Recap :

"Just wanted to ask you something.." hesitantly says kriya.

" yeah bolo"

"Umm.oh..actually..I wanted to ask you...that.. that.. huh.. you never ... felt anything for me?"

PART : 4

It's been a week now, since that conversation happened between rey and kriya, she hasn't attended the college. Rey is desperately waiting for her to come to college, just to make sure she is alright. He is not worried about her health, he knows she is not well health wise. Continuously sitting in heavy rain for couple of hours has affected her health. But rey is worried about her mental status. Worried about how she is taking the situation and The conversation happened between them.

Whole college is doubting on rey. They are indirectly blaming rey for kriya's condition because they have seen that night in rain, rey and kriya talking. No one knows what they have talked exactly. Because rey didn't tell his friends what he told to kriya and same with kriya, she has not said to anyone about what they spoke that night.

Rey enters canteen thinking about kriya, a group of girls were directly blaming rey and the way they were talking shocked rey.

Girl : poor kriya. You know that's why I don't like rich boys.

Another girl : true but who can make kriya understand this. She herself is very rich you know, that's why may be she took rey seriously.

Another girl : but you know what, rey ko dekh ke lagta nahi hai ke, you know, he can hurt someone so much that she decides to quit the college.

The first girl : oh please. Boys from rich family can do anything. They don't think about others emotions.

Rey stopped in his track listening this conversation. He felt really hurt seeing people talk so bad about him and kriya quitting college..? no..no way. His thought process stopped listening the voice he was craving for since a week

Kriya entered canteen and she got angry listening the conversation. She was standing behind rey.

Kriya : what nonsense? (Bit loudly)

The whole canteen turned towards kriya with neha and vish at the canteen enternace.

Kriya : who told you all that I am quitting the college? And who said that reyansh had hurt me that day?

All stood silently because they knew how rey is. It's kriya's innocence and adoration towards her making people blame rey.

Rey is delighted to know that like others, kriya doesn't hold rey responsible for her condition. And most importantly she is back in the college. He was missing her craziness around himself. All the time pair of eyes following him, he was missing that. In short he missed her presence around him all the time. The past one week he never paid any interest in doing anything. He was becoming so absent minded that even if he was with his friends, he didn't know what they were talking most of the time. Everything was looking so blank to him. He didn't know what's happening with him.

Rey comes back to his senses when kriya starts scolding all the people in canteen. Grinning as if finally he got what he wanted, kriya, her presence, he turns toward her

Kriya : disgusting guys. Knowing me well, knowing reyansh very well, how could you blame him? You want to know what happened that night? Haan? Wanna know what he said to me?

Rey's expression changes immediately. He gulps. He didn't want to hurt her. That's why he spoke to her friendly that day to make her understand what she has been doing all the time.

Kriya : then listen. Reyansh made me realize how wrong I was to forget my dreams and goals in life and how stupidly wasting my time on unnecessary things. He told me to go back to my dreams.

Rey froze the moment he heard those things from kriya. Yes she is right, he told her to go back to her dreams. But now does it means she really goes back to her normal life and stops everything she did all these months? Does she forgets him and the craziness for him? Is it that easy for her? Rey comes out of his thinking process when kriya again starts speaking.

Kriya taking a deep breath " so I have decided to lead my original life. Be myself. Forget everything and focus on my life. That's why I took some time to think and come to some serious terms. Guys please, need your help. Stop blaming someone in all this. I am the person to be blamed in this whole scenario if you really want to judge and blame the culprit here. Please it's a request, stop gossiping on this topic. Please"

Everyone shouts "sorry girl" "sorry kriya" "sorry" to her. She just acknowledge their sorrys with a slight smile on her face. It's only then her eyes fell on the person standing couple of steps ahead and watching her seriously. It was none other than rey. He was watching her so keenly, her expressions, her dress, her hair tied in a loose bun, letting few strands of hair open in sides. She was looking pale. Wearing a frock, after almost 5 months.

Final year group has come to first year class just to have a friendly chat with them to make them comfortable with the seniors. It's just 2 weeks freshers joined the college.

One girl out of no where, asks rey about his dream girl or how he wants his girl should be. It created awkward situation for rey but after taking a long pause rey just smiles and says "I don't have any list of qualities I want in my girl but yeah I do get dreams of a girl whose face I never able to see in my dreams (few awww sounds came from girls, rey blushes at that and continues) but I just love the way she carry herself everytime in my dream, in simple jeans and long sleeves checked shirts"

That's it from next day on wards kriya was only seen in jeans and checked shirt. She forgot her dressing style and her favorite dresses.

Rey comes out of the flashback when kriya starts to walk towards him but he realizes she is not going towards him but about to pass him and move ahead

"Kriya"

She takes couple of seconds to compose herself and face him.. kriya looks at rey saying a pale "hey"

"Hi..um..wo.. ah (he didn't know why he is so hesitant to talk to her. Wrong word, not hesitant but nervous. Yes the great reyansh singhania for the first time nervous to talk a girl) huh. How are you?"

Kriya was nervous too but without showing it on face, she reply "yeah I am doing good now". She so wanted to elaborate her reply saying how weak she is feeling after a week of sickness, physically and mentally, but she controls herself. She felt happy seeing rey's concern for her but she doesn't want to feel it anymore or show it on her face. So before rey could ask something else she excuses herself saying "she should get going now" and left from there to order breakfast for her.

Rey stood there thinking what just happened "He was nervous to talk to kriya, why? Never mind.. And she, Miss Kriya Ghai, ignored him.. Really? Does she really trying to ignore him?..she can't. Yeah. She can't ignore him. She won't. Huh".. still thinking about the incident, rey went and joined his friends in the canteen.

Swayam : so?

Rey : munching his breakfast "what??"

Vicky : you finally succeeded in putting some sense into kriya.?

Rey doesn't reply to that. He becomes serious and turns to look at kriya, who is sitting with her friends in the corner table of canteen and having her breakfast chatting with her friends. Rey when saw kriya laughing on something her friends were saying, says

"Is it so easy for her?" He didn't realize he actually said those words.

Sharon : I know. It's not that easy for her I am sure. (Who was also looking at kriya. Sharon and kriya became friends in hostel. Sharon stays in opposite room of kriya in hostel.)

Rey realizing what he said "what Sharon? Huh. I don't know what you are talking about(turning to Sharon)"

Sharon : oh..umm.. forget it. I was just..you know.. talking about ...kriya.

Sharon didn't know things have changed with rey. Before he never used to talk about kriya. He never used to look at her. Even if his friends talking about kriya, he used to get irritated. His friends thought, rey doesn't like kriya because of her behavior around him. So now Sharon also thought rey didn't like she talking about kriya and he will get irritated again. Sharon was nervously looking at rey

Rey : "hmm.. I can understand... Excuse me" saying rey left the canteen.

Vicky and Swayam smiles looking at each other.

Bharat : kya tha bhe ye?

Sharon : I know, rey didn't get irritated for I speaking about kriya..I mean..wow..yeahh..wowww.(she was excited and happy for a moment but next second becomes sad) what's the use now.? Kriya decided to move on now.

Swayam shakes his head seeing Sharon talking to herself..

Kriya was talking to her friends in the college corridor, after couple mins saying bye to them she starts towards her classroom. Suddenly someone pulls her inside a door and locked the door. When kriya was about to shout, that person closed her mouth with his hand. Yes it was rey. Kriya was scared but when she realises who is that person, she slowly opens her eyes to find rey's face in front of her and she was pinned to wall. She then looks around to see where she's been dragged, Fire escape. Then she again looks at rey who was still standing in a same position, one hand on kriya's mouth and the other, on wall next to her head, his body pressed to her so that she can't escape.

Kriya slowly lifts her hand and removes rey's hand from her mouth.

Rey realizing what he was doing, moves two steps back.

Scratching back of his ear rey says "sorry..I didn't mean"

Kriya doesn't reply anything. She stands in the same position, supporting her body with the wall. Rey, that close, definitely she would've collapsed if she was not standing supporting herself to the wall. But for her the main concern was "why rey did that? She decided to go back to her dreams like he said but then why now? Why he has to make it difficult for her by talking to her and (looking around) pulling her in empty place?"

Rey wipes his face with his hands as if washing his stress from his head. Then turns to her

"You okay?"

Kriya just slightly nods in response.

"Listen kriya..I didn't do it purposely..I mean dragging you here. I just want to know ..I want to know ki..that...I mean..huh.. you really okay kriya?" Finally finishes his sentence with what's bugging him since canteen scene.

"Yeah I am fine. And.. sorry."

"Sorry? Why?" He just hoped kriya shouldn't be saying sorry to him for her behavior past few months. He doesn't know why but he doesn't want kriya to feel sorry for her craziness towards him.

"Ahh..umm wo..people blamed you unnecessarily. You know.."

"Oh (he sighs) that? It's okay. I really don't care what people think about me, I only care about my closed ones, what they feel about me. you know.."

Kriya looks at him as if trying to understand what he really meant. Rey thinks looking at her "or may be I also care about what YOU feel about me" then the very same thought startled him the next moment. He didn't know how that thought came in his mind. Next moment he finds himself leaving the place and kriya standing there hurt once again.

Kriya was trying to read rey's face when he said he only cares about what his closed ones feel about him. His expression was genuine when he said those words. Then his face was serious with slight smile but next moment the smile vanished and he was shocked and left the place. He didn't even say bye to kriya.

Kriya stood there for couple minutes thinking what just happened?. She still was in daze as what rey wanted from her? Why he pulled her into fire escape? And why he left abruptly, shocked? She was definitely hurt because the way rey exited from there as if she is nothing to him. But if so, then why he wanted to know how is she now? Wiping a lone tear she left from there.

kriya decided to move on..???
good going girl...ladke ke picha jitna bhago..door jayega ek bar ignore karo...bhagte hue aayega...
loved how kriya defended rey infront of all...her decision..changes...evrything...rey is getting badly affected...oh yeah..its time for role reversal...
