Don't know why but can't seem to miss an episode of Code Red. Whether it's Umeed, Awaaz or Chakravyuh, I enjoy all of the concepts. The first few episodes were mediocre compared to the recent episodes. I never watched Saakshi's earlier shows but really love her in this show. The way she enacts a brief story of the main character (or victim) in the onset of the show is brilliant. And the manner in which she questions Kabir during Awaaz is also gripping.
Today's episode was one in which a mentally challenged girl was gang-raped by hospital staff. Such a prevalent topic keeping the current events in mind - but handled with such care. However, I wonder how one can not get disturbed by watching these episodes day in and day out. So far I am not mentally drained by watching this show but wonder if I will ever be.
