Asha Negi, who is currently seen in reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, is set to return to the fiction genre with a serial on Star Plus.
Her last fiction show was Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, which ended in September, 2014. She will be paired opposite Karan Sharma in the new show, which is Hindi remake of popular Bengali show Ishti Kutum. It will also feature actress Wasna Ahmed as a tribal girl. Says a source associated with the show, "Karan will play a photojournalist and Asha, his girlfriend. However, he will be forced to marry Wasna during an assignment in a remote area."
Interestingly, this is the third time Asha and Karan will be seen together in a show after Sapno Se Bhare Naina and Pavitra Rishta.Asha didn't revert to our text message.
