India turns 60!
Its our 60th Independence Day... a secular occasion for all Indians…a day when we remember the unconditional sacrifices made by our brave Indian heroes. With the D-day round the corner, some of our telestars share their childhood memories, their plans for the day and what patriotism means to them.

Ronit Roy :
Fortunately I am not shooting that day so I will be quietly sitting at home and thinking of all those soldiers who have laid down their lives for the country. I will put Indian flags on my car and at home but will not play any patriotic songs since I am not too fond of them. Independence Day meant a lot to me during my childhood days. My mom used to make special food for me.This year, I will make sure that my daughter should know the importance of this day.

Patriotism: My country is my motherland. Patriotism makes me think of my own family So, the word somehow reminds me of my mother's unconditional love for me.

Message for the nation: I advise youngsters to achieve things which makes the nation proud of them. I wanted to join the army long time back but couldn't do so but all youngsters can still do that and make their country feel proud.
