Chapter 40

"What do you mean?" he asked, turning around to face her. "What do you mean by can't even recognize?"

"I mean... I mean her name is Sanu and you can't even recognize that it sounds so similar to my name!" she said quickly.

"Don't interfere Sanyukta," he told her angrily. "Don't even try and come into my married life. Stay out of it."

"Fine. Get out of my house!" she screamed, pulling her shirt on. Luckily it was long enough to cover her thighs.

She walked up to him and started to push him out of her room.

He grabbed her wrists and pinned them behind her before leaning dangerously close to her.

"I will get out of your house, and trust me, I don't want to even see your face again," he snarled angrily.

Her heart pounded inside of her ribcage as she said the next words.

"Get the f**k out," she said, a darkness in her own eyes.

"I am f**king leaving," he snapped, and let go of her arms, before turning around and storming out of the door.

He went home, in a bad mood, not sure what was going on... he had gone to Sanyukta's place to clear his confusion. Now his confusion was clear alright.

He didn't want to have anything to do with Sanyukta Agarwal anymore.

Chapter 41

Randhir texted Sanu at home the same night: I can't wait to marry you

Sanu replied instantly: Counting down the days ; )

Randhir responded: I went to Sanyukta's place today...

Sanu replied: Why?

Randhir wrote: To agree to be at peace with our past... I asked her to be my friend.

She replied: Why do you want to be her friend? I don't want you to talk to her... she sounds like bad news...

Randhir got defensive when she said that. How could Sanu even say that about Sanyukta when she didn't even know her?

He replied: But Sanu... she's not a bad person.

She responded: She sounds like she would be a threat to us Randhir... what if she still loves you and wants you back? Would you go back to her?

Randhir wrote: No of course not... you're the only one in my life Sanu...

She replied: Do you still have feelings for her?

He responded: No. Just for you.

She replied: Ok... good... did she try anything when you met her?

He replied: Meaning?

She wrote: Meaning... try to get you back or touch you?

He replied: No... but the way you touched me hasn't left my mind... ; )

She wrote back: Haha ok we can have a repeat on our wedding night ; ) Good night now Randhir... it's late... sleep and time will pass faster too.

He responded: Good night ; )

Then he set the phone down and sighed, closing his eyes, wondering what the hell he was doing with his life.

Chapter 42

Randhir was crying. Tears were flowing down his cheeks. His wedding was supposed to take place the next afternoon.

"What is happening?" he sobbed, "How can I... what's going on? I can't... I can't do this?"

He had a bottle of whiskey out and a glass. Parth tried calling him all night, but Randhir kept on ending his calls, not in the mood to hear anyone today.

Randhir already wasn't in the state of mind to talk to anyone.

"S - Sanyukta... I love Sanyukta," he said to himself as he drank another glass of whiskey. He had lost count of how many he had drank.

He picked up his phone and searched for Sanyukta's number. He had deleted her number years ago... and now he didn't have it. He called the next person he could... Sanu...

It rang a few times. It was midnight.

"Hello?" the voice on the other end that resembled Sanyukta's greeted.

"Sanu," Randhir said, his voice broken. "Sanu... I love her."

"L - love her?" Sanu asked from the other end. "Randhir what are you talking about?"

"Sanu I love Sanyuktaaa," he slurred. "I am so drunk... sorry Sanu... I love Sanyukta... but I am going to marry you, I can't ditch you."

"Oh my... Randhir where are you?" she asked. "Are you alone?"

"H - home," Randhir said. "I'm at home."

"Okay I'm coming," she said from the other end of the line. "I hope you don't remember this in the morning."

"Huhhh... what is happening?" he asked, really intoxicated.

"Open the door for me, I'll be there in twenty minutes. Please don't pass out... actually, stay on the line," she told him, and he could hear her fumbling for something, something that sounded like keys.

"Am I breaking your heart Sanu? I'm sorry," he said to her. "I'm a bad person."

"Randhir please... don't drink anymore, do you have water?" she asked, sounding unaffected.

"No... where is water? Not at beach..." Randhir said innocently, as he heard the car start. "I will drink whiskey."

Then he hung up the phone as he heard her yell "No!"

"I am a bad person... I broke Sanu's heart," he said to himself and poured more whiskey in the glass.

Whi is RD torturing himself so much ,cant he just admit that no matter what Sanyukta is his past ,present and future and Bloody hell Sanyukta needs to clear all this mess she has got herself into ,i shudder to think what will be RD;s reaction if he finds out the truth

awesome update dear. it was one of d best update so far. rd is in totally in dilemma what's in his heart. he loves sanyu or not. n finally he recognize its only love nothing else. n he finally confesses to sanu tht he love sanyukta. but he is feeling for ditching her. he is blaming himself for sanu condition. dnt knw hw ll rd react after knowing d truth. plz update soon
