love me, don't you?!"
"Of course I do!" Randy smiled as he then kissed the girl's hand. "Anyways, listen. I have to actually go now. I have a project to do for my science class that's due tomorrow."
"Oh okay." the girl replied.
"I'm sorry. But don't worry! We'll go out for dinner tomorrow like I said we would!" Randy assured.
Randy then got up from the table and left the cafe. The gang then noticed the girl was about to leave. They then immediately rushed over to her and said, "Hi there!"
"Do I know you people?" the girl asked.
"No. But we need to talk to you!" Nikkita exclaimed.
"What's your name?" Riddhi asked the girl.
"Pinky." the girl said.
"Pinky!" Aditya said. "Listen Pinky. There's something we need to let you know."
Later that day, at the St, Rosa Theatre, Disha was with Randy, watching the new Avengers movie, Age of Ultron. The two sat down among the large audience, feeding each other popcorn in a loving manner as they watched the movie. And then the drama came in.
"Hey! Hey!" Luv exclaimed as he barged into the theatre while the audience got up in a frustrated mood as the lights turned on inside.
"Who's this idiot?!" Randy asked.
"I am going to do such illegal things to him!" Disha said, angry.
Riddhi, Aditya, and NIkkita followed Luv inside the theatre as they all came in. An usher then came in and said, "What are you doing?! You're interrupting the movie!" the usher shouted at Luv.
"Hello! We have imporant business to settle here!" Luv exclaimed.
"Why are you guys bothering me and Randy?!" Disha questioned the others as she got up along with Randy, going up to them.
"These are your friends?" Randy asked, disgusted.
"All of them...except Luv!" Disha replied.
"Hey!" Luv exclaimed.
"Disha, you don't understand! Randy here is a cheater!" Riddhi exclaimed.
"Oh God! Not this again!" Disha rolled her eyes.
"Why would I cheat on Disha?! She's my Gulab Jamun!" Randy exclaimed.
"Oh really?!" Nikkita asked. "We have a little friend who also goes by that nickname!"
Just then, Pinky entered down into the theatre much to Randy's surprise.
"Pinky?!" Randy exclaimed.
"What?! Who is she?!" Disha asked Randy.
"I was his girlfriend. You guys were right!" Pinky said.
Disha turned to Randy with an angry look on her face. "Listen, Disha! I can explain!" Randy exclaimed.
"Forget explaining! Its good I came to the right movie! Because I will go all avenger on you right now!" Disha shouted at Randy as she rolled up the sleeves of her black leather jacket. And that was when she jumped at Randy and began beating the pulp out of him while everyone else in the theatre watched. "Now isn't this better than the movie?!" Nikkita asked the others in the theatre.
The rest of the audience cheered as they watched Disha continued to beat Randy up while he cried like a little baby. "So...anyone up for a smoothie after this?" Pinky asked the gang.
"Yes please!" Nikkita replied as she then grabbed Disha's leftover popcorn and started eating it as she and the others continued to watch the fight.
In the food court of the theatre, the gang sat with Pinky as Pinky had treated them all to smoothies. After Pinky left, the rest of the gang stayed back and were enjoying themselves after the fun fight Disha had. "Wow, Disha! I can't believe you gave that guy a wedgie!" Nikkita laughed.
"And that guy wears briefs! Loser!" Disha exclaimed.
"You're lucky we saved you from that guy." Aditya said.
"But in all honesty...all the credit goes to Luv." Riddhi said.
"Me?! Really?!" Luv asked.
"Yeah. Luv didn't have to say anything about this. But he did." Riddhi told Disha.
"You're right," Disha agreed. She then turned to Luv. "You know, Luv. I admit you're a monkey! But you're not all that bad."
"We cool?" Disha asked as she extended her fist to Luv. Luv smiled and then fist bumped Disha, saying, "We cool!"
The others then looked on happily. "One thing's for sure, Disha. That guy wasn't worth it," Riddhi told Disha. "I'm sure somewhere out there...there is someone special for you. You just have to wait."
"Yeah! We'll see." Disha said as she then sipped from her smoothie with a smile on her face.
