Both r in pain. ...but angel y kalpi not know about kamla n raghav past. ...what kamala did to raghav...I think she know about raghav pain ..loneliness. ..from childhood. ..

Kamla will tell Kalpi everything eventually and it will help her heal or accept him. Kalpi has not realised how much Ragav is hurting deep down. How much he loves her. She will and because he is hurting she will forget her hurt and focus on him. She will accept him with all his flaws and will be able
To forgive him. It doesn't make what he did right, but she loves him... So she will forgive him.

Wow as I said the idiot ruined it all!!!

He thought that he would never let her know of his real plan...and now he himself let her know that!

Poor Kalpi so wants to be happy but once bitten twice shy!

She now cannot take anything from Raghav at face value! There has to be some motive behind it!!!!

Interesting! Now how will Raghav improve the messed up relations. Will Maya help him or will it be the new entry Paakhi!

Is he gonna play up the jealousy card again this time knowingly since he had seen and felt how possessive Kalpi had become when she saw Raghav's lawyer!!!!

wow, read the last 3 chapters in one go and what an amaxing rollercoaster of emotions it has been.

too good Fuzz... you give such amazing, dramatic yet realistic scenarios.

Total mazaa... Love the intensity as always and of coz the amazing pain of love and regret.

As I started reading I knew I was to expect the worst... The confrontation has happened. ... He blurted out everything he wanted to hide from her... to lessen her pain, if he could. .

They are now in their worst stage of relationship , aren't they? Kalpi has lost all her trust , the final nail on the coffin being the marriage certificate, made to use her in his quest for revenge... a trump card for him to be played before discarding her ...

Now she knows everything. ... even that he has fallen for her... but is it enough???? No or so her heart says... She can't accept his love for fear of being hurt ... again... She knows she won't be able to bear it again if he uses her...

My heart goes out to Raghav. ... yes, I admit... It's him who have won in the constant war which was going in my heart... He has never experienced happiness till she came into his life... Yeah, he had planned to use her but then he didn't plan to fall for her... Whole life he had cared only for revenge... and so he became selfish... He knew she was innocent but then so was he... ...

He made love to her after falling for her, not to have revenge... It was only when Kamala came he planned to use it against her... and has died a thousand deaths since then... He has been crying for her ... feeling guilty for using her... and he doesn't have a family to turn to, unlike her...

It's beautiful Fuzz. ... the intense emotions are taking a toll on my mind too...

Sorry guys have not read comments... Will read as soon as I can. Update shall be slow... Please bear with me.

Chapter 33

Kalpi stops at the entrance of the chawl... Anxiety eating at her... Thinking, "how am I to tell aai and baba that I am married to Ragav? Does baba know about Ragav? Did aai tell him everything?" Embarrassed she wonders if her father is ashamed of her... If he is disappointed in her. Closing her eyes to compose herself, she whispers, "oh aai, I hope you didn't tell baba everything... Please Bappa, I hope baba does not know I slept with Ragav before marriage..." She stops and amends her whispered prayer to God, "... I mean, slept with Ragav."

Wiping her tears she walks to her home... Her feet getting heavier with each step... Dreading to tell her mum that the man who hates her... The man who wants to hurt her... Is her son in law!" Strengthening her heart, Kalpi says with determination, "he is not your husband... Stop thinking of him as your husband. He is the man who will go to all lengths to hurt your mother!"

Kalpi pauses by the door... Takes a deep breath before stepping into her home... Dreading the moment that had arrived... Sending a quick prayer, "Bappa please... I am not ready... Help..." Staring at the marriage certificate in her hands, Kalpi lowers her gaze as she walks slowly into the house... her gaze and body screaming with the tension vibrating within her... she calls out hesitantly, "aai..."

Kamla looks around their home with concern... Wondering where Kalpi is... She steps out of the house... Looking left and right... Smiles with relief when she spots her sitting by the stairs, staring into the night. Kamla walks up quietly and sits next to her. Sensing someone's presence, Kalpi turns to her left... Seeing her mum sitting next to her, she links her arms with her mother's and rests her head on her mother's shoulder. Both sit like this for some time, in amiable silence as they stare out into the dark night.

Without lifteing her head up from her mother's shoulder, Kalpi says, "aai, there is something I need to tell you." Kamla turns towards Kalpi, wondering why she stopped talking, reading the hesitation in Kalpis eyes, she smiles encouragingly, says, "go on beta, you can tell me anything."

Wanting to be strong for her mother... Kalpi says, "aai... Ragav... He..." She takes a deep breath and says, "aai, I am married. Ragav... Ragav and I are married... But don't worry aai, I refuse to accept this marriage..." Frowning when she does not see any reaction from Kamla maa, she says, "aai, I thought you would be shocked... That you would be uspset and angry... Instead you are so calm."

Kamla maa smiles sadly and asks in concern, "how did you find out beta?" Slightly aggravated, Kalpi reacts, "what do you mean how... You knew isn't it..." She takes a deep breath to calm herself and asks softly, "aai, how..." Taking her hand in hers, Kamla lifts her hand and kisses her palm, says, "your baba and I found out the night you met with your accident... We were at the hospital..." Kamla chokes emotionally as she recollects the nightmare of that night... Her baby lifeless on the stretcher.

Seeing the pain reflect in her mother's eyes, Kalpi misunderstands and says, "aai, I don't accept this marriage." Hugging her mother she says, "don't worry I am fine. This is good... For now I know how low Ragav can stoop." As she forcefully holds her tears at bay... Refusing to shed any more tears because of him."

Omg... Do you know how many times I ha e read your comment... Each time feeling Ragav's plight... I was so focused on Kalpi's pain that I forgot the depth of Ragav's pain. While hers is new and runs deep... His is old and runs much much deeper... Your post has changed the balance in my mind... Poor rags... I want to hug him and tell him to not give up... That Kalpi won't let him down... That she is his salve... Oh Kiarah... Mwah
