There was a dead silence in the Raizada Mansion. It was not everyday they hear someone plotting the death of the son of the house. Khushi was pale as sheet. Though something like this was expected, still listening to the confession was more scaring.

Arnav could only nod thinking the fateful night.

Akash: Di was much clever than Dad thought her to be. As soon as she married Jeejaji, she started helping him in administration than being his disturbance and she also stopped the amount that was being to dad as a tradition next to uncle followed by Jeejaji. This riled up Dad so much. And At last AR stood enormously in front of him with a business association award and also Best in hospitality.

This added ghee to the fire. So on the day of the success, the drink Dad gave you as a toast, was spiked with drug. He thought that if you drive having it, you will get into an accident and the case can be easily closed saying that you were drunk at a party owing to your success and got into an accident due to high alcohol. But again you escaped! Di understood what must have happened. She warned Dad from doing anything non sense or she may submit the evidences against him for the corporate case and also for all the mishaps in AR restaurants.

Somehow, Di got her hands on everything against Dad.

So Dad was waiting to strike again. I don't know when a pretty revenge changed into a madness to kill you jeejaji. Killing you became like an obsession for him. But again she made it to a point that All her shares and her ancestral property were named to Ansh and you without any loopholes where Dad can lay his hands upon.

It didn't take much time for Akash to understand the real story behind this custody claim. Then he started to dig everything related to it and that is how we landed in the corporate case 20 years before. Before we can act hearing date arrived and we could not talk before the hearing. Somehow Akash managed to withdraw the case and also we met you. We know that telling all these will not change anything that has happened. But still wanted you people to know that truth because we judged that if Khushi ji is married to you Arnav ji, the question of her leaving will arise for sure. We even thought that you may blame her for the way you both parted as we got to know from our sources. So we wanted you to know the truth for your and our peaceful life.

All were quiet. No one was crying as there were no more tears. Arnav was rigid as rock. Khushi was as blank as Arnav. After a deep breath Arnav stood from the sofa and spoke addressing Akash and Payal.

Arnav: Well, you think that we are peace now? After knowing the truth what do you think? That I will forget everything and will be singing duets with Khushi and sing lullaby for Ansh. If yes, then let me make it clear. I am not going to sit simply knowing that Your father is still happily resting after all the tragedies he planted in our lives. I just thought that he was doing all this for Tara and Papa. But He turned out to be a leech sucking our blood and I will not rest until I burn it down.

Now Akash also stood up facing Arnav.

Akash: There wont be any need for all that Jeejaji. I hope he is already being punished for his misdeeds.

Arnav: What do you mean?

Payal: After we got to know about Daddy ji from Tara ji's evidences, Akash confronted Daddy ji. And the argument grew into verbal fight much intense than Daddy could tolerate and even Akash was not saint to think about his father. Akash announced disowning everything that is from his father's and planned to move out from where we were called and also promised to submit all the evidence against him in the court and he also said that if needed he will himself fight the case. But Daddy ji's already weak heart could not stand the blow of his son leaving him. His son whom he thought to be his heir to take his name forward and also the humiliation he will have to go through when the evidences come out. So he died due to congestive heart failure when we were in Lucknow land registration office searching for Khushi ji's land documents which she sold in urgency to help you in business we think.

This was the final blow for everyone. Mainly for Arnav. He somewhere guessed about Khushi's land, but not once he guessed in this one month that Parthesh choudary could be dead though he was not sorry for that. But only one thought about him lingered in Arnav's mind which he spoke out.

Arnav: After doing so much, how did he die such an easy death? How can he easily escape without punishment for all he did? HOw could he?

Arnav was like volcano emitting lava. But as usual Khushi was there to calm him.

Khushi: Arnav! He is dead and out of our life for good. Let us try and forget him. Wherever he is, he is being punished as he never had a peaceful death. He died out of fear of losing his son.

Arnav: Are you expecting anything less for him Khushi? I treated you worse than a maid, I threw piercing words at you, Tara died such a painful death, Yash and I were going through so much to make everything right. Ansh succumbed himself listening to his so called Nanu's words. All because of that one man for what? Just for his obsession? And you expect me to forget everything just like that?

Khushi: No Arnav. I am not asking you to let it go for that man. But for yourself. Keeping all this inside you will give you nothing but pain. We have gone through enough pain for life time. Let it go just for our peaceful life Arnav. Just let it go.

A cold silence prevailed there for few minutes. Then Yash and Aarthy moved out to their rooms. Before anyone could comprehend what is happening, Both came out from their respective rooms with a set of papers.

Aarthy moved to Khushi with her pale but determined look and pressed the papers in Khushi' s hands.

Aarthy: Khushi, I can never forget what you did for Arnav when he was in distress. Though three years back I couldn't do or say anything, but selling the land that was the last memory of your parents was never acceptable for me. That time I dint know what came over me that I showed those 5 lakhs as basic deposit to get loans for Arnav. But once the loans were clear, I took the money and went to Lucknow to get the land back.

But I came to know that you have sold it to an orphanage which needed landed for their new home. I already deprived you off your parents property, so I could not deprive those children off their new roof. So I deposited the money in a bank and till today I am paying the interest for it.

This is the papers for that deposit that now I have changed it to your name. I never wanted to buy you Khushi. I just came to wrench you out of his life which I now realize is impossible. And don't refuse this. I am just returning back what is rightfully yours. Now that My job is done here, I am returning to Shimla.

Saying with one last glance at Arnav she moved towards her room. Before anyone could react, Yash placed the papers he brought in Arnav's hands.

Yash: This is the papers of this house which is legally yours. Just like Maa said, I cannot deprive you off Papa's last memories. I know that My parents were wrong, but I was also not brave enough to stand up to them for Anjali. When Payal told how Akash stood for her against his father, it was a slap on my face. Why couldn't i do that for my Anji? I don't know. May be I was a coward. Till today i thought My parents were wrong and I broke all my emotional ties with them. But Today I realised that, I didn't have the guts. I was wrong too. So I am planning to go to the apartment I have purchased on my own income with Anjali and Meetthi.

But before I leave, I apologize to you and Khushi for everything you both went through because of our marriage. And then Akash, Being so young, you proved to be brave than me. hope your sister forgives me. And Anjali. I am so sorry for letting you down. I thought that I can give all the happiness for you. But all I did was just insulting our love. Will you forgive me?

Anjali said nothing but just embraced him tightly saying her consent without saying it loudly in words.

Without another word, They turned to go but Khushi stopped them.

She went to Arnav and looked into his eyes. What she saw made her proceed. She took the papers from his hands and went to Yash and pressed it in his hands.

Khushi: Bhai, like bhabhi said, money is never a priority. Happiness and peace is what matters in life. She knows that she is happy with you, so she is ready to leave everything behind. Do you think that I am any less? Bhai you know me. I never loved him for his money. All mattered to me was his happiness for which I made a mistake of sacrificing my love. For you Bhabhi's happiness mattered for which, though late you did make your parents understand by breaking ties with them. Tara's love made her give her life for Arnav's happiness. And Arnav's love is always like his anger. So he made a mistake of bringing me to him in the name of vengeance.

We all did something to keep our love happy. Love is so complicated Bhai. You don't know why you do things here. It just happenes. And now I am going to do something for Arnav's happiness again. He gave a fake glare to Anjali's fake pout. But she could not hold it anymore, she hugged both Arnav and Khushi crying and laughing simultaneously.

Arnav: Hey Pinki! Either laugh or cry. Why are you confusing doing both. And look at you. Aankhen aur Naakh Dono beh rahe hain!

Both your eyes and nose are flowing!

Khushi was so happy. Her Arnav was back. The family was happy. Akash with a satisfactory smile holding Payal's hands was going out of the mansion.

Arnav: Akash! Don't you dare step out!

Akash with a dumstruck expression turned to see Arnav.

Arnav: You said that you have walked out on your father. Where are you planning to go? You are married only for 7 months and you have already starved your wife enough. What do you think? I don't know anything? Well yeah I never knew so much. But I do know the recent happening once the custody case was filed. Well if you wish, I have a job for you!

Akash: Job?

Arnav: Yeah! Sell everything your father has earned robbing people and return the money to rightful owners. Well you are lawyer you will know how. The things that Tara left to you, is yours. You can do anything you want. But don't you dare, touch the jewels that she left for Payal unless Payal wants it. Well, if you don't mind it, keep it to yourself as a Shagun from your Di and Mother.

Payal: Arnavji?

Arnav frowned as he closed the distance between them.

Arnav: I thought I am your jeejaji Akash! Din't you tell your wife? And if you wish, You can join in AR legal advisory team with Nicky. And one more offer! I would like you to join our family in this house.

The last one was said in whispering tone.

Akash: Jeejaji, Khushi ji?
