Aaliya's Room
Aaliya's POV
"Abbuu.!" I mumbled.
"Tujhe yeh krne ke liye itni chut de rkhi hai meine? Meine tujhse kaha tha na. Agar teri shaadi hogi toh sirf Zeeshan ke saath hi hogi. Ahmed Bhaijaan se meri baat ho chuki hai. Sirf 3 dino mei tumhari shaadi hai. Apni Ammi ke saath jao apni pasand ka lehenga choose kr lo." Abbu said steaming angry.
"Lehenge mei meri pasand kyun Abbu? Usme bhi aapki hi pasand le lijiye. Ladka dekh ke nahi choose kiya toh ab lehenga kyun? Kisi ka purana sa lehenga le aaiye. Waise bhi aapko toh mei pasand hi kaha hu? Bas mujhe nikalna chahte hai kisi tarah is ghar se." I said standing up. Zain stood up too as he held my hand. "Par nahi Abbu. Yeh meri Zindagi hai Abbu. Aap isse kharab nahi kr skte. Jaake keh dijiye apne Ahmed Bhaijaan se, mei yeh shaadi TODHTI hu."
I burst out of the room with Zain, dragging him along.
Next Day
Aaliya's POV
"The number you are trying to call is currently switched off or not reachable." It repeated again and again as I kept on calling Zain. Why on earth he isn't picking his phone? Why?
I called him again. It's ringing.
"Hello?" A lady said from the other line. Is he with a-??
"Hi I am Aaliya. Can I talk to Zain please?"
"Zainu baby. Some Aaliya's call." The lady said. I heard some grumble as he reached out for the phone. I held my breath inside me.
"Who is it?" He said sleepily.
"It's me Zain, Aaliya." I said shaking.
"Who Aaliya?" My heart skipped a beat. Then he turned to the lady. "Its not my call. Wrong number it is. Just decline the phone and sleep."
What the hell???
I fall down on the floor sliding down accross the wall. He doesn't recognise me? Has he been cheating on me? Who is that girl? Tears formed my eyes as I lightly took out my phone. I looked at my screensaver. It was from the time we had went for a long walk and were having ice-cream. He was licking off the left ice-cream from my nose when my sister, Aisha, took a snap.
She said, "This is what I call a Kodak Moment."
But noww..???
Why is Zain doing this?
What has happened to him?
Next Day At College
Cafetaria
Aaliya's POV
"Hi Aaliya." Di came in and smiled.
"Hi Di. Kese ho?" I replied in a bored voice.
"I am good. Tu theek nahi lg rhhi.. Kya hua? Abbu ne mana kr dia? Tere aur Zain ke nikaah se? Kya hua Aaliya? Bta na-" I cut off Di.
"Naam mat lo uska Di. Zain ek number ka cheat tha. Use mere se pyaar nahi tha Di. Mei bas uske liye ek istmal krne ki cheez thi. He is like all the other boys Di. Unhe ladkiyon sirf ek hi cheez chahiye hoti hai. And jab unhe pta chalta hai ki woh ladki yeh nahi degi toh bas.. they leave her just like that. Woh ek number ka cheat hai Di." I said the rest of the part crying. "Usse mere emotions ki koi fikr nahi hai. I hate him Di. I do. I hate him from the core of my heart."
"Shush Shush Aaliya. Tu toh meri sherni hai. Tu ro rhi hai?" Di came and I hugged her. "Mat ro Aalu. Woh kamina tha. Tu usse yaad kr krke apna kyun dil sad kr rhi hai? Ladke cheat hote hi hai. Tu bhul jaa usse. Zeeshan ek accha ladka nhi lgta. Tu abhi shaadi mat kr Aaliya."
Zeeshan.
"Nahi Di. Mujhe Zeeshan se shaadi krni hai. Woh Zain se zyaada cheat nahi kr skta mujhe. Kamaskam mujhe yeh toh pta hai ki woh mujhse kabhi pyaar nahi krega. Zain ne itne din mujhse pyaar krne ka drama kiya. Ab dekho isse. I hate him from the core of my heart Di. Why are all boys jerks?"
"Coz things make them jerks Aaliya. Tu tension mat le meri behan. Usko mei maza chakhake hi rhungi."
Corridor
After The Class
Aaliya's POV
"Hey Yasmin tune kahin Zain ko dekha hai?" Di asked. I was trying to control my anger whenever someone said the name. I hate him.
"Arre tu kahan thi ab tak Aisha? Tujhe pta nahi hai Zain ke baare mei?" I looked at Di then at Yasmin. Then back at Di. My heart skipped a beat.
"What about him?" I asked.
"Arre Aaliya, he has left the college. Uske Dad ki posting hogyi hai New York mei. Toh he is going there. You are his girlfriend Aaliya, tujhse toh yeh umeed nahi thi." Yasmin said. He.. left?
"I am NOT his girlfriend." I said in a little loud voice. I stormed out of the corridor to the classroom. I have a class. I don't care.
GO TO HELL ZAIN ABDULLAH.
