Red- Pritam didn't want Goti to be captain coz everyyyone comes and vents to him when goti annoys them and he knew he would have to be an overworking nanny 😆😆 besides ofc he'll wanna be captain. .but that aside when in the task things got dirty..he got stubborn himself that here you take Captaincy.. if you are taking everything on yourself that we are not your friends etc.. now you see what I do to you.. he ofc went in a mix of being hurt, stubborn and using this context to teach Goti a lesson ( a taste of his own medicine) of how someone coming in your way can annoy you.. but goti is too full of himself to see anything. ( I sincerely think Its a waste of time teaching him anything) but clearly Pritam had talked his strategy out with few of the HMs (Tanna and Upen, Di too maybe) .. secondly when a friendly silently stands for you and helps you .. you take him for granted and don't realize how much crap he is cleaning up for you.. you only see what he was doign for you.. when he actually turns an adversary (like you c laimed he is..)😆😆
Precisely- proving a POINT he is rather involved emotionally with goti baba (dk why.. beats me).. I wouldn't take half the trouble😆😆 I think he should just chill and let that arrogant idiot dig his own grave 😆😆😆 with his well wishers Punty and Dimpy😆😆

Of course, Tanna can't play Pritam. She can't play Diandra who's her "friend" (really?? I am not too sure about that), there's no way she can play Pritam. Pritam was "played" (if you want to call it that) by his own self. It's innate to who he is... Re his sexist mind-set being not compatible with gallantry, I would beg to differ. He has old-fashioned ideas from growing up in a comparatively smaller town (Nagpur, wasn't it?) and not the metros. He had earlier mentioned about how they would patao-fy maals and all that while going to coaching classes or somewhere.. Gallantry is associated with Knights (of the Round Table etc etc.) - Not exactly enlightened examples of male-female equality. It was the age-old concept of having a beautiful chick "request" something of you.
I certainly am NOT implying that he was flirting with Karishma. But his ummm vulnerable soft spot for Tanna (which girl in BB8 would he date? He had answered Karishma) is well-known. Karishma herself understands that well. When they were talking about the Upen vs Gautam captaincy task amongst the BG, Karishma had said that they should let her talk to Pritam...
I think her half-crying andaaz was like an udta hua teer, jo Pritam ne dil pe le liya...
As regards to the conversation with Praneet, it almost seems that Praneet has no other topic for conversation for the past 2.5 weeks than Gautam's negativity. He had heard it all (just like he hears Gautam moaning and whining for the past 4-5 weeks about how BG ko sabak sikhaana hoga etc etc. ) It was watching the pretty slim tall girl in distress that made Pritam go - itna kaTHore naheen ho saktaa main... I won't be a party to Gautam taking out his enmity using my kaptaani as a bahaanaa... Nothing wrong with that thought... But just explaining the Tanna connection there...
Re the STAND and the reasons you mentioned in bold...Pritam's stand is that he won't do any house work for the Captain...
My question was why is that stand justified? You pointed out that he supported and other people come cribbing to him (maybe he meant Tanna? 😳 ... No no ... I am joking here ... there isn't *anything* unbecoming between them) when Gautam does his worst. But now that P3G is no more, why will they come and crib to him? It's not like that their breakup happened in some darkened room with nobody present. Zor zor se sabke saamne chillaa-chillaake breakup hua. Why would anybody come to him and ask him to do ANYTHING if Gautam overstepped/tortured/irritated them.
Also Pritam supported Gautam. He didn't clean up Gautam's crap... The BG and most of the people still don't think highly of Gautam... The only reason they rethink is the fact that Salman and Panelists and Visitors and WCs bring news of Gautam's wild popularity. I don't think Pritam cleaned up Gautam's messes for him. However, he did provide a moral support of being there, including listening to hours and hours and hours and hours of Gautam being Gautam... (The Patience of Job... Pritam ko maan gaye!). But it's never that he was beholden to him. He didn't put his 100% when the time came for fighting for Gautam as captain during Gautam vs. Upen... So he has already PROVED to everybody in the house that he has an INDEPENDENT mind of his own and is NOT Gautam. And while Pritam handled the re-election ki maang horribly badly (he was incoherent and didn't substantiate and win over people that he needed to), but in that conversation it must have been clear to everybody that he wasn't clear himself on why he raised his hand and supported Gautam as the house' choice.
The most I can understand as the reason for his continued - I will not work - is that he's upset that he isn't the captain whereas the P3G group had agreed internally that it would be him as the captain. But that makes him appear like having a childish tantrum and not a STAND... However, his choice, of course. Plus his actions after taking that Stand are entertaining. So completely, lage raho...
