MARRIED AGAIN
PART 1
The day has turned out to be the most unexpected turn of two lives.. it was not they have thought but some things we ought to do for others and this thing was amongst it.. This was a marriage of convenience for both of them.. geet was in a deep thought when the door of her opened .. she looked above and saw him waiting for her to step down..they were at the entrance of her new home .. but was this really her home she questioned herself.. this was house which she needs to make home she justified herself .. though she was newly married but there wasn't any feelings that she could relate to this marriage .. she was a matured women , earning well but at this moment of time her family had made her tie in a relationship that she deeply needs to understand or it is going to be complicated for her as well as for her new family ..
Geet entered the new place it was big .. no you can call it huge there was a big portico , a big garden which was maintained well she couldn't help herself the flowers that were there and appearing so bright that they were congratulating her .. geet entered the house that was KHURANA MANSION as she read from the plate that was nicely describing the grandeur of her new husband..
She was welcomed , there were only two persons , her mother in law and father in law whom she met once and there was a girl that was standing aloof like her looking her or acknowledging her presence..
She must be pari.. her daughter
Innocent with dark colored eyes , her eyes met her and she smiled just like pari did or she actually reciprocated the first sign of warmth that pari had given to her .. just after some seconds pari left the hall and walked upstairs.. her eyes searched for her son too .. she was a mother of a grown up son and a pretty daughter ..
Maan on the other side was bonded in a forced relationship and he knew that he can't have now any kind of second thought about this.. they had a simple registered marriage where his parents and her family was only present , he made her familiar with the place and left ..
She too knew his condition and his acceptance , he was too silent and she knew that they are married at the age where society doesn't accept this easily and that was the reason she too had dropped the thought of getting married years back.. but the last conversation of her with her brother made her realize that she too needed someone for herself not just for the sake of any emotional or physical desires but the support that only a life partner can provide by standing with you at the thick and thins of life .
TWO MONTHS BACK
Geet had came back after the tiring day at the office and she was relaxing in her room ..it was some time after the dinner when her brother akash came to her room ..there was a eight years difference between them ..geet was doing some official work when she noticed akash who came with a cup of coffee..he gave her the coffee and geet knew that he must be there for some important work ..she closed her file and asked him to sit.. he sat beside her and took her hand in his hands and for the first time he asked her something for that he was fearing her reaction..
Akash : di , I want to say to something.. Please listen to me once then you can decide.. di I want yo u to get married ... I want you to settle too .. di please get married..
Geet : akash you know that it is not possible now .. she just said and was about to resume her work when akash hold her hand and make her look at him..
Akash : why di .. its possible don't you want to have your own family ..
Geet retorted back , trying to make him understand..
Geet : you are family.. your family , rajji is there akash and I am really happy with this ..
Akash : di but we are not.. his words made geet stunned.. and akash continued..
Akash : I want you to have have a family of your own.. di we are always there for you but we can't fulfil the need of a companion.. di you have sacrificed a lot for us.. after papa left us you continued with your studies and supported us with ma.. me and rajji can't even get to the place what you did geet di.. but do you think that rajji or I can do the things your own family can do.. and why are you denying I want to see my sister well settled ..
Geet : but its too late now akash .. geet just replied this was not she expected ..when she should have married that time her family needed her and she wasn't selfish of leaving them alone , if she wouldn't have done than who.. she was the eldest child of the family and she just fulfilled her responsibility ..maybe doing all the thing she forget her life but that was worthy .. that time gave her sister and her brother a peaceful life.. rajji is well settled with her husband and akash with his wife and two children what more does she want ..
Thinking on a single way she doesn't thought of herself and the need that her brother recognized.. though he had been late in making his attempt but he can't be selfish to still not make her agree to get married..
ON THE OTHER HAND
Situations were never same for maan..its been twelve years since his wife left him alone .. it was after twelve years he was forcefully made tied in a relation that was difficult for him to accept he was used to himself and his life , but now this new life , new relation will made everything complicated he knew .. maan couldn't forget the heated argument he had with his mother few days beck..
Maan had came from his business trip and was alone on the dining table for the lunch since he was tired to think of the work anymore .. it was a hectic schedule he followed and wanted a break from all this.. he was peacefully having lunch..it was still time for pari to come from school.. and parth was in his college .. he keeps tabs on his children activity ..
It was about after an hour when his parents came to his study where he was relaxing doing some work along ..
Naina : maan I want to take a decision now..she asked ..maan was having no clue what she was asking as far as he knew there was nothing he was asked to do..
Maan : mom what are you saying..
Naina : you need to get settle maan ..
Maan ignoring her talks..
Maan : we are done with this year's back mom and why are you saying it now ..
This time raj interfered and maan was made look at his parents with a questioning look..
Raj : your mom is right
Maan : dad please .. what you two are saying .. I am already married and for god sake my children are matured enough ..
Naina : your children are much more matured maan but you need someone .. maan had enough he was not getting why this sudden discussion was going on when he was over with this remarriage years back .there is no point of this now.. for god sake his son will get married in some years and his mother wants him to get married..
Maan : mom please I am capable enough to take care of myself and so do my children .. they don't need anyone in their life neither me..and I take good care of them.. I am enough for them
Naina retorted this time making maan to know what he much have missed ..
Naina : when was the last time you even talked with pari or had known that parth had an accident .. do you know that pari is getting low grades continuously.. how will you know maan.. out of 365 days 300 days you are on business tours and the rest 65 days you are engrossed in your office.. but don't worry me and your dad are there for pari and parth ..
Maan : so does that mean that I will bring a nanny for my children..
Naina : your children doesn't need a mother but you need a wife maan.. last time when did you have dinner with both of them .. do you even know .. pari never says coz she knows that her father will get disturbed .. but that doesn't mean that you will continue this robotic life style of yours ...
Naina : you are not getting now maan..but what will you do once pari and parth will get settled and we .. she pointed at her husnabd.. do you think that your parents will stay with you forever ...
Naina left forcing maan to think.. it was like he was having no other option..if not for him but for his family he needed someone ...
