TV's most popular show Kumkum Bhagya (Balaji Telefilms), which is doing pretty well on the TRP charts, is already entertaining the audience with lots of drama where Tanu (Leena Jumani) is trying her level best to create problems between Abhi and Pragya.
Now, the makers have decided to take the daily dose of entertainment level even higher with the introduction of Tanu's parents in the show. And for these characters known television faces Roma Navani and Bobby Khanna have been roped in.
Unaware about Tanu's real intention to separate Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) and Pragya (Sriti Jha), Tanu's mother will be seen forcing her daughter to get married and settle down in life.
When we contacted Roma, she confirmed the news and said, "At the beginning I was a bit hesitant to play the role as I am not much elder than Shabbir, but, later on I took it as a challenge and decided to play the character."
"Moreover, Kumkum Bhagya is a very popular show, so, it is always great to be associated with it. My character will neither be absolutely black nor white, rather it will have grey shades and will be very dominant," added the actor.
The current track is focusing on Lohri celebration, where the audience will witness that a jealous Alia (Shikha Singh) will trick Bulbul (Mrunal Thakur) to trip down and she will accidently catch fire, while performing certain rituals.
In this situation Purab (Arjit Taneja) will come to rescue his love and in process will burn his hand.
Well with the new track and characters we are sure that audience will love to see this high pitch drama.
