Past in Bangalore..

KR in their evening tuition session..both were sitting on the couch ,in the living room..

"Raji ,its hardly a month away for ur exams..i believe I have covered all the subjects..next week I will conduct a full chapter test for u..like a model test..so be ready for that..if u have any doubt ask me before itself.." Karthik was instructing her sincerely ..

Raji nodded for yes..

Suddenly her heard a horn sound of a car that instantly lit up her face.. she had flown towards the door step and peeped outside with eager filled eyes..

Karthik looked back at her in surprise..

"What is she up to..?"

She came back with crest fallen face..pouting heavily..

He glared at her..

"naan inga yevlo important aana vishayam sollittu iruken..nee yennamo unakku sanmbandhame illaadha maadhiri yezhundhu odura?"

"Sorry sir..i am waiting for my cousin's arrival...adhaan car satham kettadhum odi poi paarthen.." she said with still grumpy face..

"appdi yenna andha cousin avlo mukkiyam.."Karthik scowled .. "wait wait..cousin naa boy aa?illai girl aa?"his mind jerked back to its high alert mode..

He gave her a wary look...

"Cousin naa..How u two is related?"

Her face beamed instantly..

"Adhu yennoda maamaa ponnu...peru Nisha..peru nallaa irukku la?u know sir..yennoda cousin avlo azhagaa irupaa..?yenga kudumbadhulaiye..yaen yenga oorlaiye ava dhaan azhagu..style aana nadai,dressing sense ,matching accessories ..chance ae illai...trend setter ava..B.E final year padikaraa..inga Bangalore la yedho seminar irukaam adhai attend panna varaa..three days inga dhaan stay panna poraa.."

She recited everything in a single breath in an animated way...

Karthik was least interested on her lecture about her so called beautiful cousin..as the answer he wanted to know had been answered at the first sentence itself he paid no heed to her other bug bugs..

"ippa yedhukku idhaiyellam yen kitta solra?"he asked in annoyed tone..

"Neenga venaa paarunga Nisha akka va paarthaa dhaan ungalalukku theriyum ,naan yaen ivlo solrennu..ava avlo azhagu.."she said with dreamy eyes..

He admired the enchanting beauty of the girl who was actually acclaiming the looks of the other girl..

"How could she deliberately call some other girl as beautyful..?while she herself being the epitome of beauty.?" He exclaimed in mind..

His trance has been broken with the noise coming from outside...followed by Raji mom's loud voice..

"Raji..Nisha vandhutaa paaru..."

Raji scampered away to the entrance like a rabbit.

"Crazy..."Karthik rolled his eyes in disbelief..

Raji literally dashed on to Nisha hugging her with full excitement...

"Hi akka..."she shrieked..

But Nisha made face at Raji..she parted herself from her..

"Hey Raji ..yenna idhu china pulla maadhiri..ippadi mela vandhu vizhundhaa yennoda dress spoil aagudhu paaru.."she said in annoyed tone..

"Oh sorry kaa.."Raji smiled absurdly.. she didn't complain and took that casually..

"Nisha akka unga dress romba nalla irukku.."she said with child like fascination..

"nalla irukkaama viduvenaa? yevlo thedi alainji vaanginen theriyumaa?"Nisha was full into of herself, having high pride over her looks..

They came inside continuing their chitchat...

"Aamma nee yaen innum apapdiye irukka..school kids maadhiri piggy t-shirt.. loose fitting track pant nu..grow up Raji..u r going to enter the college in few months.."

Nisha said with a disappointing look...

"Adhaan ippo nee vandhute illai..yenakku yellam solli kudu adhe maadhiri naan seiyaren.."

Raji chirped in exhilaration...Mean time Karthik walked towards them..noticing the other man's presence both the girls turned their gaze to him..

Raji's eyes wide opened in shock..

"iyoo sir ah marandhittu ivlo neram ingaiye irundhutome..nalla thittu vaanga poren."she looked at him at the corner of her eyes finding some cue of his mind from his stern face..

She gulped hard..

"Raji.. it seems u r too busy..so let's continue our session tomorrow.."

He was about to leave..but stopped hearing Raji's call..

"Karthik sir..naan sonnen la yennoda cousin Nisha akka nu,adhu ivanga dhaan..akka idhu yennoda maths tuition master Karthik sir.."she introduced them formally with utmost pride in her voice..

Karthik looked at "Raji's nisha akka" nonchalantly ...within one look he could fathom that all her stunning outlooks had the major contribution from many parlors...

Nisha's eyes flapped seeing Karthik.. "what a handsome hunk..!"he exclaimed..

And casted her trade mark charming smile at him with her seductive look..and extended her hand elegantly to him..

"hi.."she was so much into herself as she knew no one could resist her charm ...

Karthik passed a distasteful look at her and ignoring her extended hand completely he muttered a reckless "hi" in return .. and walked off in his usual fast strides..

Nisha got an insult for her life time..she had never been ignored by any of the men she had met..she was always given a special attention from her childhood ..she never once got a rejection in her life..she had fully aware of her effect on men ,there were men who would be dying to get a glimpse of her ,for them touching her hand would be their dream come true life time opportunity ...but this man..completely smacked down her pride off guarded.. no one in her life showed her this much attitude and treated her like a dirt..

Her ego got a huge blow ...

Raji was fascinated to her nisha akka..as she looked like a live doll, perfect and beautiful from head to toe..the way she stands ,speaks, the dresses she wore and the accessories ...everything about her enthralling her ..she used to watch her in amusement in childhoods..and that wonderment still remains inside her..

She was like a idol for Raji..but least did she know that all her beauty was parlor made not a natural one..

"Raji unnoda master romba haughty aa irukkaan.."

Raji's blood boiled hearing abusive words about her sir..

"Appadilaam onnum illai ..avaru konjam reserved type avlo dhan.."she defended him..

Nisha furrowed her brows ...

"Ivlo azhagaana ponnu inga nikkuren..kandukaama poraan.."

"Avaru ponnuga kitta pesa maataaru.."Raji announced with pride..

"Ponnunga kitta pesa maataaraa?Nisha stretched her eyes in surprise..

"Is he a gay or what?" she asked casually with a smirk while moving inside to her room..

Raji stood rooted with the widened eyes in shock..

"How could akka say something like that about my Karthik sir?"

"Chi chi..appadilaam irukaadhu..I hate this Nisha ka..she is so mean.."first time in the history she offended Nisha's statement..and looked at her retreating back in indignation..

"Oru vela irukkumo...???????"the other part of her mind raised the question of doubt..

"Nooo..."her mind screamed in high decibel...

Present

Karthik was sitting alone in the conference hall and was thinking deeply..about his own behavior..why my mind is wavering ,always running behind that girl..?what I am feeling for her is something serious or just a piece of my exaggerated imagination? how long I could able to endure this confusion..?

He had been revolved around with so much of questions ,which he could never get any answer..

Then he gets a call from Vishnu..asking him to join for lunch...

He went with Vishnu...as he thought atleast being with the chatter box Vishnu might help him to get some peace of mind..but that small relief was also very short lived..while he saw Raji in canteen sitting along with Lakshmi..his day gotten even worse while Vishnu marched towards them and joined with them greeting them excitedly..

"Hi Lakshmi,Hi Raji..."

Having left with no other options to choose..he reluctantly went to join them with a subtle expression..

She smiled at him very brightly...

"How could she smile..while I am in my worst of moods..?or is she laughing at my plight ..Am I a laughing stuff to her..?

His anger on himself burst out and ready to pounce on the random prey in its way..at that moment..unluckily it seemed Raji was its prey ..

"Raji I haven't got any reply for my mail yet?seriously u are too lethargic..why can't u complete ur work within the given time once in a while at least...."he said with a withering look..

Her face fell in humiliation..it seemed she muttered some curses ..

"Hitler..Hitler..he is always into work..velaiya thavira vera yedhuvum kannukku theriyaadhu.."

"Dai ..yennadaa canteen la kooda work ah pathi pesikittu..too much.."Vishnu taunted him..

"Ivan kedakkuraan..neenga sollunga girls yenna saapidureenga ..seekiram order..order.."Vishnu asked funnily to lightened the air..

"Yenakku yedhuvum venaam.."Raji said passing a glare at Karthik..

"Yaen ?nee kaalaila kooda saapidalai nu sonniye Raji"lakshmi asked in concern voice...

"naan poi ivarukku mail anupittu vandhu sapidaren.."she grabbed her bag and stomped off fuming..

"Are u happy now?"vishnu shook his head in disapproval looking towards Karthik..

While lakshmi was about to follow Raji..Karthik stopped her..

"Lakshmi I will bring her back ..u guys pls carry on.."

He treaded quickly to reach her pace.."Raji..nillu"He called out her name loudly..

She didn't even slowed down her speed, instead increased her pace..he covered the distance within four long strides and caught her wrist tightly to stop her..she had not expected that sudden pull ,so she slightly tipped on him..but quickly restored her balance..

"come and have ur lunch..Raji"he said authoritative look..she held his gaze firmly and pressed her lips to form a thin line showing her stubbornness..

"vaa.. Raji.."this time little bit of low tone..

"neenga dhaane sonnenga ..velai seiya laayakkillai..saapaadu oru kedaannu.."she asked in a flaring eyes..

"naan yeppa appadi sonne..?'he asked in shock..

"neenga sonnadhukku artham idhaane?"she asked with a grumpy face..

"I didn't mean in that way ... adam pidikaama vaa..?"

He pulled her towards the canteen with the hand which was still in his hold..

She dodged away from his hold ..

"I won't come" she folded her hands stubbornly and carelessly turning her head to the other side.. ..

"Don't think that I will come running behind to pacify u.."

"Oh..Did I ask u to come running behind this time?"

Reverted back fearlessly..

Seeing her stubbornness his patience had evaporating in wind..with an impatience gasp..he asked..

"Sorry...podhumaa?ippo saapida vaaa"

He said those words between his gritted teeth..getting angry for doing something out of his nature..

That is Convincing a woman...

"You no need to ask sorry ...U wanted to humiliate me in front of everyone right? Well in that case obviously You won sir...go ahead and celebrate..why u r beckoning me to celebrate my own misery ?" she asked with the hurtful voice with the streak of tear in her eyes..

He closed his eyes in remorse..

The last thing he wanted to see on this earth was her tears..it pierced him like a needle..

In spite of him doing all the efforts to not hurt her, time to time he ends up in hurting her even more..he can't forgive himself if she shed tears because of him..

He hastily thought of ways to pacify her..and then reluctantly he brought his hands up to his ear..he holds his ear apologetically looking at her making cute sorry face...

"I am really very sorry.."

Her eyes astonished to see him do like this..she looked at him incredulously .."Am I hearing that?oh god I actually dragged out a sorry from "MR super ego"

He mouthed a "please "seeing her not fully convinced face..

Something had tickled inside her seeing him do like this..

Her eyes gleamed finally not with the tears but with the happiness..and a smile appeared to her out of her control even though she wanted to hid it from him..

That smile made his day..he sighed in relief..

"I would even conquer the whole world if it brings a small smile to her face...no matter what ..i even go to any extend to make her happy .."the thought suddenly popped up in his mind and was startled by his own thought..

"Why I am suddenly thinking like an amateur poet?"

"u have surely gone nuts man.."he smiled to himself..

"I will buy a lunch for u..to make up for my blunder.."he asked with pleading eyes..

She was wondering "am I day dreraming.?he is being this much nice to me surely raises the suspect" Surprise after surprise make her feel dizzy..

She walked along with him with a shy smile pasted to her lips..

Her track froze by the sudden tornado dashed at him from nowhere and glued to him like a fevikiwk..

"Hey..Karthik...how much I missed u daa..u know.."

Raji's jaw dropped to form a big "O."..her eyes widened in shock while Karthik patted her back with a smile...

"Is he really smiling..?"she blinked her eyes twice to confirm it..

"Angel..easy..relax.."he kind of calmed her down..

Finally they parted after few seconds..but for Raji it seemed after ages..

"Is he the same Karthik sir I have known from Bangalore..who didn't even spare a glance to any girl..?Hugging a girl in public is totally out of his box..

How much he had been changed over these years..!!!how could I be oblivious to this side of him?"

She felt something burning inside..

"Who is she?how dare she hug my Karthik sir as if she own him?"

She frowned at them all annoyed..

"Hey, Angel what a surprise..inga yenna panra...?"Karthik asked in excited voice..heedlessly crushing down Raji's final hope of him bashing up the new girl..

"Yen kekka maatah..sollama kollama aal escape aagittu..unnai thedi kandu pidikka naan yevlo kashta paten theriymaa?namma Sriram dhaan sonnan nee Nettech la work panrennu..udane inga job ku try panni..interview laam mudichi..inikku dhaan velai confirm aachi..unaku surprise aa irukattum nu dhaan un kitta sollalai.."she explained as if she had done some thrilling adventure..

"Yeppadi irundhadhu yennoda surprise..?"she asked resting her elbow on his shoulder..

"Its indeed awesome, incredible .."he grinned ear to ear..

That raises Raji's pulse rate rapidly ..steam coming from her both ears...she pouted her lips sulking..

"yenkitta mattum yeppavum sidu moonji roobam ..indha bimbo kitta mattum pallu sulukikkara alavukku sirikara Vishva roobam aa..yellathukkum mela air tight hugging vera.."she fumed within..

"ahhh..."Angel winced in pain suddenly..clutching her stomach..

"yenna aachu Angel ?"Karthik was panicked ..

"Romba pasikkudhu..saapida yedhavadhu vaangi kudu Karthik."she said in childish voice..

Karthik whacked her head playfully..and said

"Nee thitundhave maata..."

"yes...sari vaa polaam.." Angle literally dragged Karthik from there..during that entire conversation Angle didn't even spare a glance at Raji..as if she doesn't exist there...

"Am I suddenly switched to invisible mode?nejamaave ava kannukku naan theriyalaiyaa?"

Raji wondered in mind..and watched them disappearing inside the canteen with her mouth agape..
