Episode 8: Trouble in the Jungle
"That idiot!" Riddhi exclaimed. In the jungle, Riddhi had just entered inside and was making her way towards a tree nearby. "Who does he think he is?! He thinks he can throw a dare at me to make me look like I'm some scaredy cat!" Riddhi talked to herself. "I'll show him! Its just five minutes! I can manage here in five minutes!"
Suddenly, Riddhi became startled as she heard the sound of a creeping noise. She turned around, looking to see if anyone was there. As she stepped back in fear, Riddhi fell and let out a scream.
The scream was heard by Luv, Nikkita, Aditya, and Disha who were waiting outside by the campfire. The four of them stood up, startled to hear the scream.
"There's a problem! I know it!" Nikkita exclaimed.
"Oh come on! She probably just saw a mouse and screamed." Luv said.
"How can you be so sure?! She could have gotten in some kind of trouble." Aditya replied.
"It hasn't even been five minutes yet! She can't run back all scared just yet," said Luv. "Just wait! She'll come back before five minutes are even up!"
"You sure about that?" Disha asked.
"Of course!" Luv exclaimed.
But it wasn't until ten minutes had passed that the others got worried as Riddhi had not yet returned. Aditya, Nikkita, and Disha turned to Luv with displeased faces. "What?!" Luv exclaimed.
"Its been ten minutes! And she hasn't come back!" Nikkita yelled at Luv.
"Maybe she's trying to stay longer." Luv said.
"Shut up, moron! This was a bad idea from the start," said Aditya. "Now you go in there and find her!"
"Why me?!" Luv asked.
"Because you're the idiot that made her go in there!" Disha shouted as she dragged Luv by his arms and then threw him into the jungle. "Make it out alive!"
"Disha!" Aditya and Nikkita exclaimed.
"What?!" Disha asked. "Just warning him!"
Inside the jungle, Luv was making his way around, walking straight down. "That Arrowhead!" Luv rolled his eyes as he continued walking. "If she couldn't handle it, then why accept the dare! And now I have to play hide and go seek! Arrowhead!" Luv continued to call out for Riddhi as he kept walking. "Arrowhead! Arrowhead! I know you're here! Come on now! Arrowhead!"
But then, Luv himself had fallen. He fell down what appeared to be a hillside, landing into a ditch. "You got to be kidding me?!" Luv shouted. He then turned around and was surprised at what he saw. He looked over to see Riddhi lying down in the ditch, unconscious. Luv rushed over to her and shook her hand, saying, "Arrowhead! Arrowhead, get up! Come on! Get up, Arrowhead!"
But Riddhi wouldn't wake up. Luv continued to shake her hand, holding her up, and then touching her face with his hand. He finally shouted, "Riddhi!"
And with the sound of her actual name, Riddhi had slowly opened her eyes. Luv sighed in relief, seeing Riddhi had gotten off. But Riddhi, seeing Luv was holding her, pushed his arms off, shouting, "Hands off, Monkey Boy!"
"What the heck?! I just came and saved you!"
"What save me?! I just fell in this ditch because of your stupid dare! Gosh, you're such a moron!"
"You're the one who accepted the dare, Arrowhead! And you're blaming this on me!"
"Yes! Because now we're both stuck in here! How are we going to get out?!"
"I'll figure it out!"
"Oh really?! How?!"
Luv looked ahead, seeing some light coming from downward. "Follow me." Luv told Riddhi. Riddhi went behind Luv, and the two headed down into what appeared to be a tunnel. As they continued to go out, they made their way out of the ditch, looking around in a different side of the jungle. "Oh great! Now we're further down here!" Luv exclaimed.
"Of course we are! You're the one who led us out here!"
"Hey! Its better than being stuck inside the ditch! If we walk around, maybe we can find a way out around this place. Come on."
"Oww!"
"Now what?!"
Luv turned to see Riddhi holding onto her foot, which had been badly scraped and had a cut on it as well. He looked at it and asked concerned, "How did this happen?!"
"I hurt my foot when I fell in the ditch."
"There's no way you can walk on like that."
"I'm fine, all right! I can take care of myself!"
As Riddhi tried to walk, Luv rolled his eyes as he then lifted her, carrying her in his arms. "You! Put me down now!" Riddhi screamed. "Put me down! You-"
"Shut up!" Luv shouted. Riddhi looked surprised as Luv still carried her. "Scream again I'll drop you!" Riddhi rolled her eyes and kept quiet and Luv walked, carrying her in his arms to which she held on around his neck. She looked at him with solemn eyes as he looked ahead and continued to walk forward.
Soon, Luv stopped near a tree and placed Riddhi down against the tree. He then took out what appeared to be a washcloth from his small backpack. He took out a water bottle to wet the washcloth and then grabbed hold of Riddhi's foot. "What are you doing?!" Riddhi asked, shocked to see Luv hold her foot.
"Well what does it look like?! I'm trying to take care of your bruise!"
Riddhi looked on in surprise as Luv used the washcloth to clean the skin around the wound on her foot. He tried to be as gentle as possible, while Riddhi remained calm and stable, despite the pain. After cleaning the wound, Luv took out a bandaid from the backpack pocket and gently wrapped it around the wound. "You know...you're the last person on the planet who I would think would carry around first aid." Riddhi said.
"This was supposed to be for me incase I run into some wild animals here. But at least I used it."
"Yeah...thanks."
"Huh?!"
"What?"
"Say it again."
"Say what?!"
"What you just said a moment ago!"
"Why?!"
"It makes me look good. Come on!"
"Um...thanks."
"There it is!"
Moron, Riddhi rolled her eyes. No...maybe I shouldn't say that. After all, he did bandage this up for me.
"So how do you suppose we get out of here?!" Riddhi asked Luv, folding her arms.
"Honestly, we're going to have to stay out here tonight."
"WHAT?!"
"Its too dark! We can get out of here in the morning!"
"MORNING?! No! I want to go now!"
"There's no way! Besides, we can just rest here for the night."
"There's no way I'm going to rest around inside a jungle!"
"I think we should go after them," Aditya told Nikkita and Disha. The trio were waiting outside of the jungle for Luv and Riddhi, becoming worried. "They could be in trouble."
"I agree!" Disha exclaimed.
"We shouldn't go on our own though. Let's talk to Mr. Gabo and maybe we all of us can go then." Nikkita suggested.
"Good idea." Aditya said.
"Arrowhead, you're being difficult!"
"I'm not being difficult! I'm not staying here and that's final!"
"You can't even walk!"
"Yes I can! I'll manage on my own!"
As Riddhi tried to get up and walk, Luv shook his head and lifted her again, carrying her as he started walking. "You idiot! I told you I don't want to go! Put me down!" Riddhi shouted as Luv still carried her and walked. "I will kill you if you don't put me down this instant! Put me down!"
While Riddhi continued to shout, Luv rolled his eyes and still carried her, thinking, Man! Now I gotta take care of Arrowhead for one night! Luv, what have you gotten yourself into?!
