Episode 7
Armaan Malik was standing on the stage as the lights softened...
"With one of the secret alliance members up for nomination, and with Lavanya another strong contestant up, let's see who will be evicted from the house tonight..." Armaan announced.
The audience cheered and clapped as he smiled at them.
"Let's go into the house and see how everyone is doing..." Armaan informed the audience.
The houseguests were seated on the couches while Akshat and Lavanya sat on the chairs, Armaan appeared on the screen and they welcomed him with smiles on their faces.
"Hello houseguests..." Armaan greeted them, they all replied enthusiastically.
"What a week it's been...Lavanya you have some fire in you!!!" Armaan stated.
Lavanya laughed as she thought back to how she had stood up to Sia after the nomination ceremony.
"Sia is no different, I thought we were going to witness a cat fight...luckily the other houseguests separated the pair of you in time..." Armaan teased; "...today we have a special caller who would like to ask the houseguest questions..." Armaan continued; the contestants sat up excitedly...
The phone rang and a voice came from the other end.
"Hello Armaan..." littleman said excitedly.
"Hey littleman...who would you like to ask your question to?" Armaan asked.
"I have a question for Sia..." littleman said; Sia sat up with a smile on her face.
"Hi littleman..." Sia smiled happily.
"Hi Sia...I wanted to know...you hang around with Zain but you have a soft spot for Akshat...can you make up your mind who you want to favour...or are you just jealous of Lavanya because Akshat gives her more attention..." littleman quizzed.
Lavanya started to laugh but it turned into a cough; the other contestants were also smiling as well as Armaan.
"Wow that's an amazing question..." Armaan smiled "Sia?"
"Hey littleman thanks for your question...firstly I would like to say Akshat has been my friend from the first week...so of course I have a soft spot for him..." Sia explained.
Akshat shared a look with Rey.
"As for Zain...he is also my friend but I feel like I am closer to him now than I am with Akshat...so if anything I will favour him..." Zain smiled. Akshat refused to look at Sia while she talked instead he looked bored.
"As for me being jealous of Lavanya...there is nothing to be jealous about..." Sia stated confidently.
"Sure...babe whatever you say..." Lavanya said with a smirk on her face.
"I'm sorry was I talking to you...?" Sia challenged her; "Don't call me babe..."
"Come on Sia...you have been totally jealous of me since me and Akshat have been hanging out..." Lavanya continued to poke her.
"Please do not give yourself so much importance...and anyway look at where you're sitting and where I am...you're on your way out..." Sia sat back signaling the end of conversation.
"Sure I am...but if anyone in this room knows any better you will be following," Lavanya replied.
"Okay ladies..." Armaan brought the argument to an end; "littleman thank you very much for your question..."
"Thank you...bye!" littleman signed off.
Everyone was silent and the tension in the air was noticeable until Armaan lightened things up for them.
"Maya and Ayaan...let's have a rematch...Ayaan is saying he let you win..." Armaan challenged.
"Oh really..." Maya turned to him.
Everyone cheered them on as they agreed and both rested their arms on the table, Ayaan won within a couple of seconds.
"Aww you're still stronger Maya...I'll be back in a bit for the voting..." Armaan informed them; the screen went blank as he turned back to the audience with a sly grin.
"Let's take a look at what happened after the Veto ceremony...;" turning from the audience back to the big screen.
Lavanya had walked away from everyone and made her way into the garden; tears falling from her eyes. Rashi had followed and tapped her on her back...
Everyone went their separate ways. Tej, Maya and Asad met in the chill out room.
"I can't believe he did that" Maya looked shocked.
"So much for calling Rey a coward...he also nominated a girl..." Asad said.
"Exactly..." Tej replied shaking his head in disappointment.
Akshat made his way to the garden and over to Lavanya who was sitting alone on a bench; he sat down beside her placing a hand on her shoulder which made her turn to face him tearfully; he hugged her and tried to comfort her by rubbing her arms gently.
On the other side of the garden sat Jey and Purvi on the couch; they looked over at Akshat and Lavanya; Purvi sighed deeply and turned to Jey with a sad look.
"That's so sad..." Purvi sighed again.
"I know...honestly I think Zain's whole Head of Household week had just been Sia's week...she needs to leave..." Jey continued; he was fuming inside because Akshat was part of the group and they needed him in the game.
In the HOH room Sia, Kruttika, Sanaya and Zain were hanging out together.
"Well I don't care what anyone says...she deserves it...she should have thought what the repercussion would have been..." Sia scoffed.
"Honestly I hate them both...I don't care which one leaves..." Zain replied lying on the bed.
The three girls shared a look but none said a word...
In the bedroom Rey and Ayaan were hanging out, talking about the other three guys getting involved with girls.
"These boys need to get their head in the game," Ayaan said.
"You're right it's messing up our game..." Rey replied a bit angrily.
Back to the stage Armaan made his announcement; "Let's get back into the house and start the voting..."
"Houseguests...it's time for the voting to begin...please cast your votes to evict...starting with Purvi...please enter the diary room."
Purvi nominated Lavanya.
Rashi nominated Akshat.
Ayaan nominated Lavanya.
Kruttika nominated Lavanya.
Sia nominated Lavanya.
Tej nominated Akshat.
Sanaya nominated Lavanya.
Jey nominated Lavanya.
Sami nominated Lavanya.
Rey nominated Lavanya.
Maya nominated Akshat.
Asad nominated Lavanya.
Asad made his way back into the living room,
"With seven votes to three...Lavanya you are evicted from the house..."
Lavanya got up with a smile and hugged Akshat. She then met everyone else with a smile but when Sia came to meet her Lavanya picked up her bag, said bye to everyone and left the house not looking at Sia.
The houseguest gathered around the wall where the contestants' pictures were and they all waited until Lavanya's picture went grey;
they all tapped Akshat on the back, congratulating him as well as sharing their condolence as they knew he was close to Lavanya. Sia walked up to him, he didn't look at her but said; "The game is on..." he then pushed past her and glared at Zain who was watching Sia.
Lavanya came onto the stage with a bright smile. Armaan greeted and hugged her before they sat down on two chairs and Armaan waited until Lavanya caught her breath before talking.
"Wow...how are you feeling...?" Armaan questioned.
"That was intense..." Lavanya laughed.
"Yeah it was...so tell me...at the beginning of the week did you think you would be sitting here?" Armaan asked.
"No...Not at all...everything happened so fast...it was crazy" Lavanya answered.
"What happened? ...What changed?" Armaan questioned.
"I don't know...I mean...I guess when Zain nominated Akshat and I saw Sia face,...it made me so mad...you know..." Lavanya replied.
"Well there is a little secret Akshat might have forgotten to mention while you were in the house..." Armaan informed her cheekily.
"Really? What secret?" Lavanya asked curiously.
"Akshat was part of a secret alliance made in the house..." Armaan informed her.
"No way...what?" Lavanya looked shocked.
"Yeah and the others in his alliance are Rey, Sami, Ayaan and Jey..." Armaan informed her.
"Oh my gosh...seriously?" She laughed.
He nodded; "Okay Lavanya in the event that you were evicted tonight, the houseguests taped some goodbye messages...let's watch..."
Sia - "Hey Lavanya just wanted to say you messed with the wrong girl and now you're out...just goes to show whose better..." Lavanya rolled her eyes as Sia's voice ended.
Akshat - "Hey I'm sorry you had to leave...I'm going to miss having you around...and don't worry I'm not going to rest until I get those two clowns out of this house...I'll see you outside..." Lavanya had tears in her eyes but a smile on her lips hearing Akshat's voice.
Zain - "Lavanya...I have to say you brought this on yourself...you were never my target...all the best."
Maya - "Hey Lavanya I'm going to miss having you around, you were so funny and we have to meet up outside okay...love you."
The recordings came to an end and Lavanya smiled at Armaan.
"Thank you Lavanya for coming on the show...you will be missed...take care...everyone put your hands together for Lavanya Kashyap!" Armaan met Lavanya as the audience cheered her on while she exited the stage.
Armaan turned back to the audience once again; "Let's head to the activity area to see who will become the next head of household."
The activity area was set up with thirteen cubicles; each contestant took their space in the cubicle with their names on them and looked around; in front of them they had a rectangular box with two buttons T and F; True and False.
"Houseguest...the power is up for grabs...Zain, as outgoing head of household you are not eligible to compete...overnight you all had a chance to witness deliveries being made to the backyard, via the big brother express...which is why this competition is called 'Overnight Deliveries'...here is how it works...Big Bother will read you a series of statements based on the deliveries that were made...if you get the statement right you stay in the game...if you get it wrong you are eliminated...the last houseguests standing is the new head of household...does everyone understand?" Armaan asked and everyone replied with a 'yes'.
