Chapter Five
Sanu replied: I want to marry you too... actually I want to get it over with and this dating thing is too complicated for me... I wanted to choose one and stick.
Randhir smiled to himself, that quick brush of the hands had been the deciding factor for him.
Randhir wrote: Who is in your house?
Sanu replied: Just me... mom and dad don't talk to me anymore... and you?
Randhir wrote: Same... just me. My two friends Parth and Vidhushi are like the only family I have, but they only visit once in a while.
Sanu wrote: Okay Randhir, good night. I will sleep.
Randhir replied: Wait... Sanu, do you want to do the ceremonies or just get the marriage done with?
Sanu replied: Let's just go to the marriage...
Randhir finally concluded with: Good night Sanu... see you soon.
He put his phone on the side and lay down in his bed, a smile on his face, glad that his heart was finally calming down. Maybe she was the medicine he needed to get over Sanyukta... maybe she was his true love, and Sanyukta was just a lesson... maybe, Sanyukta was never part of his future, and it was always Sanu.
The next day, Randhir told Parth about his phone conversation with Sanu, and how he wanted to marry her. Parth smiled upon hearing this.
"Well Randhir, Sanu is a really nice girl. I've met her myself," he assured Randhir. "Trust me, she will keep you very, very, very happy. You won't be able to ask for better... she's perfect for you."
Randhir smiled positively at his friend, happy to hear good things about Sanu.
"I still don't know what she looks like Parth," Randhir told him. "But she has a really nice figure."
Randhir could only recall what she looked like from the back.
"She's really pretty Randhir, I think you'll find her hot, don't worry. Trust me, she is your type. In fact, very much your type... I don't think you'll be able to resist her even if you tried," Parth said with a wink.
"Even if I tried huh..." Randhir said, starting to dream.
He was already imagining what it would be like to remove that red kurti top she was wearing and start showering kisses on her shoulders and bare back. He shook his head to wake himself up... he couldn't start lusting after her when he barely even knew her, maybe that wasn't fair to her.
"Don't worry, you have your whole life to get to know her," Parth said with a reassuring smile, as if he read Randhir's mind. "Until then, you are allowed to enjoy what you can and focus on what you want."
"Alright Parth," Randhir said, slapping his back in a friendly manner. "I'm going to go to the mall. I want to get something for Sanu."
"Want me to come with you?" Parth asked.
"No. I want you to talk to the pandit and get a date fixed," Randhir said, wanting the space to look for something for his to-be wife on his own.
"Sure thing," Parth replied. "You have fun."
Little did Randhir know that Sanu was going to be at the same mall, and he would be bumping into her today, but he would recognize her as somebody else.
