dhaamal promos to be reworked

According to a source, "There were big plans for an event in Mumbai and Delhi and the preparations were also complete but Dutt's sentencing changed it all. The dilemma for the makers now is how much of Dutt should be there in the promotions. Producers are also hoping that the sympathy wave for Sanjay Dutt will help the film's publicity as it has been noticed that Munna Bhai still has a huge fan following. Also, Dhamaal will be the first film of Sanjay Dutt after his sentencing."

Indra Kumar was not available for comment but his secretary Umesh informed us, "No film is planned and then promoted. We did not have any big plans but only a couple of events were being discussed. Nothing was finalized."

Umesh did accept that Sanjay was a big star of this film but added it will not affect their promotions. There were also reports that maximum of Dutt's footage will to be used in promos but Umesh denied it saying, "We are busy with the mixing work of the film and our promos will give equal importance to all the actors."

The film is being produced under the banner of Maruti International by Ashok Thakeria and Indra Kumar.
