Naksh thinks she will scold him now and stops her. He says Yash did not do anything. Naksh tells Akshara and everyone that Rukmani will beat Yash now, she is very bad. Naitik asks him to say sorry. Naksh says he is not lying, and asks Yash to say it, else Rukmani will always trouble her. Naksh notices her taking Yash and stops her. He tells Akshara and everyone that she's going to verbally abuse him. Naksh tells everyone that Rukmani is very bad and she beats Yash. Naitik asks Naksh to apologize for what he's saying. Naksh says that he's not lying and asks Yash to tell everyone the truth otherwise Rukmani will keep harassing him.

Yash runs to Nandini and hugs her. Naksh reveals that Rukmani threatens Yash saying she'll send him to a hostel. Mohit is shocked hearing this. Nandini is in tears and asks Rukmani whether she has the heart of a mother or not. She then asks her why she's troubling Yash even after she requested before. Nandini tells her that Yash is the same child she used to love so much then why the sudden change in his treatment. Nandini demands for the baby shower to be stopped because she can't bear what's happening. She cries and says she doesn't need the function if it means killing Yash's happiness. Rukmani interrupts and says that the baby shower cannot be stopped half way because it's a bad omen. Akshara asks her how the function will be a good sign if she keeps being unfair with Yash. She says that she always supported her but she won't be on her side today.

Akshara says that she's with Nandini today because she understands what she's going through being a woman and a mother. She explains to Rukmani that just because the second child is coming; it doesn't mean that the first child will be ignored. Bhabi Ba supports Akshara and says that they always kept mum because they wanted to keep relations on good terms but she won't stay quiet now after the sin she committed by trying to separate a child from his mother. Mohit is furious and tells Rukmani that she promised to make the baby shower memorable and by doing what she did; she has made the function a memorable one. Rukmani gets angry and leaves. Mohit and Nandini apologize to Yash and he asks why they're apologizing as it wasn't their fault. Mohit tells him that it's their fault because they couldn't see what their child was going through. He promises that it won't happen again and he'll always be special to them. Mohit and Nandini both hug Yash and smile. Everyone praises Naksh for being brave and bringing out the truth.

Akshara requests the guests not to leave because there are rituals which need to be done. Nandini tells Akshara to let it be as she's not in the mood anymore. Akshara insists and asks her to do the function for the baby. Devyani agrees and says only shagun is left to be given to the soon to be mother. They complete the function and everyone gives shagun to Nandini. Mohit apologizes on Rukmani's behalf and thanks them for arranging such a grand function. Bau ji asks him to forget everything and there's no need to apologize. Karishma says that it's good Rukmani got a taste of her medicine today because she has insulted her and Naman. Akshara tells her that it's not good to hold a grudge but Karishma argues. Rajshri scolds Karishma and Devyani tells her that she'll make Karishma understand.

Mohit says that until Rukmani's anger vanishes, he would like their help. He asks them to let Nandini and Yash stay there and he would take them later. Akshara tells hims= she's sorry but they can't let Nandini and Yash stay there. Everyone is shocked.

Precap: Suresh angrily says that no one can snatch his children away from him. Devyani asks him what he means and asks why his name is not on the card.
