Maze Runner isn't really original :=)

This is the most common trope for Zombies existence. Some virus breaks out, loads of people die, fight zombies or live in some isolation... Loads of print and visual media exist and have existed since 1930s...
These stories vary in the way the characters act, react and behave. You have something as drastic as Walking Dead and Resident Evil to "The Stand". From science fiction to total drama.

I am totally using the trope to tell my story.

Gosh...it's brutal, terrifying, deceptive...How does one decide what is right or wrong in such a situation. People you know, you are fond of...turning into monsters... Living with such uncertainty must be so disturbing.

I haven't read a lot of zombie related works. But to think you're writing a drabble series based on 'Zombie Apocalypse' is amusing as well as amazing... Hats off to you! 👏😃

Zombies? Seriously? I think my 11 year old is gonna want to read this now - haha. I personally was never a fan of them but an arnav zombie, hmm I have to think about that. So definitely somewhere somehow an experiment went wrong. I always blame mankind for the ill that comes their way due to greediness. For some reason, we are never satisfied. We are gonna have a gun blazing arnav and Kushi now or is one going to be forced to shoot the other because of the disease. Or is one gonna cure the other one because miraculously their hair would still be human la Warm Bodies teenage movie? Bring it on . . .

11. Jab we met

They hadn't promised to come for each other or meet. It was a soliloquy of a hopeful dream.

The small piece of paper crumpled with use. The content on the piece of paper was etched in her memory. She didn't really need it. But she sure wanted it. It was representative of a time when the complication could have only be something trivial like economic or social status. Now - a fond memory.

The knock on the door surprised them.

"It's me." A voice said.

"Zombie?" She asked, picking the long knife.

"Arnav." There was laughter in his voice.

She grinned.
