Hiii ...Yes I know.. but this story was narrated by my one of deceased friend Rosie. And I am putting it into words on MAANEET version. She was a movie buff and it was her one of most favorite Korean movie. I wanted to write this story as a tribute to her. But this story is not same as the movie. There are lots of changes in the plot and you will know it. Thanks for commenting and liking the sotry dear..

Maan was a former hockey player but in present he is a photo journalist, clicks photos for magazines and newspapers. Thank you diii.. I write stories which should give a message to society and I always try to put my thoughts into words to deliver a message to people. Yeahh you put it in correct words...from ugly duckling to beautiful swan...how people change themselves in love...thank you for such an lovely comment.

|| Chapter 2 ||

All four friends were sitting on wooden bench, outside the class in open space near cafeteria.

Dolly "Grade 10^th students are all so smart and cool yaar.. When our time will come?" says watching their seniors playing in the ground and some sitting around them laughing talking.

Pooja "aayega aayega dolly hamara bhi time aayega..have patience"

Dolly "It's so boring yaar...only we four girls and not even single guy wants to talk with us..humph..I wish someone asks me out for a coffee..." dolly's face adorn dreamy look. "no no not coffee ..pizza hut..or dominos ..or MacDonald's bhi chalega...ahhh double patties burger with mustard sauce plus extra cheese." Dolly licks her lips thinking about the food.

Rose looks at dolly with such an distaste expression "Dolly you have put on double patties on your waist already...no guy wants to ask you out if you planned to wash off his wallet on your food...sudarja.." and then rose asks pooja "have you calculated it?"

Pooja "Yes I got 34" says while scribbling something on note book.

Rose checks the list in a book "one who gets between 25 - 35, the man who's with you must have leadership characteristic.. He should be..." Rose looks at the guy who sat alone under a tree meditating.

Dolly "Like 10^th grade Sanjay, who is head of our yoga club?" both rose and dolly teases pooja for that.

Pooja snaps at them "shut up you both..."

Pooja scribbles on note book "Dolly got 15"

Rose "15-25, The man who suits you is a sports man...sports man?" rose looks at dolly from head to toe sports man??

Geet is busy at writing something without bothering to get involve in their stupid book and the list.

Rose "Sooo " she finds some guys who were playing basket ball in court "it should be Adi...hey look ..there he is...woohhh dolly teri tho laggai lottery.."

Dolly blushes coyly and pushes rose making her to fall on the ground from the bench but in next moment Adi breaks someone's nose getting wild in game.

Pooja "uggghhh he is not your man babyyy doll" Dolly's face fell.

Rose takes her place on the bench again shrugging off dirt from her skirt "For me, It should be A gangster for sure.." says in excitement.

Dolly "Yes, you're right. For you, he must be...Dany..."

Rose asks surprisingly "Dany? Dany? The guy who punched our hindi teacher?"

Dolly "yeahhh he is bit wild but very good looking you know...ek dum tere type ka...grey shade character type/..."

Rose looks at the guy in bit interest who was waving at bunch of guys from parking lot.

Geet lifts her head up when pooja says "Geet got 30"

Rose "ummm interesting ...The man who suits you is an artist or an player... he will be very handsome and loving. A good kisser"" Geet hears a laugher of boys behind them who were sitting around the bench, one particular laugh gets geet's attention and she turns to look at the guy..It's the same guy on whom geet drools daily at traffic signal and the one who gave her mangoes the other day.. She watches him talking giving hi5 with other guys and laughing. She feels awkward and shy to even look at him thinking how gorgeous and beautiful he looked were as she is so dark skinned with specs on and braces.

Geet forgot to breathe when he waves at her smiling again leaving her dumbfounded. She shows off her braced smile adjusting specs on her eyes.

English Language Period

Ms.Nancy hands over test paper to geet with a stern look. Geet smile widens seeing her marks on test paper.

Ms.Nancy "Wipe that smile from your face geet.. ..I know you are good at English language and drawing but in other subjects ..SOOO BADDD"

Geet bends her head down not able to look at the teacher feeling embarrassed. Ms.Nancy "Ok Class today we will discuss about the poetry please open page no. 78" says walking to the black board.

Pooja passes a chit to geet from side bench. Geet reads it hiding the chit in a book His name is maan, from grade 10^th A Section. He was kicked out from previous school for breaking some kid's nose in his class. He is so violent and wicked..we heard his parents are not together and had a very terrible past..Stay away from him geet.

- Dolly, Rose, Pooja

Geet frowns and writes below on chit that's not true..I don't believe it. geet throws that chit at dolly when Ms.Nancy turned to board.

Dolly reads it We also heard from meera, grade 9 that two boys were suspended from school today because of him. .. he is so danger...

Geet reads it I don't want to hear...err..read anything bad about him...stop meddling with his character because I don't care what others says about him.

Dolly was busy at writing reply to geet and fails to notice Ms.Nancy is standing beside her. Ms.nancy give her a sheet, without lifting her head dolly takes the sheet and reads what are you writing?

Dolly thinks it's a queen bee of the class who sits beside her table and writes It's our matter ..tumse matlab?

Ms.Nancy writes something on it gives the sheet back to dolly who was busy at scribbling on chit but this is my class my period and I am teaching ..

Dolly reads it and immediately stands up mumbling "wo main ..wo hum..wo ma'm"

Ms.Nancy's nostrils' flares in anger and barks at dolly "Get out of my class" and points at pooja, rose and geet "You, you and you...all three get out.. ..you all four are suspended from my next period also..out now"

All four drops their bags on lawn sighing. Dolly "Yaar uss nancy ma'm ka kuch tho karna parega...kitni taunt maarti hain humper...mujhe chote aathi boolathi ahin ...aur rose ko lily put ..aur geet ke skin tone pe kitna mazak udathi hain."

Pooja "Chodna..jaanedo..kohi nahi sunatha hamara..."

Rose "tho kya huwa...I know what to do to bring her on tracks ... wait and see"

Geet "Mujhe bathroom jaana hain...main abhi aayi..tum log cafeteria javo..I will meet you guys there"

Geet walks in empty corridor peeking into every section looking for maan. Here in maan's classroom; he was thrown out of class for tying empty tin cans on one of kid's pant in class.

He almost falls on geet bumping into her; once again but he balances himself and saves geet from a fall.

Maan "hey.. are you alright" asks geet who was shaking in maan;s hand with closed eyes.

Maan asks again when she doesn't reply "Hey .. You alright..I am sorry..to bump into you like this..Actually I am just thrown out of class"

Geet slowly opens her eyes were as still in his arms like they are posing for a shoot. "me-me-me tooo"

Maan chuckles "you too?".Helps her to stand up when they hear his class teacher's voice.

Geet runs off from there in nervousness without looking at him. After 10 minutes she walks back in the same corridor and finds maan standing outside on one leg with head phones on enjoying the punishment swaying to the music.

Geet looks at him dumbfounded and walks across him staring. Maan waves his hand trying to balance himself swaying to the music with a funny face. Geet walks off wondering what just happened and what a weird encounter -It's our second encounter.
