Agony in motion

He waits in the hospital lobby when broken sobs escape through the crevices. Anjali's devastation resonates through the luxury suit, clenching his heart. Everyone in his family lost someone that day and he hurries away.

He watches a girl dichotomize and she lifts her head up to meet his eyes.

Her yellow kurta was spotted with undried blood as she hurried next to a speeding gurney. Female, 21, wrist laceration... She skips around the drops of blood that drips from Payal's arm. She collapses in exhaustion.

A tether makes her look up to see a pair of agonized cinnamon eyes.

This reminds me of an exercise my grade school teacher used to make us repeat over and over - the art of summarizing. As kids we were going around in circles saying the same things over and over to try to add words to the essay assignment and he got tired of it. This is what a picture is meant to do right? To the point and the whole gamut of expressions are captured in 100 words.

This one painted a great picture that you are not the only one grieving and that others may be in worse situations that you. (Anjali has lost someone but Kushi may lose her sister).

superb.. i am loving it.. 100 words but the pain brought with these is lots more than 1000 words..
