Bigg Boss 8: Upen-Karishma staged romance?

While their PDA on Bigg Boss has tongues wagging, our sources tell us that the alleged romance between Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna is a publicity stunt to boost sagging TRPs.

Those in the know claim that Upen had pre-planned the fictional romance with Karishma to coincide with his new release, Shankar's Tamil film I.

"It's a strategy meant to secure Upen and Karishma's place in the BB house till the finale and give them the footage' that the contestants try to attract with their aggressive behaviour. Upen and Karishma are playing the roles of lovebirds. In reality, Karishma and Upen are both seeing other people," our source claims.

However, Karishma, who was recently quizzed by RJ Malishka regarding her proximity to Upen, in a special interactive segment to be aired, said, "It is too early for us to call ourselves a couple but we like each other, in fact more than like each other. What I had outside the house did not feel complete. And since Upen has come into the house again, his positive energy makes me feel happy, complete. When I (think about) my feelings, it is only Upen's face that comes to me."
