Avni is upset with Rose for telling everyone about her and Vivaan. Rose announces in the class that she was lying and that there is nothing between Avni and Vivaan. The new guy Joe enters the class and tells them that he has joined the college. Joe recalls how Vivaan has told him about Avni over video conferencing and had asked him to take care of her and love her. He had also told Joe that he would be able to read everyone's thoughts except Avni's and that he has to make her so happy that she does not think about Vivaan at all. Joe then tries to flirt with Avni but Avni shuts him up and asks him to try his game on someone else. Joe thinks he would have to follow some other track and thinks of asking Vivaan.

Meghna comes to the class and announces that Vivaan is on emergency duty so the students should think about which subject they want to choose for semester project and start working on thesis. Students disperse and Joe follow Avni and try to ask him for coffee. Avni says no and enter an empty room. Rose comes from behind and Avni tells her that she thinks Vivaan is in some problem that's why he is avoiding her calls and messages. She then says that she won't think about him at all till he himself says he loves her. Rose asks her to toss a coin to find if Vivaan loves him or not but coin gives tail each time. Rose starts coming up with new ideas to determine if Vivaan loves Avni or not like walking on a straight line but Avni ends up running into Meghna who scolds her. She then suggests Avni to find out through FLAMES and result finally come out as Love and Rose says she should show some attitude and leaves a confused Avni behind who starts remembering hers and Vivaan's moments.

Yamini informs Vivaan about how she had lost the file and Vivaan is furious that she could not perform a simple task. He later calls her to his cabin. He tells her that he would be on emergency duty for next few days and if she can handle his schedules. Yamini asks what's wrong with Sarthak and what did that file contain, Vivaan tells her that he had some dangerous vials with him which can give superhuman powers to a human and Sarthak has stolen some of those vials and the file containing research on them. He then asks her to get friendlier with Sarthak and secretly administer an antidote in his blood stream.
