hey my lovely readers thanks a lot for your lovely response to my work

i love reading each and every comment glad that you all are liking my story

well i knew i am adding a lot of suspense element in the story with khushi's past, yes i am doing this to make story more interesting and very soon with lots of twist and turn i will give you khushi past which will be of one or two parts in itself

so stay tuned the story is going to turn more interesting with each part

#shahsair : keep on guessing with khushi past and yes khushi past is having some dark side but not that extreme for sure 😉 thanks for your replies keep on guessing

Part 7(A) on Page 66

PART 7 (B)

Khushi got busy in her work she had no time whole day just cause with her work she was doing sheetal part of work as well it was time they three were working on some project together arnav and armaan were busy with their files while khushi was sitting on other side and penning down whatever was been briefed to her

"so you have noted all the detail now add on that I need the work ready in 20 days and make it themed in blue color" said armaan

And as armaan was saying khushi was side by side making notes,

"no correction we need the work done in 10 days and I need the theme color as red" said arnav interrupting in the middle

"10 days arnav I think the work is bigger and its impossible for the company to complete it in 10 days they need 20 days , khushi you write 20" said armaan while khushi nodding again

"come on now ammy, that is not that a big task that they cant complete it in 10 days and I cant give them time more than this , you knew time is money so if they cant give our order in 10 days its better we end our deal with them so you write 10 days khushi" said arnav

"now this is completely rude arnav they need more time and moreover I think blue color would be perfect for this main dress so write 20 days and blue color" said armaan

"10 days and red color that's final you write that" said arnav

"arnav why don't you ever do what I say 20 days and blue color is final" said armaan irritated

"I don't understand that you are in favor of your own company or the others cut 20 and blue and make it 10 and red" said arnav irritated himself

"no khushi make it 20 and blue" said armaan

"stop , please stop you both my god are you really the two most successful and great team worker when you cant compromise on such a small argument" said khushi irritated it was heights for her to correct her notes every time

"one says 10 other says 20 one want blue other want red, why don't you both first decide yourself then call me again for briefing" said khushi being as much normal as she can

"there is nothing to decide in this I knew whatever I am saying is correct you do as I say" said armaan

"oh hello khushi don't forget I am your boss and you do what I am saying" said arnav

"I think I have a better idea look I don't want to be sandwiched in between this argument so its better I write 15 days not your none yours" said khushi irritated finally what kind of bosses she have

"well I think that's a better idea I can give 15 days with red color" said arnav

"yes 15 is fine but make it blue color not red" said armaan

"not again fine I am writing 15 days and wine color" said khushi

"now from where this wine color came in" said armaan

"so what else you both are not able to decide in blue and red so I mixed both little red and little blue that gives wine so I suppose both your choices came together" said khushi

"khushi I think you are forgetting who are the bosses here" said arnav

"i am sorry sir I was just trying to help" said khushi

"no arnav I think she have got a point I mean this suggestion is great mixing afterall fusion will be great some unusual and different colors moreover peoples also get bored with the same basic themes I like the idea" said armaan

"well if you feel so do whatever you want" said arnav

"what really, I mean so you really meant that then what exactly the whole argument all about since last half hour if you would have let armaan sir do what he wanted then this simple task would have ended ages ago" said khushi almost laughing out and even armaan cant stop himself from chuckling

"ha ha very funny enough of talking I think now we can work for sometime" said arnav irritated

"sure sir I will complete this file and hand over by evening" said khushi normally getting up and leaving

And as she left still armaan was laughing

"what ammy now will you stop giving this irritated smile" said arnav

"I am not smiling on you I am just happy that her attitude is changing towards us just in form of being friendly but this is a positive sign, I am happy to see her smiling" said armaan

With each passing day things were also changing little smiles teasing and jokes were becoming part of their daily routine now a day and khushi also don't stay that formal being with them , armaan and arnav together were too big kids and it was nice and enjoyable for anyone to see them together there silly chat irritating arguments but at the end they being together again it was funny at times and it was relief for armaan to watch her smiling with them

As for arnav it was surely getting tough for him to stay away from her now she being so near him and still he cant tell her what he feels for her , he cant hold her close to himself the way he want, he so wanted to hold her near himself her smile was the most beautiful part of her and whenever he saw her smiling with him he just feel embracing her close to him , in short he was falling madly in love with her and the bad thing was that he completely realize and understand this and over that the worse part was that he can never tell her that even if he wanted he just cant, whenever he is around her he tried to cover his feelings with her bossy nature he tried to behave rudely or else it would become tough for him to hide his real feelings

After few days one day

It was almost late evening khushi was still sitting in her cabin working on some paper work which arnav have asked her to complete almost whole office staff left armaan and arnav were also working on some project in their cabin

"can I come in sir" said khushi knocking the door

"khushi you are still here I think the whole staff have left" said armaan worried

"I knew sir I was just completing this work" said khushi handling the file to arnav

"that's ok khushi there are few other notes just help me complete this" said arnav still indulge in his laptop

"but sir its too late I meant" said khushi

"so what even we are working and we will drop you home safely lets just end with this work first its important" said arnav normally

"alright sir" said khushi taking the file and leaving back

"You can sit in this room and work moreover whole office is empty I don't want you to be scared" said arnav

"I am not scared of ... anyway forget it, I need to get my file and bag here" said khushi irritated with arnav all time sarcasms

"khushi if you are going out can you get one coffee for me" said armaan politely

"yes sure sir" said khushi smiling leaving the place

"arnav I hate you for doing this with her" said armaan

"ok if I talk with her politely and all lovely so that will be fine with you, then you will say that I am being a bit to close with her and maintain distance" said arnav

"that really wont mean that you stay so extreme rude with her" said armaan

"that's my problem ammy whatever I did I do to the extreme, either its ruling over, friendship, caring for someone or loving now can we work ahead or else you will be again complaining for making your dear gudiya working till so late" said arnav smiling

Khushi came back in the room with coffee,

One for armaan and she kept the other cup near arnav without his asking and she got back to complete her work, she was so busy and keenly working on the files typing on laptop and just completing her task unknown that arnav was now not working and just stealing glances as her again and again, he was just sipping his coffee and his all eyes were on her each move whatever she was doing arnav was so lost in her that he completely forgot that armaan was also working there in the same room and since past few minutes he was noticing all that quietly earlier he didn't noticed it seriously but then he was himself finding it suspicious the way arnav staring at khushi

Still noticing arnav he intentionally intervened in

"khushi" armaan called her loudly while noticing arnav just looking away the moment he heard him he started looking away and intentionally showing that he is working unknown that his each moment was being noticed

"yes armaan sir you need something" said khushi normally as armaan called her unknown of anything that was going in the room

"no nothing much I just need one file can you get it for me" said armaan behaving normal while khushi went in the file room

While arnav behaved as if he is still working

"hmm can I ask that what is happening here" said armaan standing near arnav

"what I am just working" said arnav

"arnav I don't knew what you think of me but I am not idiot nor I am that dump as much as you think of me so speak up whats going on in your mind and arnav don't try to defend I saw you staring at her" said armaan

"I really don't knew what you are talking about ammy let me complete my work" arnav just shrugging off the topic

"really arnav I think you are forgetting that we are best friends and I knew you really well in and out since childhood you cant hide or run away from any topic with me so just speak up" said armaan

"ammy actually the truth is I was" arnav was about to say ahead when they both got alert with khushi screaming voice

Here khushi was getting some file from the upper shelf when she got up on a little stool kept there but it got misbalanced and she slipped and fall down on the floor resulting in that screaming sound

Arnav and armaan got up worried and immediately rushed inside the room hearing her voice and found her sitting on the floor holding her right leg foot in pain

"khushi how did you fall down are you hurt" said armaan really worried sitting near her

"sir actually I was picking the file but maybe this stool misbalanced and I twisted my leg" said khushi in real pain this was really unbearable for her at that moment

"but what was the need for you to get up on that stupid stool" said arnav in anger but that was also his form of care

"arnav later" said armaan immediately "khushi come hold my hand try to get up, we need to check this maybe some first aid will be required" said armaan very protectively holding khushi both hands trying to make her stand

And khushi also applying all her power to stand in that condition but as she tried to put a little weight on her right foot she again fall back on floor with unbearable pain

"no sir I cant I cant stand I cant walk right now, just give me few minutes I will be fine" said khushi

"but we cant leave this, you need medical help" said armaan trying to make her stand again

"ammy just get aside" said arnav coming ahead irritated with their attempts and bending near khushi "relax khushi It will be alright" said arnav and getting forward for picking her up while khushi just brushed his hands off

"its really alright sir I am fine I will manage" said khushi getting really unconscious

While arnav is arnav as if he cared to listed to her ever

"that I can see how nice you both can handle it" said arnav sarcastically and without caring of her struggle or consciousness he picked her up in his arms and moving out in the cabin making her sit on the sofa while armaan also just cant say much in this situation cause his initial though were to treat khushi

"I will just get the first aid" said armaan in panic

"no sir that is not required I don't have any external wound maybe its just a muscle pull or sprain" said khushi

"let me check" said arnav sitting on his foot and checking her foot while khushi immediately pulling her legs back

"no sir please no need for anything it will pain more" said khushi

"nothing will happen khushi just let me check once" said arnav trying to hold her foot

"no sir please no it will pain more" said khushi crying in pain

"comeon now khushi stop behaving like a kid" said arnav commanding and very carefully checking her foot it was completely twisted and he holding her foot in both hands and making it positioned back which khushi immediately pulled back

"what are you doing no it will pain" said khushi

"its twisted khushi I will just position it back, it will take just a minute trust me it will be fine" said arnav

"no please I knew what it is , I am fine like this I cant bear the pain please don't touch me please stay away alright" said khushi warning still in real fear

"khushi look arnav is right it will just take a minute or else it will keep on paining you for long" said armaan sitting near her making her calm

"no I am fine with long pain, look arnav sir leave my foot and just stay away from me please sir leave me its paining me more please" said khushi like a real kid that was the first time maybe they were seeing a little kid in that khushi , she was all the time hard and strong girl and right now she was behaving like a stubborn kid getting out the real khushi who was fighting and crying like a kid

"look khushi arnav is right it will not pain much rather you will surely feel relief" said armaan

"I don't knew I don't knew anything I don't need any treatment I don't need any help just leave me just let me go and don't you try touch me" said khushi brushing off them away and tried getting up but it pained her again and arnav irritated made her sit back

"stop being so stubborn and stop behaving like a kid, listen to me alright you don't want me to touch I wont but just sit back and relax don't put pressure on your feet" said arnav irritated

"yes relax khushi I will get water for you" said armaan getting up and moving towards table

"khushi listen" arnav tried to say

"no no I am not just stay away from me don't touch and for god sake get up from here and get away from me" said khushi

"khushi listen to me look at me khushi" said arnav in frustration why she did this to him all the time she is too stubborn holding her arms to make her listen

"no please sir please leave me sir , please its paining me sir" said khushi in horror scared to hell with whats next coming

"stop struggling khushi and look at me, khushi I wanted to talk with you for so long but you never let me, you knew I have to tell you something important, I , I mean I love you khushi , I love you so much and I cant live without you" said arnav instantly and at once khushi stopped struggling and in shock state looking at arnav that she actually heard it correct or not but it was surely true but arnav was just sitting and looking at her so intensely that it was sure that he was serious and not at all joking

While it was more bigger shock for armaan standing at his back he just dropped the glass of water he was holding thinking in the shock over what he heard

And this break khushi shocked state and she again looking at arnav and then armaan who looked more shocked then anyone in the room

"arnav are you out of your mind" said armaan in anger

"oh god ammy why you always have to interfere in the middle we could talk later" said arnav more irritated and angry on armaan for spoiling that moments

And here to their surprise khushi started laughing loud, a minute ago she was crying with pain and now she was laughing

"oh god , oh my god that was too good arnav sir I never knew you were so filmy and extracts so great idea from movies" said khushi smiling and then controlling her laugh

"filmy and you are laughing really khushi what is so funny in this" said armaan

"what else look I have also seen this formula in many movies giving person some kind of shock with saying something unexpected and I knew your plan you said this to make me shocked so that my focus get away from my foot or my pain and you can twist it back" said khushi smiling while looking from arnav and then to armaan who himself found some sense in what she was saying

"nice try arnav sir you really shocked me for a moment but not that good I mean it didn't sound genuine at all cause what you said was just something not at all possible you should have tried something else on which I could have believed but now that chance is gone and don't even try any such silly trick again" said khushi

And here arnav for a moment really felt a little hurt he didn't intended to tell this truth like this but only he knew that whatever he said was true and he said with all his real emotions, but she thought it was a joke, he knew she wont believe him and somewhere he was expecting this reaction but still somewhere it hurt but he composed himself back really soon

"really I failed and its all cause of you ammy who said you to drop that glass and interrupt only if you would have not disturbed I would have completed the task" said arnav smiling hiding the complete turmoil inside him

"what look I am a normal person and I am really not used to hearing you proposing girls on daily basis so this surely shocked me whatever arnav that was really bad and cheap and don't ever repeat any such act ever again" said armaan with a relief he also have thought god knew what not in this few seconds

"ok end of the joke here, but what about your foot it remains the same" said arnav changing the topic completely

"wait I will get some muscle relief spray maybe there will be some in first aid it must be there in the other room" said armaan leaving out rushing to get the medicine

"relax khushi it will be alright" said arnav

"you have already made me forget my pain for once sir seriously that was really nice try" said khushi smiling

"well maybe I was not that good in expressing my feelings that's why you didn't believed" said arnav pouring

"next time try something else that may sound genuine and make me really shock" said khushi smiling

"so my proposing or asking you didn't sound genuine or shocked you, then what can really shock you khushi maybe when I will sit on my foot and with a ring will ask you then will that look like real" said arnav sitting in front of her and imitating what he said

"ok sir you are already caught with this trick so don't try it again" said khushi smiling

"you don't believe me or replied me when I proposed you but will you reply me if I ask something else" said arnav

"some other prank" said khushi

"first listen and then decide , I wanted to ask you something for so long but never got a chance so thought of asking why were you running on that deserted road of Mumbai in the middle of night 2 years ago and who were that men's following you that night" said arnav seriously very seriously noticing well khushi expression and reaction changing from smiling to shocked and somewhere scared and he knew what kind of turmoil would be going in her mind at that moment

While khushi was herself lost in that past that dreadful past the memories of that past which she so wanted to forget just came back in front of her with the mention of that one night she didn't heard ahead she didn't listened what else arnav said

Her fear stricken state was disturbed with a sharp pain she felt in her foot the pain was so un bearing that it made her cry loud in pain

Looking at khushi so lost in her thoughts in her own past arnav immediately holding her foot and twisted it back he knew this trick would have surely worked and it did he so wanted to ask khushi this himself but was waiting for some perfect chance he didn't wanted to say anything like this but today he don't knew how he said all he wanted maybe his frustration of so many days made him do so

Khushi was crying loud in pain

"its ok khushi its alright you will be fine, this pain will go" said arnav soothing her down as she cried in pain

Hearing her scream armaan came in back in the room with some spray

"what happened is everything alright" said armaan more worried

"ya everything is alright now , everything will be fine" said arnav getting up from the floor as he knew his task was done already , he did whatever he wanted now next will be khushi move

ok thats all for now

"arnav what the hell is happening here" said armaan in anger entering the room and shocked to see a crying khushi trapped between arnav and back wall and arnav holding her tightly

"just let her go arnav now" said armaan in anger pulling arnav back away from khushi

ok thats all for teaser well guessed right next part is surely armaan time to chose in best friend or sister lets see what will happen 😉
