Episode 12

Sia left the others and went into the first bedroom; she didn't think that Akshat would nominate her but of course she was being stupid, it was mostly her fault that Lavanya was evicted.

Zain came into the room and saw Sia crying he walked over to her and hugged her; she leaned her head against his shoulder and cried silently.

"Hey don't forget you're not the target...I am..." he whispered to her.

"That's still not fair..." Sia replied through sobs.

"We will fight for the Veto okay...you won't go this week...I promise you..." he said looking deeply into her eyes.

In the living room

Akshat was really happy; he was dancing around the room letting everyone know exactly how he felt.

Rey couldn't stand the sight of his actions; he stood up and walked away; Tej noticed his expression and followed Rey outside.

"He's really crazy..." Tej said to Rey who took a deep breath.

"Yeah he is..." Rey agreed, he had warned Akshat not to overreact.

"If he's not careful he's going to become the target" Tej carried on and Rey quietly agreed.

Everyone had had enough of Akshat's enthusiasm and went about their own way. Sanaya and Sami hung out in the garden lounge.

"I hate Akshat...he's being so mean...look at the way he's behaving..." Sanaya made a face in Akshat's direction making Sami also turn to witness Akshat hanging out with Jey and Purvi.

"He's just over reacting...forget about him..." Sami said calmly; not wanting to say anything about Akshat as he was an alliance member; but Akshat was really over doing it and he can see that some of the other alliance members did not like it either.

Purvi went into the garden and noticed the four boys sitting together Sami, Ayaan, Jey and Rey they seemed to be talking about something serious. She sat on the bench and her eyes once again travelled over to the group of boys and for the first time her mind was working over time.

"I'm not just seeing things..." she thought to herself, "...these guys are planning something..." suddenly a thought clicked in her mind and she was very sure she was thinking in the right direction; "...they're in a group...an alliance...why didn't Jey tell me..."

She turned her face away from the guys as her eyes welled up with tears as another thought struck her; "...I could've gone in the very first week...but I was saved by majority of the votes...did Jey tell the guys to vote for me...?" She shook her head not wanting to think any more; "I'll just have to ask him..."

She looked back in their direction at the same time as Jey looked up and they looked at each other...

Later on

Akshat came out from the diary room shouting to all the contestants.

"Let's gather in the living room...it's time to pick players for the Veto Competition," Akshat said excitedly.

All of the houseguests gathered in the living room and Akshat stood at the head of the table; "It is time to pick players for the Veto Competition...the winner of the Power Of Veto will be able to keep the nominations the same or upset the balance of the house by saving themselves or their chosen contestants, forcing the Head Of Household to choose a replacement nominee..." Akshat informed everyone.

"Can the nominees please join me?" Akshat ordered, Zain and Sia stood up joined Akshat at the front.

"As the Head of Household I will pick two houseguest to take part in the competition along with us..." Akshat continued; he placed his hand in a bag to pull out the names.

"Asad...and...Maya..." Akshat said as he pulled out their names.

"Big Brother will inform us when it is time for the Veto Competition..." Akshat dispersed the meeting and everyone wished the chosen contestants good luck.

The contestants got ready and entered the activity area which was set up like it was back in the past; with trees, bushes and dinosaurs. There were five sets of colored pieces one for each contestant.

"Welcome houseguest to the Power of Veto Competition...this task is called "Back to the Past"...each contestant has to build their 3d puzzle...the first contestant to finish and press their buzzer will be the winner of the Power of Veto..." The voice over head came to an end.

Each contestant stood in front of their puzzle pieces. The buzzer beeped and the contestants started putting their puzzle pieces together...Akshat and Asad was struggling a little with the pieces while Maya arranged hers and started putting the pieces together...

Ten minutes in Zain and Akshat was head to head half way through their puzzle with Maya and Sia catching up with their puzzle...all of the contestants were concentrating...every now and then the puzzle pieces would fall to the ground and the contestants would have to start again...

Twenty minutes in and Maya had caught up with Akshat and Zain the three of them fighting for the winning spot...Asad had tried putting his pieces together while Sia screamed out in frustration as her puzzle piece fell once again...Just then Akshat ran towards his buzzer and pressed the button...the buzzer went off signaling that Akshat was the winner of the Veto...

"Congratulations Akshat you are the winner of the Power of Veto..." the voice boomed...

Everyone ran towards Akshat and hugged him...Zain hugged Sia who was really upset...everyone then made their way back inside...

Akshat was super happy with winning the Power of Veto and everyone was soon tired of him winning everything...even his group who was happy he won...but they did not agree with the way Akshat was bulling Sia and Zain who stayed away from the group and spent time together...

Jey went into the garden in search of Purvi; he had noticed her watching the guys before and needed to talk to her, he needed to see where her mind was...he couldn't have her finding out about the secret alliance. He found her lounging on the sofa...he walked over to her...

"Hey...I've been looking for you..." he said as he approached her and sat down.

"Hey..." she replied looking away from him but her mind was having a conversation of its own; "...I should ask him...or maybe I'm just over thinking about it...maybe they were just hanging out..."

"What's up...you seem upset..." Jey asked disrupting her thoughts.

Purvi looked at him; "Are you in an alliance with those guys you were sitting with?" Purvi asked directly and she noticed the sudden change in Jey's expression but she waited for him to give her an answer.

"What?" he looked bewildered; "...No...of course not where did you get that idea..." Jey said trying to cover his tracks. He couldn't believe he was caught...what was he going to do...if Purvi tells the others...this is a big problem...

"Oh I just thought maybe..." Purvi said with her words trailing off but she saw it clearly in his face that he was lying...but she wasn't going to push it... if anyone was close to her in this house it was Jey...and right now she needed him more than he needed her...

"I'm going to get some rest okay..." Purvi got up and walked away.

Jey nodded but the moment she was out of sight he covered his face; "What am I going to do...she is definitely suspicious...I'll just have to make her believe that I am telling the truth..." he thought to himself.

POV Ceremony

"It's time for the Veto Ceremony..." Akshat informed the houseguests who were in the garden, everyone followed Akshat into the living room, and the houseguests sat on the couches while Sia and Zain sat on the chairs. Akshat stood up and walked to the front facing the houseguests.

"This is the Veto meeting...Sia and Zain have been nominated...but I have the Power to Veto one of the nominations...and I have decided not to use the Veto on any of the nominees...I just can't wait to see at least one of them out of the house...this Veto Ceremony is adjourned..." Everyone got up to meet Sia and Zain.

Tune in on Friday to see which of the nominated contestants is evicted and see how the power shifts when a new head of household is crowned...
