After a gap of nearly two-and-a-half years, Karan Johar will be helming a new project as a director. His last film was Student Of The Year (2012). The forthcoming film will have an enviable cast, which includes Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
Ever since the film was announced, there have been widespread rumours about various actors who could be working opposite Ranbir, or that Saif Ali Khan will be paired opposite Aishwarya. Karan and Saif are good friends, and have also worked in Kal Ho Na Ho (2003) and Kurbaan (2009) in the past.
Recent reports also suggest that Karan has already met Saif and he's been signed for the film.
However, when contacted, Saif had a different version to narrate. He says, "It's not true at all. I haven't even been asked to be part of the film." The project is supposed to go on the floors in June next year.
