Ruhi : Ishima kay Shagun Mumma meri real mumma hai? Aap Nahi? Kya Papa aapki jagah Shagun Mumma ko choose karenge?

Ruhi asks Ishita, Is Shagun my real mother? Are you not. Ishu is shocked to hear something like this from Ruhi. But the questions don't stop there as Ruhi asks Will Papa chose Shagun over you?

This is the latest on-air promo of Star Plus Popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and well it's a a brilliant promo. Ruhi's innocent worried eyes and her earnest questions will force Ishita to think and to realize that this is not a perfect world and no matter what and how much Ishita tries she can't always do right by everybody. If she wants to do right by her daughter she has to become a little selfish and probably hurt somebody in the process.

Ruhi's question "Kya Shagun mumma meri real mumma hai, aap nahi" is an excellent move by the writing and creative team!!!

Ofcourse Ruhi knows that Shagun is her real mom yet she asks this question. Why? because she has always been told that her Mom is Ishita, it's through Ishita she experienced what Mother's love, warmth and care is...So it's her fear that she is expressing when she is asking Ishita if she is not her real mom? Because to her that is the reality. Her family, the law and even her Ishima has always told Ruhi that Ishita is her mom Ruhi her bachcha and that Ishima and Ruhi will always be together.

With Adi hammering his thoughts in to Ruhi that Shagun-Raman-He and Ruhi are a family. That Ishita is an outsider and she has to go. It's only fair that Ruhi asks her Ishita if her father would chose Shagun over her Ishima. A very is a valid question by a 6 year old who has been fed that idea. Ruhi is a very bright child. Her outlook on various things (As seen in the show) and how her 6 year old mind works would put some of the grown-ups to shame. But there is a limit to what a 6 year old can take...and so her fears speak up.

I was immediately reminded of an earlier episode where Ruhi drew her family picture. Though she draws Adi in the picture she later erases it off. Then Raman draws the entire family excluding him she points out that the picture is incomplete as her Papa wasn't there.

For Ruhi her perfect family consists of only Raman, Ishita and herself. There is no Aditya and Shagun in it. With Adi now at the Bhalla house and him voicing his idea of the perfect family the little one feels a little alarmed. So she expresses her fear if there will ever come a time when Raman will have to chose?

Well there will come a time when Raman will have to chose and though both Ishita and Aditya (Shagun is of no relevance to him) are very much important in his life, Raman will be put through this test.

Ishita has promised Ruhi to always be with her, that they would always be a family...Will she live up to those promises now that life has thrown this challenge at her?

Raman too has promised Ruhi that nobody can separate Ruhi from her Ishima and also from himself but is life always that simple?

It should be interesting to see how things played out and now that the track is finally moving forward and at a good pace we can hope that Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is all set to conquer the hearts of it's viewers. AGAIN!

Brilliant Promo!!!!
