He banged the door hard telling her that it was going to be a long night!
Latching the door he strode towards her with big steps making her move back.

His intense eyes that bored into hers shook her insides.
If this was what he turned on knowing her first lie; what would he do when he would find out the entire truth!

That mere thought sent chills down her spine!

He corner her up against the wall and moving dangerously close;
he spat out through his gritted teeth;
Maine tumhari har jid maani hai Riddhima;
har baar tumhari nadaniya; tumhari carelessness tumhari
innocence samajh kar tumhe maaf kar diya.

I trusted you too much to even think that you would ever lie to me.
Maine tumse kabhi koi sawal nahi kiya about your whereabouts
not because I didn't care; but because I wanted to give you that space!

R: Main... jaanti hu Arm...

A: SHUT UP! Just shut your mouth and only answer what I ask!
Kya tumne jaan bujke mujhse jhut bola?

R: Armaan main...

A: Shhh...sirf haan ya Naa... jhut bola tha ya nahi?

R: I...

A: Haan...ya naa...

R: Please Armaan...

A: HAAN YA NAA?

R: Ha...haan.

She answered in a shaky voice hearing him shout!
Tears were continuosly flowing down her cheeks; while she hiccupped between her sobs like a small kid!

She was crying uncontrollably too petrified by his anger.
Iska matlab na toh tum us din Muskaan se mili; na kabhi tumne use milne ka plan bana tha; right?

She nodded her head not wishing to infuriate him anymore!
A: So now...Riddhima; please do the honours of letting me know;
tum aise kaha gayi thi jiske liye tumne mujhse itna bada jhut bola?
She just stared at him unable to speak!

What would she say after all?
She had nothing to answer!
He repeated his question once more but she would not budge!
He grabbed her shoulder and pulling her up with such a force that she trembled;
he whispered right against her lips.

A: Don't test my patience Riddhima...
Please tell me tum kaha thi us din?

R: Main...main...
main Armaan...
aapko nahi bata sakti ki main kaha thi!
Gaining a lot of courage she finally spoke up!

She shut her eyes prepared for whatever that came her way;
but that was her answer. Nothing less; nothing more.
A: Come again?
NAHI...bata sakti ka kya matlab?
Tum mujhe bata nahi sakti...
ya batana jaruri nahi samjhti?

R: Aap jo samjhna chaho Armaan;
par main aapko iske aage aur kuch nahi bata sakti!

He had never known someone could infuriate him to this extent;
and
knowing exactly well what he was going through;
this was all she wanted to say!

He left her shoulders with a jerk feeling helplessly agonised!
He punched the wall hard;
and she almost felt the vibes.

She gasped in horror as his hand started bleeding;
but caring less he punched the wall once more and this time harder.

R: Ye...ye aap kya kar rahe hai...
aapko chot lag...

He raised his finger to stop her where she was;
as she approached him trying to hold his hand.

A: Don't even dare Riddhima;
just stay away!
He zapped out of the room leaving a crying vulnerable Riddhima behind.

She shivered as she replayed the past few moments in her mind.
She remembered him saying not to get on his wrong side.
And that's what she had exactly done!

She had betrayed him; lied to him.
She had seen the hatred in his eyes!

All her lies had paid off well;
he had showed her why they said; "Love is never easy!"
She cried the whole night!

He never returned back to the room.
Locking herself inside the room;
all she had done was cried and cried over her fate!

Ananya had called her last night;
informing her that she was going to stay back at her friend's place for some help;
and that was the only thing she thanked God for in that day!

The next morning gaining courage;
she got ready and walked downstairs to see him; talk to him.
But as she reached down;
she found him all dressed up in a suit already!

His eyes told her;
just like her he haven't had a wink of sleep!
She tried talking to him when he simply stood up and started walking away.

But just then Rahul walked in making Armaan stop at the door step.
He saw Armaan looking daggers at him;
and one look at Riddhima told him what must have happened after he left!

Ra: Umm...vo tere signature chahiye the file pe; isi liye...

Armaan looked down at the files in his hand and was about to take it when his cell rang and he excused himself.
Rahul approached Riddhima as he had seen her staring at Armaan helplessly.

Ra: Tumhari baat hui usse?

She simply nodded her head answering him.
Ra: Dekho Riddhima...
is ek jhut ne uski ye haalat kar di hai.
Jab use poora sach pata chalega toh vo tut jaayega.
Aur agar vo tumhari bajai kisi aur se pata chala;
toh vo vakai tumhe kabhi maaf nahi kar paayega Riddhima.

Meri baat ko samjho...
Tu achi tarah jaanti ho use jhut se sakt nafrat hai!

R: Please Rahul...
vo pehle hi mujhse baat tak nahi kar rahe!
Aur ye sab sunakar tum kyu meri takleef badha rahe ho?
Aur vaise bhi tum toh yahi chahte the na;
peechle kuch dino se yahi toh koshish hai tumhari!

Pata nahi unse kya kuch kahe ja rahe ho;
kal subah bhi vo hospital ki baat...

She sighed as she was worn out with all the emotional turmoil;
Kal jo hua...
uske baad vo toh meri taraf dekhna tak nahi chahte!

She wiped the fresh tears that just trickled down her eyes.
Ra: Tum...tum galat samajh rahi ho Riddhima.
This is not what I wanted!
Main usse baat karta hu.
I am sure ye trip use thoda waqt degi shant hone ke liye.

She shot up her head at that;
R: Trip...kaisi trip?

Ra: Yahi...banglore trip jiske liye hum...
1 minute usne tumhe nahi bataya?

R: Na...nahi!

Ra: Riddhima hum Banglore jaa rahe hai;
conference ke liye.
2 din ki trip hai; mujhe laga usne tumhe...

R: Kab...
Kab jaana hai?

Ra: Umm...Aaj!
Infact 2 ghante main flight hai humari!

Riddhima could feel her heart shatter into thousand pieces.
He was going on a trip and had not even mentioned it to her...
Rahul had read the hurt in her eyes so he instantly tried to cover up for Armaan;
Riddhima...vo actually plan prepond ho gaya! Hume agle hafte jana tha;

par ab achanak sab decide hua toh use chance nahi mila hoga kuch batane ka...

He was cut sternly by Armaan's voice;
Rahul...you don't need to justify my act!
Aur main kisse kya kehna hai kya nahi; I can decide that for myself!
Vaise bhi ye baat "kisi" aur ko batana maine JARURI NAHI samjha toh nahi bataya;
that's it; end of the story!

Ab jo kaam karne aaye ho vo karo; give me the files!
Armaan held the files when Riddhima saw the fresh wounds on his knuckles from last night still untreated.

R: Armaan...mujhe dressing toh...

A: Joseph...
JOSEPH!!

Jo: Yes sir?

A: When Mom comes let her know that I'll be back in 2 days;
and whosoever with whatsoever reasons;
better not call me and disturb.
I'll be too busy to attend any calls!

Riddhima could not hold her tears anymore as she got the underlying message
and quickly made her way to the kitchen.

Ra: Armaan ye tu kar ky...

A: Oh ya I forgot...breakfast ready ho toh jaldi se kha le;
I am all set to go; so once you are done let me know.
We will leave immediately.

Ra: Aur tu kaha ja raha hai; tujhe naashta nahi karna?

A: Nahi...mujhe bhuk nahi hai!

Armaan started walking upstairs but was stopped by Rahul.
He knew the inner turmoil going on in both of their hearts.

She was already going through a lot;
and his behaviour must have just torn her apart.

He had to do something about all this.
Ra: Ruk ja Armaan...ye tu kya kar raha hai?

A: Excuse me? Kya kiya maine?

Ra: Tu kyun khud ko aur use itni badi saja de raha hai?
A: Rahul please we are getting late; tu...

Ra: Nahi Armaan tu...

A: Just shut the f*** up and mind your own business Rahul.
Really...just enough
Vaise bhi jo kuch bhi mujhe sunna tha sun chuka main!
Kal bohot kuch pata chala mujhe toh...

Ra: Nahi Armaan kuch nahi pata chala tujhe;
aur tu kuch sunna chahega tabhi toh saamne wala kuch bolega!
Armaan just let it go; tu baat ko kuch jyaada hi kheech raha hai!

Maana Riddhima ne galati ki;
I understand tu ghussa hai;
ki maine bhi uska jhut main saath diya!
Par uski saja tu khud ko kyu de raha hai?

Armaan was about to retort but Rahul did not let him. He just held his hand up and pointed towards his wound;
Tujhe kya lagta hai;
I don't know ki tujhe ye chot kaise lagi?
Tujhe lagta hai main andha hu; bewakoof hu?
Achi tarah jaanta hu tune ye sab khud kiya hai;
khud chot pohocha raha hai apne aap ko.
Bachpan se jaanta hu tujhe Armaan!

A: Lagta toh nahi! Varna mujhse jhut nahi bolta tu!

Ra: Tu vakai kuch nahi samjhta ya samjhna hi nahi chahta!
Chal meri chod; par Riddhima?
Vo teri har baat; bina sawaal kiye; bina aage peeche ka soche maan jati hai!

Jo bhi baat tujhe pasand nahi;
use vo khud se dur hi rakhti hai!
Tujhe lagta hai uske liye aasan raha hoga tujhse jhut bolna.
Tu achi tarah jaanta hai ki uske liye teri marji; teri khushi sabse pehle aati hai!
Toh jara toh soch uske liye kitna mushkil raha hoga jhut bolna?

A: Tu apni baat kar Rahul;
tu toh sach jaanta hai na toh kyu nahi bata...

Ra: Kyunki main nahi bata sakta!
Main...main vaade se bandha hua hu!
Aur vaise bhi; main bhi poora sach nahi jaanta ki vo jo bhi kar rahi hai kyun kar rahi hai!
Aur aadha sach poore jhut se bhi khatarnak ho sakta hai!
Dekh...main tujhse sirf itna hi kahunga Armaan;
bhale hi vo galat ho; usne Galati ki ho;
par jo tu kar raha hai vo bhi sahi nahi hai!
Use aur khud ko takleef pohochane se toh tujhe sach pata nahi chal jaayega na!

Aur ye kya bacho jaise jid pe ada hai tu?
Usse baat nahi kar raha; use dekhna nahi chahta!
Use phone karne ke liye mana kar diya; vo bhi Joseph ke through!
Kar kya raha hai tu?
Socha bhi hai tere ghusse ka uspar kya asar hua hoga?
Vo kitni hurt hui hogi!

A: Acha aur mujhe jo chot pohochi hai...

Ra: Toh tu use theek karne ki bajai aur badhane ka kaam kar raha hai na!
Ek baar ghussa thuk Armaan;
aur jara thande dimaag se soch;
vo ladki jo tere marji ke begair ek patta idhar ka udhar nahi hone deti;
vo agar tujhe kuch nahi bata rahi toh vajah bhi kuch utni hi badi hogi na!

Main jaanta hu ye tera personal matter hai;
par main tum dono ka dost hu aur is liye jaanta hu ki tum dono hi is waqt takleef main ho!

Aur is tarah use baat na karke; use bina bataye kahi chale jaane se; problem solve nahi hogi balki aur badhegi!
Tu aise naaraj hokar jaayega; bina kuch khaye piye;
socha hai peeche se uski haalat kya hogi!
Ab tak toh uske rone ka aadha quota bhar bhi gaya hoga;
par tu chala jayega uske baad toh vo freely ro payegi; great isn't it?

Armaan looked away knowing exactly that every word that came out of Rahul's mouth was true!
Yahi chahta hai na tu?
Vo yaha do din baithe aur roti rahe; khud ko kosti rahe;
good na; do din baad jab lautega toh uski haalat dekhne jaisi hogi nahi!

Ro kar thak chuki hogi; theek se khana nahi khaya hoga;
so nahi payegi; aur khud par saari narajgi nikalegi so alag;
afterall teri hi biwi hai na!

Armaan actually visualised all that Rahul was trying to say and felt a pinch at his heart.

Would he be able to face her then; knowing very well that he would be the reason?

She lied was one side of the coin;
but if she wasn't letting him know the reason then as Rahul said the reason had to be huge!
She did not deserve to be treated so badly for that!
All she always did was care for him; think good for him;
he knew what his one hurtful statement could do to her!

Still he had vent out all his anger on her last night!
Yes he was hurt too; he was in pain too;
but she was very weak and emotional compared to him he knew that.

She was very naive and; sensitive to everything related to him!

Ra: I will not say ki use maaf kar kyunki main jaanta hu ki maafi dena aasan nahi hoga!
Par kam se kam use baat kar le jaane se pehle.
Use aisi haalat main chodkar toh mat jaa!
Do din vo ye ghutan nahi jhel paayegi;
aur vo bhi aisi haalat main jab tere saath bitaya ek ek din uske liye itna jaruri hai!

Rahul said in the flow of moment but regretted it instantly;
A: Kya matlab?

Ra: Huh? Main...mera matlab...

Just then they heard a shriek from kitchen followed by Joseph's voice;
Jo: Aap theek toh hai madam;
aap please jaaiye yaha se; sir ko pata chala toh vo bohot ghussa karenge!
Sophia aapki dressing kar degi.

But just then Armaan and Rahul walkied inside and saw everyone in a hustle.

A: Kya ho raha hai yaha par aur kiski dre...
His sentence was left hanging midway as he saw blood dripping from her hand.

A gasp escaped his mouth as he saw her hand and found a deep cut.
