Chapter 12
PreeMan were coming back to the Palace. Anshuman stopped.
Preet: Kya hua, Anshuman?
A letter was lying in front of the main gate. He picked it up. The cover said,
"To the BEAUTIFUL Queen of Dehradun From a Well-Wisher..."
Anshuman: Ek aur waisa hi letter.
Preet: Ek aur!
Anshuman: (reading)"Sambhal jao! Nehi to bohot bura hoga..."
Preet: (worried)Ye...ye sab kya hai! Kaun bhej raha hai ye sab mujhe! Anshuman, mujhe kuch samajh mei nehi aaraha...
He was thoughtful.
Anshuman: Preet, andar chalo. Inn sabko bhul jao! Chalo.
He threw it away. Then they went inside.

It was a very dark night...
All were sleeping, so was Daisa. Some kind of weird screaming sounds where disturbing her peaceful sleep. Finally she woke up. She followed the sounds and reached outside the palace, in the deep jungle. As she went closer, sound started getting louder and finally she reached the source of the weird noises. She was shocked!

Preet was passing-by Daisa's room. She heard Vivaan crying. Thus, entered to calm Vivaan but failed. She searched for Daisa but she was nowhere to be seen.
Preet: (calling)Deepak! Deepak, jaldi yaha ao!
Deepak came running.
Deepak: Ji...ji, Ranisa, aapne bulaya?
Preet: Daisa ko bulao.
Deepak: Ranisa, mai unnhe hi dhundne gaya tha. Lekin vo Haveli mei kahi nehi dikhi.
Preet: Haveli mei nehi hai! Aisa kaise hosakta hai?
Anshuman entered.
Anshuman: Kya hua, Preet?
Preet: Anshuman, Vivaan kabse roo raha hai lekin Daisa ka koi ata-pata nehi hai.
Anshuman: Kya!
He tried to sense about yesterday night's happenings using his Vamperic instincts.
Anshuman: Preet?
He stretched out his hand and she held his hand.
Preet: Deepak, tum kisiko bolo Vivaan ke paas rehne ke liye.
Deepak nodded. Anshuman followed yesterday's happenings and reached the jungle where Daisa went but after that he couldn't follow anymore as some powerful force was protecting it.
Preet: Ruk kyu gaye?
Anshuman: Pata nehi, Preet. Yaha kuch bohot zyada shaktishali force hai. Mai use todh nehi paa raha...
Preet: Mai koshish karti hu.
She did some magic but no use.
Preet: Mai bhi...todh nehi paa rahi.
Anshuman: Tumse nehi hoga!
Preet: Par kyu? Mere paas Moonstone ki aadhi shaktiyaan hai!
Anshuman: Tumhare paas Moonstone ki aadhi shaktiyaan hai lekin vo abhi mature nehi huyi hai. Tum isi saal aatthara saal ki huyi ho, iss saal se tumhari shaktiyaan barna shuru karengi. Jisske baad...(he stopped)
Preet: Jisske baad?
Anshuman: (sadly)Kuch nehi... Preet, hum pehle Daisa ko dhunde?
Preet noticed some kind of sadness swept over his face. They started to search for Daisa. They called out her name but no response. Deepak arrived with some guards and joined the search.
Anshuman: (in mind)Ye kaisa force hai jo mujhse aur Preet se bhi zyada shaktishali hai...
Preet: (yelling)Anshuman!
Anshuman ran to her and found her crying. The reason of her crying was the dead body of Daisa. She was hung on a tree branch. Deepak and others also arrived at the spot. Everyone were badly shocked. Preet was totally shattered, Anshuman hugged her to console her.
Anshuman: Laash ko niche utaro.
Deepak ordered the guards to do it.
After few hours...
Preet was still crying and Anshuman was trying to console her.
Preet: Anshuman...Daisa... Ye kya horaha hai mera saath! Pehle Maasa-Babasa aur ab...Daisa! Mere saath hi aisa kyu hota hai...
Anshuman: Preet, aapne aap ko sambhalo. Tum aise tutt nehi sakti!
A guard came.
Anshuman: Kya hai?
Guard: Bahar ye chitthi mili hai.
He took the letter and the guard left.
Anshuman: Ek aur waisa hi letter!(reading)"Kaha tha na BEWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS! Dekhliye kya hogaya..."
Preet angrily tore the letter into pieces and threw it away.
Anshuman: (in mind)Ye jo bhi hai, vo hume kuch ishara karne ki koshish kar raha hai. Par kya?
Preet: Anshuman, humesha mere saath hi aisa kyu hota hai... Kya galti hai meri! Jo bhi mere kareeb hote hai sab mujhe chhorke chale jate hai. Aisa kyu hota hai mere saath...
Anshuman: (in mind)Galti tumhari nehi hai, Preet... Ye kismat ka khel hai. Tum iss duniya ke liye bani hi nehi ho. Kismat ke iss khel ke saath tumhara koi vasta hi nehi hai. Lekin kismat ke khilaf kabhi kuch nehi hota... Par mai tumhe bacha sakta hu! Mai tumse wada karta hu, Preet, iss khatanak khel mei mai tumhe kuch nehi hone dunga! Tumhari raksha karna hi ab mera lakshya hai!
