Rahul Garewal is trying to get dirt on Target Number One. Hotshot prosecutor Rahul is knee-deep in an investigation of his own, targeting the same dirty senator. He tried to get a warrant but he's turned down by his supervisor. Rahul's boss is not happy that he's gotten an arrest warrant for the man, he wants to see more evidence before arresting him.
But Rahul being adamant goes before the media and vows to hold Preet responsible while Reyansh sees Rahul on TV and the news related to Target Number One. Reyansh pieces everything together as he realizes that Rahul is a prosecutor and his reasons for wanting to talk with the woman that night. He smiles, a little impressed at his moxy.
Later that night...
Senator's House...
Both boys head to the senator's house, but their means of entry says a lot about them, as people. Rahul goes in the front door to confront him with the investigation, while Reyansh scales a wall, makes friends with the guard dogs (via whistle), and slips in the back door. The first thing that Reyansh does as soon as he enters Singh' premises is set something in Singh's electric box as he proceeds to listen to the conversation between Garewal and Singh.
"You're quite tenacious, Prosecutor Rahul Garewal, for you to come all the way to my house. He's my friend, but I am jealous of Director Abhimanyu Garewal, for having a son like you," Preet Singh tells Rahul as they both sit in his living room having a conversation while Reyansh stands behind the big glass window of this room listening to the conversation. "You ignored our inquiry summons, so I came here in person to ask you some questions," Rahul tells him straight away not buying his crap.
"I don't think there's a legal obligation to comply with such a rude visit. Do you.. know that? That you're actually bothering me right now? That's a big mistake. Me? For the sole benefit of this nation and its people..." Preet says arrogantly while Rahul smirks at his behavior not surprised.
"And those ignorant ones who have no clue what fundamentals and democracy is but go and throw havoc just to clench power once. Just to block them, if nothing else, I, along with my party shall remain prosperous," Preet continues on while Reyansh pulls his I-phone 6 out and plugs a chip in and set it to record as he puts the phone by the window.
"So why are you shaking me up right now?" Preet accuses him. "No matter how good the purpose is, if the method is wrong... then isn't it all wrong?" Rahul counter back calmly. "The instant I step down; the democracy in India is dead. DEAD!" Preet exclaims getting rile up by Rahul's accusation. "How much did you get from the Singh Constructions?" Rahul asks his next question calmly again. "We seized their ledger books, but the dates on the notes don't match and records are missing," Rahul tells his like a classic detective by-the-book.
"Heavens! Look here. You are acting too extreme. You don't want to be Attorney General? Do you want to be fired? I think it is going to be harder for you to be a lawyer with that personality," Preet warns him showing his power and his reach. While Reyansh finds a notebook that contains all the names, dates and exact amounts in bribery funds.
"Your father and I have been friends for 40 years," Preet reminds him of their friendship. "For someone like you to claim that you're my father's friend... is actually embarrassing," Rahul tells him rudely. "WHAT! You think your father's any different?" Preet counter backs as Reyansh goes over that notebook as he listens to the conversation.
Just then his Reyansh's phone rings, Preet and Rahul looks around. Preets gets up and starts walking towards the window. "Who are you?" Preet ask pointing at Reyansh but he could only see half of his face. Reyansh just then press a button that cuts the power out as he swiftly goes out of the whole house and scales the wall again and drives away.😎
On the other hand...
At Taani's place...
In her modest home, Taani hangs up her suit, clearly her one and only, bought for her new job. She picks up a family portrait and tells her Dad that she wanted to become a secret service agent who protected the President, just like him. "I'll happen someday, right?" She pats herself on the head, like her Dad would, and gives herself a word of encouragement. She looks up at the clocks, which shows 10:30 pm, she wonders if Reyansh will call her tonight for driving.
Reyansh's Place...
Reyansh walks in his study with Preet's notebook in hand. Sitting down, he goes throw the notebook. It has all kinds of names, dates and amount. One name and location sticks out to him. "Arnav Gupta? Sunshine Community Center? $10,000" he reads out loud.
Next Day...
On her first day on First Daughter detail, Taani makes the mistake of body slamming a classmate who comes to retrieve his notes, like he's about to knife her. Whoops. Hellbeast throws a fit, screaming that her DAD is the President, not her.
She decides to retaliate by going clubbing, and hands the agents their outfits for the night. The girls check their bags which had beautiful dresses. Dia informs them cheerfully, "I'm going to a club right now. You know you can't wear that there. Please try not to make it obvious.. and let's go work after hours." So they head to the club with no other option left.
The club...
Dia is dancing her heart away on the fast beats while Taani and Roshni sit on a small table keeping an eye on her. Well Taani is sitting, Roshni is slightly swinging with the music. "Ahh.. so noisy! What is this?" Taani complained, "I think a library would be better!" she adds.
"That place would be worse because you'll become so sleepy! At least this place isn't boring!" Roshni tells her cheerfully. "You were complaining about being a guard for a president's daughter, but now you seem excited!" Taani tells her cheerfully. Roshni smiles at her.
"I have to go to the bathroom," Taani tells her as she gets up. "Watch her closely. It looks like she's the the type to just run off," Taani warns her as Dia looks at them. She nods.
On the other hand...
In the same club...
It happens to be the same club where Reyansh is making time with the senator's girlfriend. "You're going today too right? To the hotel..." the girl ask him as she runs a finger down his chest. "It seems like you're not meeting that old man these days," Reyansh says smiling as he removes her finger. "We broke up. I mean he changed his phone number and everything. I can't even get in contact with him," the girl tells him smiling as if that is a good thing. "What? Broke up?" Reyansh ask as his smile vanishes. She nods.
He sighs. "Why? You told me to clean things up with my sponsor," she tells him smiling not getting why he is acting like this. "I did. But it seems like guys no longer like you that much, so I just lost my appetite," Reyansh tells her rudely. "What?" the girl asks confused or more like shocked. "Let's break up too," Reyansh says as he pulls his arm from around her and gets up. She huffs and follows him.
"I know this kind of make-up is a trend, but I can't put on heavy makeup like this," Taani talks to herself as she looks at her reflection on a glass window. She turns and was walking to her way when she sees Reyansh and that girl following behind him accusing him of playing with her.
Taani comes to a stop in front of them confused at the scene folding in front of her eyes. "Did you just play around with me?! Say something you jerk!" the girl keeps on shrieking behind him. She pulls Reyansh's shoulder asking him. Reyansh turns his attention to Taani and exclaims at her, "Why did you come just now? I've been waiting for you!"
Taani points a finger at herself questioning if he is asking her. She turns around to see behind her. Just then Reyansh puts a hand around her neck and pulls her face close to him.
