That's one Zombie virus. 😲 Was it byproduct of some lab experiment or intentionally developed? Or a very angry nature?

And here we were thinking of Tsunamis and Earthquakes. 😆

PS: I remember reading one of your comments in a previous story, Arnav and Khushi going about shooting Zombies while having an easy conversation. 😳

My god now what's going to happen?

Is our arnav and Khushi going to turn into zombies or they are going fight them together.

All these reminds me of movie I watch named Warm Bodies.

@bold: Way to ruin a perfectly edible pair of eyes. 😆 Though I'd want to use Bromide with Khushi as a Chemistry lab assistant in the fiction.

Now it's a zombie apocalypse. You keep revealing new informations that change our understanding of the story. You remind me of nested loops.

I don't think zombie is the right term for the victims of the disease. If the so called victims are shot, they would die but that's not the case with the zombies.

(My knowledge is from all the scientific movies that I have watched)

But there is a disease with the same symptoms and also the brain-not-in control. Encephalitis.

This is like travelling with a guide who keeps pointing and showing places which were never in the map.

I am really curious about the destination.

Posting part 2 of the update now. I didn't expect comments to come so soon, to be honest.

Also: Encephalitis is a brain inflammation caused by virus or bacteria or autoimmune. It doesn't mean brain isn't in control. It means brain is losing its ability to function. The symptoms occurs because the brain cannot do what its supposed to do not because the bacteria / virus is making the brain to do unpleasant things. See the difference?

Its treatable to an extent via extensive surgeries. They don't go and bite non-infected people. They have various other problems and it depends on extent of infection. This disease attacks limbic system which means the patient cannot actually move as there would be a stroke or deterioration of the system as a whole.

Also, one doesn't simply wake up with this.

Zombies in popular culture for most part are dead depending on what franchise you are looking at. Its corpse taken over by virus / bacteria / whatever that cannot control degeneration of the body as its organic. I am taking a different route for the same phenomenon.

Oh, zombies do die by bullets or fire or specific chemical. Again, depends on which franchise you are looking at.

10. The second wave -2

Arnav watched it happen firsthand.

Aman had walked in with bloodshot eyes, labored breathing and complaining of headache.

He pushed a loaded gun into Arnav's hands and held his eyes. "Kill me before I hurt anyone," he had said. It was also the last thing he ever said.

Within an hour, his breathing became erratic. Minutes later both his heart and lungs completely stopped. Aman convulsed violently which was an indication of parasite taking over his body. All the bone joints cackled in tandem. When he opened his eyes, Aman that Arnav knew was now gone.

Arnav pulled the trigger.

Hi...I am a very very silent reader but i am so fascinated with your writings that i felt like commenting :) I wonder how can someone be so good with words, setting up plots, changing them half way through n yet keeping it very interesting! i have read almost all of your stories and you have done justice to myriad of genres you write in. When i read you awesome writers i keep thinking what should one do to have such amazing command over language, knowledge n understanding of different fields...
Keep up the awesome work!
N may i hope you going back to 'sillage' one day n complete it?
