Chapter 22
Kalpi kept waking back to Palace in a Daze,Angry and Confused at her Current Situation,Kalpi was angry at Shaad and Raghav,the had forced their Love on her,She wondered if they had Expected her to Accept them.
Before she could enter the Palace she was pulled into a hug by Zoya,Shaad's Little sister,"Bhabhijaan How are you??"
Kalpi caress Zoya's Face and smiles "I'm alright,When did you arrive?? Does Shaad Know?" Kalpi asked with curiousity.
"No Bhabhijaan,I'll go meet him now,But I'll see you later" Kalpi smiles as she left,then it faded and her Mind fell back into her Dilemma,she saw one of the Maidservent comming with A Tray of Notes "Choti Begum,This was sent by a College Friend,I am Sorry," Kalpi Looked at her confused by her words "Why are you sorry?? What's the Need to be??" Kalpi took the Notes and watches the Maidservent as she left,She wondered why The Maidservant was Sorry,Brushing it Off Kalpi opened the Packet with curiosity and her Eyes widens and Began watering as she read on,Kalpi Frozed in her spot and then Finally broke down in Tears with Raghav and Mahi Watching From Afar Confused.
Mahi stopped Raghav before he could go to her "Raghav,I know you Love her, but Let her cry this out,Whatever is hurting her Let her face it,You can't keep going to her every time she cries"
Raghav Looked at Mahi With a Angry Gaze "So am supossed to stand and watch her cry?? I can't!", "You Will have to Raghav,.
Raghav and Mahi watches on a Kalpi Kept on Sobbing.
Raghav Made his way into Dev's Cabin taking a seat "Good Day Mr Chopra" Raghav said Looking at him.
"Johnny,I am Very Pleased with how you Protect my Daughter,she seems to Like you too." Dev said gaviing Raghav a warm smiled,Raghav Looked at him and Chuckled Knowing Kalpi doesn't seem to Like him yet,But we wasn't giving up on her.
"To tell you the truth,Shaad doesn't Like you Around Afana,He feels she doesn't Need a Bodyguard,But I trust you Alot Johnny,Though Shaad is My Friend's Son,I still want to Protect my Child from Men Like That Raghav Singhaina,I trust Shaad,But Johnny I came to trust you,My Afana Is Safe in your Hands" Raghav smiled But he was Tense Knowing how Dev Felt about his True Identity "Thank You Mr Chopra,I feel Great that you Have Trust in me,I will do My Best to Protect Kal...Afsana ji"
Kalpi stood infront of the Mirror Fixing her Earrings,Meher walked in Surprised seeing her Decked up.
"Kalpi,Where are you going Like that?" She asked Confused
Kalpi fixed her Salwar and Looked at Meher, "I'm just going out today,I'll see you tonight" Saying that Kalpi walks out of the Room,Heading outside,She Looked ahead seeing Raghav standing by the Tree waiting for her.
"Your Dad told me you wanted to go out,Where would you Like to go??" Raghav asked.
"I'm going to a Wedding" Kalpi said turning away.
"Is it Ours??" Kalpi looked at Him Annoyed "I'm... Crashing it"
Raghav chuckles at her "The Good And Holy Kalpana Has gone Bad". Kalpi turns away and Began walking,Raghav catches up behind her and Holds her wrist tightly "Don't walk away When I'm speaking to you,It's Bad,Don't you have Manners"
Kalpi Pulls her hands away and Watches him "So this friend of yours has to be a good friend,because you're Dolled up very well,So what's her Name??" Raghav Demanded.
"Wow,You're Full if it Aren't you!" Kalpi said Irked by him.
"I didn't ask you that Kalpi What's her Name??" Raghav Replied
"His Name is Prem,I am Going to the Man I Once Loved and Cared about on his Wedding day" Kalpi Looked at A Shocked and Taken aback Raghav and Left from there heading to the Car.
Kalpi Walked into The Wedding Hall Looking around at it's Beauty,Raghav Kept a Distance Behind her and Quietly Observed her Every Move,Kalpi stood Afar and watched Prem as he Married his Wife,She Looked at the Sindoor That was Going to be her right,she stood in tears staring at him,Raghav Stands next to and watches on "He looks Happy Biwi,You should Smile and Not cry about this" Raghav said.
Kalpi Scoffs and watches him "Really! I had to watch the Man I Love get Married and I should smile,It's all your Fault that should've been me,I would've been with Prem, I would've been Happy!!" Kalpi jerked Raghav's Hands away while he tried Calming her down "Shouting at a Wedding??".
Kalpi and Raghav turned seeing Prem and His Bride Standing Before them,Kalpi Looked away and Wiped her tears.
"So,You came out of your Coma,Congrats!" Raghav said Smiling at him,Kalpi's eyes was sticked to Prem,Noticed by Everyone.
"Staring Is Uncomfortable Biwi!' Raghav said Pulling her closer,holding her by the waist tightly "What are you doing,Let me go!" Kalpi whispered to him trying to removed his Hands"Just Relax Biwi" He said.
"You both Look Happy In Love Kalpi,I'm Happy for you" Prem said Looking straight at a Broken Kalpi.
Prem Hugged His Wife and both Smiled Introuducing her "This is My Wife Ahana Prem Jadhav" Kalpi smiled at them Both and Congraulate them then Left from there holding back her tears.
"The Wife's So Emotional when it comes to Weddings" Raghav said,"It's Alright,You have a Beautiful Wife" Ahana said.
Raghav and Prem Exchanged Gazes,Then Raghav Left from there.
Raghav walks by the Fountain watching a Crying Kalpi,He hugs her tightly from the back startling her "Kalpi,His wife is noting compare to you,so what you haven't Married that Prem,You always Have your Raghav,Anyways You're mine already"
Raghav held her even tighter seeing her struggle "Relax Biwi! I am here with you" Kalpi kept squirming until Raghav let her go.
"I told you not to touch me,Are deaf or something! I told you to stay away from me" Kalpi shouted,she then stormed off going into the Car,Raghav holds his head in frustration,he felt like slapping her until she understands his feelings towards her.
Deciding to Take Prem's Marriage off Of kalpi's Mind he carried her to a Funfair,He Strolls down quietly watching Kalpi eating the Popcorn,He took her by the Hands forcefully and Carried her over to the Ferris Wheel both took a seat and the Ferris wheel carried them Around "You're Awfully Quiet?? Did I say something Wrong??" Raghav said Looking at Kalpi.
"I'm with you so I have to be quiet,I wouldn't want Monster Raghav crossing his Limits" she said eating the Popcorn.
"Monster Raghav is Back from your Mouth,When Will it be I Love you Raghav??" He asked Looking at her,kalpi turns and watches him "Can I ask you something? Why do you Love me? Why all of a sudden you can't Lust after me? You told me Love is Rubbish,then what Happen?"
Seeing his Silence and Shocked Face Kalpi turns away and Continued to Eat her Popcorn
Raghav sighs and Rested his head on her shoulders startling Kalpi,she froze and couldn't Move Raghav,She Looked at him and Pouted continuing to eat her Popcorn.
After a While, Raghav Rests his hands on his face watching Kalpi Intently as she Devours Ice cream "You really enjoy that"He said,Kalpi Looked at him and continued eating "Won't you feed me or share with me??" He asked
Kalpi kept eating faster "No I won't,I love this Ice Cream" Kalpi said Glaring at Raghav.
"When Did you Buy this?? I've never seen it before" He asked with curiousity, Kalpi sighs and Looks at him "Fine! I'll tell if you stop staring at me,Do you remember the Day I came home drunk? Before I was drunk I sat right here and Ate this Beautiful thing" Kalpi said Happily,Raghav watches her Taken Aback with his Cruel Self,He watches her as she continued to eat the Ice Cream Happily "I'm sorry" He Muttered
"What did you say?? Huh?? Are you cursing me? So I don't care,Curse me how much you want,You already ruined me" Kalpi said Glaring at Raghav who Looked at her sadly,Kalpi's eyes fall at a Tropical Juice Palour, "Would you get me a Juice" Raghav asked Noticing her,"Fine,But I'm going as I want one and you won't Look at me'.
Kalpi got up fretting and stopped by Raghav's Words "I Love You" She turns and watches his grinning Face "Keep it to yourself" Kalpi glares at him and leaves from there Mumbling.
Raghav sits back and smiles "Making the Wife work,It's Part of being a great Husband,she'll accept me soon and I'll Love her More than anything". Raghav said Happily
Kalpi walks down the Fair heading to by a Drink rubbing her knuckles in nervousness Remembering Raghav telling her Loves her,she then scoffs and Curses herself,As she made another step Kalpi found herself cornered by Four Men,Watching her with those Eyes she always hated,"Don't Touch Me" Kalpi said with Fear in her voice,As the Men Walked in closer Cornering her,Tears ran down her cheeks Hoping Someone would've Come to save her,She felt one of the Men Hands Touching her as she Pushed him away he held her tightly Pulling her to him Leaning in for A Kiss,Before The Man Could've Kissed her Raghav Held him by the Head and Violently Pulled him away,Kalpi who was in tears Looked into Raghav's Angry eyes.
She watches on as he slamed their heads together,Punching them Until their Ran away,Raghav walks up to a Whimpering Kalpi,Raghav Looks at her Intently Looking at her Shoulders and Face "Are you okay?? You're not hurt,Did they touch you anywhere Badly??" Raghav Removed her hair from her face and Watches her "Why are you crying! You should've called out for me! What if something had happen to you!" Raghav then Hugged her tightly,Kalpi stood in Raghav's Arms in a Daze
"You're alright Kalpi,I'm here to Protect you" Raghav said caressing her back.
On their Way back to the Chopra's Palace,Kalpi eyes kept glancing at Raghav who was in the front seat,The car was in silence Until Raghav broke it "Kalpana,Please Don't Inform your Father about this,He will be worried"
Kalpi Look at him and was lost in a Daze,She wanted to Thank him for saving her,Her Mind and Heart were Fighting her,After thinking for a while They Had Finally reach the Palace.
Raghav Had Open the Door for her and she got out staring at him,seeing him so different and Caring towards her.
"Kalpana Please Take care of yourself and Thank you for the Amazing Date,You were so quiet'
Kalpi Looks at him As he left from there, "Bappa Why Am I feeling like this?" She wondered.
Kalpi Quickly Made her way To her Room,She Looked at Meher who was comming with her Clothes and Medicine.
"Choti Begum How was your day out?" Meher asked Untying her hair. " It was Pleasant Meher,Very Pleasant" she said still in her daze,Meher Smiles and Brushes her hair "Was it? Did you enjoy your time with Raghav ji? Did he took care of you?" Meher asked Looking at her with curiousity,Kalpi came out of her Daze and Looks at Meher "Why are you talking about him? I don't want to hear anything about him" saying that kalpi angrily got up slamming the Door entering the Washroom,Meher sat back "Allah,This Girl won't Listen,she will have to feel,What can't she see she likes him".
Raghav and Mahi Sat on the Front steps of the Outhouse eating snacks and laughing "You Know Raghav,This Place is really beautiful" Mahi said "It is,Kalpi has done an amazing job".
Hearing Kalpi's Name Mahi's smile faded,she Looks at Raghav and holds his hands "Raghav,I don't want to be Intrusive with your Plans But Don't you think It's enough now,Kalpi has Rejected you and Treated you Like dirt,Why don't you just leave now" She said Looking at a smiling Raghav,"I want to leave Mahi,Do you think It's Fun knowing,The woman I love,her entire Family wants to Kill Me for what I did to her,I Raped her and I can't change it or Make her Forget,I wish I could,But I can't leave I want her to forgive me and Love me,I want to give her the Dream and Rights Of A wife,Just Like what Sophie Told me."
Mahi Looks at his sad Eyes as he Spoke to her,She hold his hands tightly and Comforted him "But It Pains me knowing she Aborted Our Child,I wish I was there to stop her"
Mahi notices his tears and wipes them "Hey,Don't Cry,When you Marry her,you'll have lots of time to create another Child this time A Child of Love"
After Changing Kalpi Slowly Opened her room door seeing a Note placed on her bed,she Looked around then Opened the Note.
"Meet Me by the Cabana,Shaad" Kalpi's eyes widens with shocked,She Looked at the Time it was about 11PM.
Kalpi made her way quicky and Quietly out of her room.
Kalpi walked down the steps,Mahi and Raghav Turns seeing her walking through the Garden,Both got up quickly and Followed her.
"Sha...Shaad,Are you here?" Kalpi said with nervousness in her Voice Looking around,Mahi and Raghav Both Peeped through the Bushes "How many times for the day Have we done this??" Mahi asked Irritiated "Alot,Ssshh Let's Just watch,If that Manic makes a Move,I'll Trash Him".
Kalpi Looks at the Corner of her eyes seeing Shaad walking towards her with a strange Look in his eyes,Before she could Blink Kalpi found herself Pressed against shaad.
"I had confessed,now I would like to know your Feelings" He said caressing her shoulders Mahi held Raghav back,she sighs wondered why she always had to hold him back,Kalpi clears her throat and tries breaking away from shaad's grip "Sha...Shaad,What...What Am I supossed to say??" Kalpi said.
"I said I Loved you,You're supossed to Tell me your feelings on this" He replied,Realising She was Tense Shaad Stepped Back and Looks at her "I'm sorry if I had Made you Uncomfortable Afsana,But I would Like to know your Feelings"
Kalpi watches Shaad unable to tell him how she felt,Kalpi didn't fell anything special around him,She was Just nervous with his Behavior,his Sudden Behavior of holding her closely,She Looks at him as he awaited her answer,Kalpi tried saying something but the Words got stuck in her throat,Shaad Gently take her hand and kisses it "I will Wait,I won't force you,I'll see you in the Morning" Saying that Shaad Kissed her on the Forehead and Left from there,Kalpi drops back on the Bench Sulking over her Life.
She was angry First Raghav had confessed then Shaad,then Raghav Again then Shaad,she didn't know why their were forcing her to Accept them,Kalpi Couldn't tell Shaad she didn't feel any specail feelings with his touch or Words,she only consider him her friend,Then Her Mind fell on Raghav she was angry as his touch Made her feel Different,It felt good,she felt Everything when He touches her,That's why she doesn't Like him touching her,But his words and Her Past with him Made her Heartless towards him.
"What's That Manic doing here,Romancing you?" Raghav said Making his way out of the Bush startling Kalpi.
"Wha...Mr Singhaina what are you doing??" Kalpi breathing Heavily holding her chest,"Did you just came out of the Bushes,were you spying on Shaad and I??" She said Pointing at the Bush.
Raghav Rolls his eyes and Scoffs "So!Why did you let him touch you?"Kalpi Looks away and Folds her Arms "So what if he did"
Kalpi Gets of the Bench and Saw Mahi standing in the Back,she Looks at Raghav and scoffs "So,do you always spend time with The Chatterbox??" Raghav and Mahi Looks at her Irritated.
"Don't change the Subject Biwi,He called you here,Are you going to Accept his Proposal??" Raghav walks up to Kalpi and Glares at her "Are you? Are you not!"
"I'm not sure,He's An Amazing Guy and He gave me time to think,I guess Yes I'll accept him"
Raghav laughs amused by kalpi who Looks at him confused "You want to Accept him?? You barely Look comfortable around Him,You're rejecting me for a Manic Like him??"
"Yeah I am,Now you can go away!" Kalpi said making a exit when Raghav walks quickly infront of her with A Furious Gaze,
"Are you not going??" kalpi said irked by him
"You are frustrating,It's frustrating to Talk and Understand you! He shouted at her,Kalpi Looks on Sadly as Raghav took Mahi by the wrist and Left with her,"Am I Frustrating Mr Singhaina?,But why did you leave with her??" Kalpi then stamped up cursing herself.
The Next Day After Lunch Everyone Gathered Outside Looking at A shirtless Bloody Raghav on his Knees with Guards Pointing their sticks at him,Mahi and meher Looked on in Tears While Kalpi and Suhana Just Watched on
"What is this!!" Dev Shouted "Sir He had Tresspassed and went pass the Cabana,Then Began fighting with us.
"Just Let Him Go!" Dev said shocking the Guards,who hesiantly released him.
"Johnny I apologize about this,But that Cabana is Important,Everyone Please Leave,One of the Handmaids will help him" Dev said Leaving with Everyone.
Raghav looked up at Kalpi who stared at him,Before Meher could help him Kalpi pulled her back.
Mahi and Meher watched her shocked and Confused.
A Tear fell on Raghav's Face seeing Kalpi standing there With an Emotionless Gaze on him,He waited and Hope she Would've Come to him.
