Usually care the most!!

"Tumhaari Maan se baat hui?" Aadi inquired as both Shasha and he headed to meet Maan.

"Nahi ... I had to attend a video conference regarding the London project so didn't get a chance to speak to him." Shasha replied as they knocked the door of Maan's cabin.

Geet had just left his cabin ... She had recovered from her panic and was now feeling much better. A faint smile adorned Maan's lips as he remembered how lovely she looked in the lavender outfit that he had gifted her!

She had freshened up in his washroom, ... her fragrance still lingering in there!

Though Maan was puzzled by her strange behaviour of not wanting to close the washroom door but he didn't probe much seeing her earlier panic stricken state. All the while he stood outside the washroom witnessing her every move ... Her splashing water on her face ... every splash not only cleaning but also enhancing her gorgeous face ... She looked heavenly even without a trace of make up ... just a faint red hue complimenting her natural beauty!

Only before changing did she close the door but didn't lock it!

It was too much of a temptation for Maan ... knowing that Geet is changing on the other side of the door ... Just one click of the door and she will be his but ...

{Seems Babaji wanted to try every shred of his patience!!!}

Thankfully Geet relieved him of this torture soon as she emerged out of the washroom soon!

Geet looked so pure just like an angel!! ... While the devil in Maan had adulterated him with lust!!!

Maan had been furious witnessing Rahul continuously ogling at Geet during the meeting. Infact he wasn't even interested in what was being discussed in the meeting. His sole attention at that time was fixed on Geet! ... Maan had immediately messaged one of his designer friends to send a simple and decent outfit to his office at the earliest. Though he didn't have any idea about her size but he did specify few details.

to his knowledge!

{So now the shrewd businessman Mr Maan Singh Khurana rather than focusing on his multicrore project ... was busy forwarding and discussing the details of a dress for his secretary}

Maan was busy scolding Geet when Pinky had called to inform of a parcel having arrived for him. Leaving Geet in there and not wanting anybody else to see her in this outfit Maan locked the washroom door and moved towards the reception . He hadn't expected that in a matter of few minutes of him going and collecting the parcel Geet would panic so much!

But finally all was well and now Maan was at peace witnessing Geet back to her usual simple traditional look!

"Whaaattt ..." Maan yelled aghast as Shasha narrated to both Aadi n Maan, what exactly had transpired earlier in the day, in what condition had she found Geet and how she had helped Geet out of that locked washroom.

"Just what the hell is happening in my office? ... From the day I'm back here all I get to see and hear is the reckless behaviour of my staff ... If they can't do their work than why the hell am I paying them!"

"Maan ... just calm down cos we need to first get to the root of the matter ... wether it was really their negligence or ..." Aadi raised his doubt.

"Its sheer negligence on their part Aadi! ... There is no doubt about it! ... Just imagine what if Shasha hadn't gone to check that washroom ... Aur aaj agar Geet ko kuch ho jaata toh ... " Maan was enraged.

"Maan relax ... Geet ko kuch nahi hua hain ... woh theek hain! ... And I have already called the respective agency owners for a meeting ... Don't worry ... I'll handle it all" Shasha assured him.

"Oh! So Shasha you feel I should wait for something to happen right? ... There is no room for anymore discussions! ... I just want you to cancel all their contracts ... with immediate effect!" Maan ordered and left the cabin at once.

"Maan is overeacting ... Itni bhi badi baat nahi hain!" Shasha huffed.

"Shasha you very well know ... Geet is our responsibility! ... Maan has promised Mohinder Uncle ... But what surprises me is that you are very calm ... as if this incident really doesn't matter to you?" Aadi probed in.

"Aadi ... I've had enough for the day and before u accuse me for this whole incident just get your facts corrected or gather some proofs of my involvement in this entire episode."

"But Shasha I didn't even mention anything regarding your involvement ... forget accusing you. " Aadi tried to study her reaction.

"Aadi lets not play these games ... I very well know where you are heading ... so don't even try. " Shasha calmly bit out.

"Also Aadi if I want something ... I'll make sure that I have it my way ... And who knows it better than you!" Shasha challenged him.

"Shasha ... Geet is innocent ... Just spare her" Aadi urged.

"Do u think that I wanna harm Geet?" Shasha questioned him, her face blank and unreadable as always.

"Shasha I just know one thing for sure and that is you are definitely up to something! ... And I will find it out soon!" Aadi countered back and left the cabin.

'Careful Shasha careful ... Aadi is on an alert mode ... plus Maan ... he just surprized me today ... Damn! you are so gone...so gone...' Shasha mumbled to herself.

Geet was lost in her own world on her way to the cafeteria.

So many conflicting feelings were running in her mind at this point of time ... One side her guilt to have angered Maan ... her fear that had surfaced out ... again! ... Also the constant warnings from her colleagues that one more mistake and she would be out of KC forever was taking a toll on her.

While on the other side ... yesterdays night out with Channi di and Soni ... their discussions and their weird logics were confusing her all the more!

A constant strange feeling that baffles her whenever Maan sir is around her ... when he touches her ... when he shouts at her ... hurts her ... strangely she likes it! ... The feeling of security that Maan's presence pumps in her ... The warmth of Maan sir's concern and care ... The joy of receiving the first gift from Her Maan Sir ... And the fact that Maan sir being close to her makes her happy!

These contradicting feelings were puzzling her naive mind!

Trying hard to divert herself of these musings Geet had thought to prepare coffee for Maan sir, he had been stressed the whole day and the major reason for his unease was all thanks to her carelessness and her dumb behaviour!

"Soni aur Channi di kuch bhi bolte hain ... aisa real life mein nahi hota! ... Babaji dekha ... aaj maine phir se sab gadbad kar di!"

[Channi di n Soni talk anything ... nothing of this sort happens in real life ... Babaji ... again I goofed up everything!]

"Maan Sir ko woh choti dress bilkul pasand nahi aayi... kitna gussa ho gaye woh ... lekin phir bhi meri liye ek nayi dress laaye ... Papaji, Rajji aur Tito ke alawa aaj tak kisi ne mujhe koi gift nahi diya!"

[Maan sir didn't like that skimpy dress at all ... He was so angry ...Even then he got me a new dress ... till date nobody except Papaji, Rajji and Tito have gifted me something]

"Sir ne aaj mujhe pehli gift di!!! ... Ab acche se coffee bana kar main Maan sir ko sorry aur thank-you bol doongi ... hain na!"

[This is the first gift that Maan sir has gifted me ... I'll prepare his coffee and will apologize as well as thank him]

Still drifted in her thoughts Geet failed to notice ...

The reality of the entire washroom incident that Shasha had narrated to him had totally shaken up Maan!

He needed sometime to gather himself ... He just moved out of his cabin and headed to the terrace for some peace.

Everything made sense now! ... The nervousness of Geet in the Conference room ... Her attempts to voice out her side of story to him ... Her terrified state on being locked up in the washroom again ... All the pieces of the puzzle fell into place!

"Geet ke saath itna kuch ho gaya ... aur mujhe pata bhi nahi chala ... Usse sambhalne ke badle ... Main paagalon ki tarah uss par chilla raha tha ... How could I ... just how could I ... I failed to keep my word ... to keep her safe ... Maan Singh Khurana failed!!!" Maan felt ashamed of himself.

[Geet was in trouble ... and I had no clue about her plight ... Instead of comforting her ... I burst out on her! ... How could I ... just how could I ... I failed to keep my word ... to keep her safe ... Maan Singh Khurana failed!!!"]

Shasha's each word describing that incident felt like slaps hurled tight across his face! ... Geet's each tear ... her attempt to clear his misunderstanding ... her earnest plea ... her trembling form ... her innocent confession ... Just flashed in his mind!

It felt as if thousands of needles were pricking him!!

He needed to meet Geet now! ... To see her ... To ensure that she was all fine!

Maan was looking for Geet when a peon informed him that she was in the cafeteria. Finally he found Geet, she was in the kitchen preparing something. Maan just stood at a side gazing at Geet ... With a sense of contentment that she was fine ... safe ... here ... near him!

Maan was thankful that Geet hadn't still sensed his presence here ... probably she was lost in her own thoughts ... but his relief was short lived!

Geet still in her trance ... raised her hand and was about to touch the hot pan placed on the burner. Fearing that Geet would hurt herself again Maan at once rushed to her rescue.

"GEET..."

In an attempt to save Geet he ended up touching the pan ... hurting himself! ... Maan's painful jolted Geet out of her reverie!

"SIR ... yeh ... aap ... phir se ... meri wajah se ..." Tears rolled down her eyes.

"Geet ...I'm fine" Maan tried to calm her.

"Kitna jal gaya hain ... Aap yahan aayiye..." Not paying any heed to Maan's words teary Geet mumbled.

Geet grabbed his wrist and made him sit on the nearby chair and rushed to get the first aid box. Settling beside him she very carefully applied the ointment on his burns. Maan winced a bit the moment the ointment touched his skin but Geet was there to soothe his pain. Gently blowing air on his fingers she eased his pain.

The burning sensation, the pain was all forgotten! ... Maan was all lost in this simple girl's caring gestures!

A loose strand of her hair kept disturbing Geet ... Shoving it away in irritation she again got back to her task of applying the ointment on her Maan sir's hand unaware of the fact that in an attempt to push away her curls she smeared some ointment on her forehead. Maan couldn't help but smile at this girl's innocence and sincerity!

Geet who was done applying the ointment looked up to check on Maan ... She was braced with an unadulterated smile of her boss!

An endearing smile!

"Sir aap smile karte hue bahot acche lagte hain!" Geet unknowingly blurted out.

Geet's statement was enough to bring Maan back to reality! ... Steeling the faint trace of his emotion he erupted.

"Dhyaan kaha rehta hain tumhaara Geet? ...Why is it that everytime its only you who lands up in trouble! ... aaj agar main waqt par nahi aata toh ..."

"I'm sorry sir ... meri wajah se aap ka haath jal gaya ..." Geet earnestly apologized but ...

"Geet ... 'Sorry' is the only word that you are persistently using since the day you have joint this company! ... Instead of learning from your mistakes you keep repeating them ... And what do you think we all have no work except helping you and undoing the damage you cause us and this company!"

"You know what Geet ... Now I seriously feel working with Maan is far fetched thought you are not even ought to work in this Company!" Shasha who had just entered the kitchen rebuked Geet.

Tears brimmed in Geet's eyes hearing Shasha's scornful words. Shasha's sudden appearance and then her outburst on Geet truly stunned Maan. Witnessing Geet's tears he just couldn't control himself and spoke sternly.

"Shasha it was just an accident ... and it wasn't Geet's fault ... You're just overreacting!"

"Maan tum iss ladki ke liye ... mujhse ... apni dost se aisa bol rahe ho ... Tumhe iski galtiyaan nazar hi nahi aati ... Aur aaj toh isne tumhara haath bhi jala diya aur ... abhi bhi tum uss ki side le rahe ho ... I just can't believe it!" Shasha countered back before leaving.

[Maan just for this girl ...you're talking to me ... your friend like this! ... You always ignore her mistakes! ... And today she nearly burnt your hands ... Even then you're still taking her side ... I can't believe it!]

She was clearly hurt by Maan's behaviour. Maan closed his eyes regretting his words that had hurt his friend. He was in a tight spot! ... One side Geet's tears and the other side Shasha's grief!

"Iss Geet ne itna dimaag kharab kar diya hain mera ... ke main sab kuch ulta seedha karne laga hoon!" Feeling irritated he rushed out of the kitchen.

There is never a specific time or place for falling in love!

It happens accidentally ... in a heart beat

... in a single flashing ... throbbing moment!

A moment ago tears were threatening to fall but ... Maan's few words changed it all ... And everything became crystal clear!!!

Geet was all lost in Maan's affirmation in her support! ... So she didn't even pay attention to what exchange of words took place between Maan and Shasha later ... She just wasn't bothered!

The only thing that registered in her innocent mind was that Maan Sir would always be with her!

She needed a hero

And thats what he became for her!!

Maan headed out of the kitchen while Geet stood there numb as ...

Finally realization dawned on her that ... He was the one for her!!!

Maan moved towards the exit while she entered a whole new world! ... As the distance between Maan and the kitchen door decreased she realized how close she had come! ... As he moved away she understood what he meant to her ... His presence calmed her ... His touch soothed her ... His warmth secured her! ... Once he was out of her sight the haunting emptiness of her life returned!

With his each step images of their encounters kept flashing in her eyes ... while Channi's words echoed in her mind!

"Geet pyar kisi faisle se nahi hota ... woh bas ho jaata hain! ... Pyar ko waqt ki nahi ... sirf ek lamhe ki zaroorat hoti hain!"

[Geet you can't decide to fall in love ... love just happens! ... It doesn't require time just a moment is enough!]

"Ek aisa lamha jab tumhe lage ke uske bina hamaari zindagi kuch nahi ... Woh hain toh hum hain ... woh nahi to kuch bhi nahi!"

[A moment when you feel your life is meaningless without him!]

"Woh jab mere paas (close) aaye toh pet (stomach) mein gudgudee (tingling feeling) ho ... woh jab mujhe dekhe toh lage ke main khoobsurat hoon ... woh jab mujhe chhooen (touch) toh aisa lage ke main pighal (melt) jaaun ... Uske baahon (embarce) mein jaakar aisa lage ke meri saari duniya bas yahi hain!"

[When he come close I get a tingling feeling in my stomach ... His one look makes me feel that I'm beautiful ... I melt at his one touch ... When in his arms I feel this is my world!]

"Uske paas hone se dil ko sukoon milta hain ... uske door jaane se adhoorapan mehsoos hota hain ... Uski aaghosh mein duniya ka koi darr hume chhoo na paaye ... Uski panaah mein jaise hamaara jahaan mukkamall hota hain!"

[I feel at peace when around him ... I feel incomplete without him ...I feel safe in his embrace ... His secured shelter completes my world!]

"Uski hansee hume khushi deti hain ... uske aansoon hume roola jaate hain ... uska dard dil ko chir deta hain ... uska gussa karna bhi pyaara lagta hain ... uska hum par chillana bhi sangeet lagta hain ... uska hume zor se pakadna jaise apna adhikaar jatana lagta hain!"

[His happiness makes me happy ... his tears makes me cry ... his pain rips me apart ... his anger also makes me love him ... his outburst feels like pleasant music ... his aggressive behaviour shows his possessiveness and right on me!]

"Jaise sirf uski liye bani hoon main ... sirf uska haq hain mere tan-man-badan par! ... Woh meri zindagi hain ... aur main uski amaanat!"

[Like I'm born to be his! ... Only he has a right on my heart - mind - body - soul! ... He is my life and I'm his precious possession!]

Just yesterday night these words seemed alien to her but at this point they expressed the exact state of her heart!

"Kya sach mein ... Main Maan sir se pyaar karne lagi hoon? ... Kya iss naye ehsaaas ko pyaar kehte hain? ... Kya issiliye meri aankhen har waqt sirf unhe dhoondhti hain!"

'This was the moment she knew ... that she had fallen in love!'

"Haan! ... Mujhe Maan sir se pyaar ho gaya hain! ... Kab woh mere dil mein utar kar meri zindagi ban gaye ... pata hi nahi chala!"

Geet grinned from ear to ear as she let herself envelope the new feeling of being in love!
