[Jiski khwaahish thi... humein tuney ab woh shab di hai
jitni tanhaayi thi jeene mei... sab woh bhar di hai
Kab tujhe zindagi se jod liya...ajnabee humko kuch pata na chala]
"Miss Ishita Iyer" he said breathlessly at the reception
"Sorry sir maam's appointment is full upto the 5th. You can take an appointment for the next day"
"Mujhe nehi pata tha ki iss seher mein itne logo ke daant kharab hota hai" he murmured
"Kuch kaha aapne sir"
He gave a sarcastic smile "Nehi, I'm a friend. Just ask her. I'm Raman Bhalla"
The receptionist calls Ishita "Yes sir, maam will see you now"
He almost gave a victory dance, grinning at the receptionist he rushed to her cabin.

"Ruhi theek toh hai na, aap aise achanak yaha? Use school mei chot toh nehi lagi" she enquired as soon as she saw him.
"Ruhi? Ruhi theek hai, mai toh woh... woh" he struggled to find the correct word.
Her expression turned cold "agar koi emergency nehi thi toh aapko yaha nehi aana chahiye tha"
"What do you mean... nehi aana chahiye tha? Mujhe tumse baat karni thi, its important" he moved closer to her
She moved a step back "Ruhi ke alawa mere liye koi aisi important baat nehi hai joh mujhe aapse discuss karni ho"
"Dekho Ishita" he tried to maintain his calm "mujhe gol gol baat karne ki aadat nehi hai, tumhe bhi pata hai ki mai kya baat karna chahta hu. So why don't we just talk and get over with that"
"It was nothing that we need to talk about" she said
The worst part was that her expressions weren't giving him any hint of her state.
"Yes we do, we need to talk about it. Tumhe fark nehi parta hoga par mujhe parta hai, I'ven't slept a wink, had almost killed everyone in office, my life is a mess and you say you don't care?"
"I said I don't want to talk about it, it was a mistake, I don't blame you so why are you so worked up about it?" she glared at him
Her nonchalantness made him mad "You can't behave like that, we will be seeing each other like everyday... you can't avoid me"
"I'm not avoiding you" she said, not meeting his eyes
"Yes you are, you think you can't give me those blank expressions and I'll believe you" he smirked angrily
"You know you are one hell of a sadist. What do you want me to do? Cry over it? Will that please you Mr Bhalla?" she shouted at him
"look Ishi... what? Mr Bhalla?" he let out a sarcastic laugh "So we are back to playing games are we? Good... Because two can play a game"
"I'm not playing a game here. What are we? teenagers? I've nothing against you"
"So does that mean we are friends again?" he asked hopefully
"We were never friends"
"What do you mean? You helped me with Ruhi"
"No, I helped Ruhi with you, she needed her father and I helped her with that"
He had nothing to say. He was angry, more at himself than at her. He simply stormed out of hre cabin

"Why did you go there?" He said to himself as he sat in his cabin that evening "She doesn't care"
"She doesn't care, so you have nothing to feel guilty about Raman. She was right, why are you so worked up about it? Yes you have lost your mind. You need to be the old Raman, not the new one who danced to her tunes" he suddenly got a evil grin "But no one gets away behaving like that with me. Agar usne mera dimag kharab karke rakha hai toh mai bhi uska dimag khaye bina chan ki saans nehi lunga" he promised to himself.

"Ruhi, Ruhi, Ruhi" he shouted as he entered home "maa Ruhi kaha hai?"
"Hogi Ishita ke saath uske ghar mein" his mother said, his smile grew at that
"Theek hai mai use milke aata hu"
Ruhi and Ishita were busy doing Ruhi's homework
"Good evening, Ruhi" Raman said kissing Ruhi on her cheeks
"Wah papa aap aa gaye, Ishi Aunty ko bhi to wish karo" Ishita glared at a clueless Ruhi
Raman grinned "good evening Ishu" he kissed her on her cheeks too
Ishita's mouth flew open as he winked at her. She glared at him and turned to look at Ruhi who stood there smiling
"Accha papa aap yaha baitho" Ruhi pulled him to the bed "Aaj pata hai school mein kya hua"
"Ruhi papa abhi office se aaye hai na toh thak gaye honge" Ishita gave a sugary smile to Ruhi "tum baad mein baat kar lena"
"Arre nehi nehi, mai toh bilkul nehi thaka, aur mere Ruhi ke liye I have all the time of my life" he smiled at Ruhi and turned to Ishita "Waise Ishu mai soch raha tha ki aaj se Ruhi ke saath aur bhi zyada time spend karu"
"Aap... Aap aisa nehi kar sakte" she spoked through gritted teeth
"kyon nehi kar sakta" he challenged
"Kyunki Ruhi ko homework bhi toh karna hota hai"
"Ha toh mai usse disturb thodi karunga" he looked at Ruhi who silently nodded. He then moved forward and slowly spoke for only Ishita to hear "Mai toh sirf tumhe disturb karunga... Issshuuu" and smirked.
"Ruhi pata hai aaj Mihika chitti tumhari favourite chocolate laayi hai" Ishita said
"Sacchi? Mai leke aaun?"
"ofcourse baccha" Ishita smiled
As soon as Ruhi rushed out of the room, Ishita turned to raman who appeared nonchalant "kya tha yeh?" she asked angrily
"kya?" he feigned innocence
"Don't play that trick with me Mr Bhalla. Stop doing that or..."
"or what Issshuuu" he said coming closer to her
"Why are you doing this?" she asked frustrated
"What am I doing? You don't want me to spend time with Ruhi? I thought that's whats you wanted"
"You know what go to hell"
"Will you come along?" he asked grinning like a fool.

Precap:
"ha maa wahi toh bol raha tha mai Ishu ko ki saree kitni jachti hai ispe, specially black saree... wahi joh tumne pehna tha usdin Ishu" he said with a serious face. Ishita started coughing as the food chocked out of her mouth "Arre Ishu, dheere khaya karo, yeh lo paani piyo" he forwarded the glass of water as she glared at him.
