Part 10

Khushi was very disturbed after meeting Arnav in her office.
How dare he flirt with her?
Forget flirting, he can't even come in front of her after committing such a heinous deed, in which she was the victim.
But she noticed that the great Arnav Singh Raizada, who was known to be the never apologizing one had apologized to her.
Was he really guilty, thought her heart.
But he deserved to burn in the fire of redemption which was fueled by his fire of revenge, said her mind.
And Khushi Gupta, always chose her mind over her heart. The case today would be no different as she mentally promised herself that she would never forgive that Raizada, who took the sacrifice of innocence and dignity from her.

Next Day,

Anjali had walked in her cabin to get the shock of the day.
She witnessed Shyam Gupta in her cabin.
The person whom she loved one.
The person whom she hates now.
The person who used her as a pawn in the revenge game.
" Shyam Gupta,I think you forgot the mannerisms and professional etiquette of taking an appointment before meeting the CEO!" said Anjali in a cold voice devoid of any emotions.
" Rani Saheba.." started Shyam to be cut by Anjali.
" It is Ms.Raizada, Mr.Gupta! And also I didn't give you the permission to speak. Since you have come into the cabin without my appointment I request you to leave from here and wait till the appointment finalizes, which I am sure it will never be!" said Anjali curtly.
" I am extremely sorry, Rani Saheba!" said Shyam not moving from the place even after listening to Anjali's smooth dagger like words.

" Don't you understand the meaning of 'GET OUT', Mr. Shyam Gupta!" shouted Anjali on top of her voice, while she felt a weird weakness engulfing her.
" But Anjali...ANJALI" shouted Shyam, as he saw his wife falling down lifelessly.
Not that he had not loved her. He had always loved her. But the fire of revenge was so consuming that even love couldn't escape from that.
He was scared to hold her but his feelings which were saying that she would get hurt by falling down forced him to hold her.
He lifted her in his arms and placed her on the couch which was there in her cabin, and once his cabin.
He immediately called the receptionist through the intercom of the cabin and ordered her to send Khushi in.
Immediately after disconnecting the call, Shyam took the glass of water which was there on the table to sprinkle on her face, which he hoped will make her regain her consciousness.
She can scold me, beat me or punish me in any way she wishes but what's wrong with her, thought Shyam who was immensely worried for Anjali.
He was sure that there was some health issue which had caused this sudden downfall of Anjali.
Khushi had barged into the cabin immediately after the receptionist told her that Shyam called her from Anjali's cabin.
Seeing Anjali unconscious and Shyam near her, she was extremely furious.
" What did you do with Anjali?" asked Khushi, while pushing Shyam away from her.
Shyam was happy to see Khushi here.
" Not a time to answer this, Khushi! Anjali is unconscious and she is not regaining her consciousness even after I tried to make her gain it." said Shyam hurriedly while looking at Anjali with care and concern clouding his eyes.
" When a person like you, who destroyed her life comes infront of a girl, any girl would not remain in senses. And this happened in literal sense in Anjali's case. Please Shyam Gupta, be grateful enough to move from here." said Khushi while joining her hands in front of him.
There were tears of redemption, regret and repent which were misting in his eyes.
He knew what he did was wrong but it was so wrong he realized only now.
Love intensified every feeling of life. And redemption would surely not be an exception nor today, nor tomorrow.
The redemption in his heart intensified seeing his lady love lie lifeless in front of his eyes, which only saw revenge.
The repent in his heart grew seeing his dear sister hate him to this extent.
But this was not the time to think, it was time to act.
Now if something happens to Anjali he would never forgive himself, even if the punishment for his deeds was death.
" Anita, call the damn ambulance now!" ordered Khushi over the phone to her manager, before disconnecting the call not waiting for the reply.
Her attention then turned to Shyam who was trying to move close to Anjali, who was still lifeless from her physical appearance.
Khushi moved to him instantaneously and pushed him away.
" Shyam Gupta, mark my words. If something happens to Anjali, I swear on Devi Maiyya I will not spare you." said Khushi, while pointing her finger towards him as an anger gesture.
" Ma'am the ambulance is here" said Anita in a meek tone.
The ambulance was always there in the parking lot, so it was arranged in a matter of a few minutes.
" Anita, help me move Anjali!" ordered Khushi, turning towards Anjali.
" Let me help you Khushi!" said Shyam, stopping her.
" I don't need your help and I am sure Anjali will not appreciate your help too!" said Khushi furiously.
" Not a time to argue Khushi! Anjali's pulse is dropping every moment and by the time you both take her down it would be a lot of time waste. So let me help you!" said Shyam, logically.
Khushi thought for a second and realized what Shyam was saying was correct and Anjali was still safe as she would be around.
" Okay, but you will not come inside the hospital." almost ordered Khushi.
Shyam had ignored the sentence by his sister as he was carefully lifting his wife, whose breaths were steadily becoming slow as if she was leaving the hope to live.
Was she really the hope to live?

Anjali is not pregnant. She never had a physical relation with Shyam as I mentioned in the previous updates.
