PART 5 - HIS SECRETARY

Next day was my college.. I thanked my stars when i dint glimpse him..early morning leaving my house.. yesterday night..was such a troublesome one.. My stomach was flipping...every time my mind replayed his words...

I had to shun myself...from his thoughts.. he seemed wrecked...! I wasn't interested to complicate my life...more ..

I sat on my usual seat...in the class...and opened my book.. when two hands..curbed my eyes from behind..

" guess...who??"

I smiled..faintly touching his hands...

" rohan..." i exclaimed in joy...and flipped ..embracing him tightly..

" i missed u i missed u ..." I ranted clutching his jacket..

" i missed u too..sweetheart..." he uttered smiling...and patted my head..

We parted...from each other when the professor arrived..

My whole day was awesome...I missed rohan a lot..he was my boy..!!! mine and his relationship..was rocking...

"hahahahaa...are u serious?" he said in between his laughs..holding his stomach.. I smacked his shoulder as sat down...in the cafeteria..

" u mean..in almost two weeks...u r already in love??" He gasped..making his eyes big..

I choked on my coke..and spitted it out wiping my lip..

" are u crazyyy..u stupid...dog dare u say that.." I warned him...swearing and punched him again..

" sorry..sorry easy girl..." he giggled... ah i hate his giggle...So girly!!

" okay on a serious note..u got a strong fatal attraction my dear..to ur hot and sexy neighbour..." he implied...wrapping his hand around my shoulder..

I bit my lip..nodding my head and snuggled closer..

" btw..where is dev..i dint see him.."

His words ..bought dev's incident back.. I gulped..down..nervously..and told him everything..

" oh..shit geet...dont worry..m dere with u..ill handle it..okay..when will they call..u??"

" princi told maybe next week...m just so scared...rohan..what if he comes...in the school..to threaten me..'

" geeettt,," he said in a high voice framing my face...

" nothing will happen..dev is our frnd..m sure..we can do something..and I m there with u in school...'

I nodded fearfully..

" and..u have ur KNIGHT back at home..to save u..so nothing to worry..baby.." he winked at me..smiling

I hit his chest...and hugged him...

Later..rohan dropped me home... I climbed down his car..giggling.. i kissed his cheek...waving him bye...

He waved back..and drove..off...

I sighed turning...back...to find my mom..all red in anger.. She clasped my hand..and dragged me inside..

" momm...whats the matter..mom.." i repeated ..trying to pull my hand..But she dint pay a heed to my words

" who was that guy??" She bit out...glowering at me..and bolted the door..

I knotted my brows...staring her confusingly...and then..smiled sadly... My dear mom..wasnt even known to my best frnd!!!

" that was rohan..." I answered...nonchalantly

" who is rohan??" She seemed so livid ..

I smirked... at her...stepping closer.. " he is my only frnd...whom i have been since last 10 years mom...ad apparently u noticed it now.. " I mocked at her... wasn't she suppose to knw at least my best frnds??? Cmon i had just ONE NEST FRND...and he was so close to me... mum knws sanjana's frnds..all of them..then y not mine...

" don't back answer me... look at u..ur 23 yet we r paying for ur expenses... I make dinner for u...i do everything..but u... Forget appreciating me..u ignore my presence geet..."

I fisted my both hands..controlling the urge to snap back and answer her..

" what do u want mom..." I knew.. either she had to ask or command something..dats y..she was even talking to me...

" look geet..ur father's income is not sufficient...to run this house...all four of us have good amount of spending.. Sanjaana is earning..she is..shouldering all the responsibilities like a son... U do ur part as well..'

I inwardly laughed... Sanjana did earn but she spent everything on herself.. I was aware of that...Mom thought she could fool me.. Shouldering responsibilities...yaa.. She could only take her own responsibility...

" fine..let me what to do..."

She looked at me...calmly and replied.." take up a job...part time job..and start earning..."

I sighed... in response and nodded... " fine i will...now let me go..." i muttered and...started walking but She grabbed my hand..

" u need a job now..geet.." She gritted glaring me

" what???now..mom i need to prepare...getting a job is not easy..."

She smirked...at me.. " i've already got u a job..geet.."

Just what i dint need...a job..that too mom's choice... i knew it must be something horrible..

" what kind of job??" i asked her..

She recoiled her hands..smiling.. " i secretary job...geet...assistance..u knw..."

" and they selected me without my interview??" i exclaimed..in awe

She nodded..proudly...

" really mom???" I guess she got me a job at mental hospital...perhaps!

" u r going to work..for the khurana's geet...for MAAN KHUARNA..."

My eyes widened in reflex while..hands grew cold..

" khuranaaas?????"

" yes...savitri ji..is ready to make u his grandson's pa...and u knw..u can work part time...dont bother about that..ull be staring next week..." She announced ..and walked past me..

" wait...mom...I..i m not working there..' i retorted...immediately after regaining my senses..

" i m not asking u ..geet i m telling u..i dint ask for ur opinion..ull work there and thats my order..'

" but..mom..u.."

" no geet i don't intent to hear any of ur excuses...plz..just go.." she cut me off..and climbed upstairs..

I made a baby crying face..and closed my eyes..in helplessness..
