It's raining Salman Khan everywhere these days. Right from art exhibitions, movie premiere parties and, movies, Salman is back in action with a vengeance. Last night the superstar was in his best witty element while releasing the music of his debutant Hollywood venture Marigold! The sexy and suave Khan as usual made a late night entry and immediately sending the shutterbugs in a tizzy. But like a true entertainer he played to the gallery and happily declared Mera Character Kharab Hai, when someone asked him what's his character in the film much to the amusement of all.(😆 )The jam packed fun filled event saw the likes of Adlabs head honcho Manmohan Shetty, Pravin Nischol, directors Prakash Jha, Govind Nihalani, Ramesh Sippy, singer Shaan, actor Nandana Sen, Vikas Bhalla, music composers Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy and director of Marigold Willard Carroll gracing the event.
"It was great experience working in Marigold and especially with Willard. I am not quite good at dancing, so it was interesting to play a choreographer who teaches others to dance!" announced Salman in his trademark witty style. Next it was the turn of Director Willard to shower praise on Salman and he too didn't disappoint "Salman is a highly instinctive actor and that's why I chose him for the film, and we must not forget his ability to speak colloquial English. Besides I like the way Salman dances and his terrific sense of humour", added Willard.
Singer Shaan was also ecstatic about his brief appearance in his first Hollywood film! "I have sung three songs in this film and was great singing both Hindi and English. Before that also I had made few appearances in movies, but this is special since it's for a Hollywood film", he grins. Actor Nandana Sen said that she had a great time working with Salman in the film.
Overall, other than having to go through the torture of seeing the trailers of Marigold about a million times before Salman's arrival, the launch was entertaining and the music of the film seemed 'different'. Got to be seen how different the movie will be..
