IT WAS NOT HER MISTAKE COMPLETELY! SHE WAS JUST DANCING ON SOMEONE's KEYS, UNKNOWINGLY!

All turned to the entrance to see Akash and Payal standing there. Much to Arnav's surprise, ever calm and composed Akash was outraged.

Anjali: Akash? What are you saying?

Akash: The truth Anjali Di. I wanted to meet Jeejaji and Khushi ji for this. But looks like already 90% is out. So let me do the honors or introducing the main culprit.

Arnav was already numb at his mother's confession and he did not want another one, though this one is expected. Khushi just pressed his arms reassuring him and giving strength.

Khushi: First come in and sit Akash ji. Calm down and then speak. Becoming emotional will not help our situation.

Akash did not know how to react seeing Khushi's calm nature. She was just like his sister. Both see the situation and act without taking hasty decisions. Akash did as he was asked to. He and Payal sat opposite to Arnav on the couch while other's took their previous places around them but maintained grave silence and Arnav held Khushi's hands in his in a death grip.

Payal: Khushi ji! All played their own games and in all these it was you who was affected the most and may be still suffering. But behind all these small games the master mind was Daddy ji.

Khushi: Expected!

Akash: I know that you people are not surprised. But I am here to tell about the What's and Why's for all these.

Arnav: Cut the crap and straight to point Akash!

Akash turned to Aarthy who had her head hung till now.

Akash: Do you remember a corporate case in which Ashutosh uncle was a witness?

Aarthy: The one against some financial company for robbing people in name of financial help?

Akash: Yes the same. That was Dad's company.

Aarthy(gasped): But in court...

Akash: That was illegal company in someone else's name but actually was Dad's. That's why no one knew about his involvement in it and he took care to that know one knew it later too.

Arnav: Is this the same case in which the defendant had to return all the money to the public and also pay hefty fine to the court? Somewhat 2 decades before?

Akash: Yes Jeeju. The same case. As you know per the verdict, Dad lost so much of wealth and he had to go through Income Tax for clearance too as his name was in the share. Though he managed it well, still the loss was beyond repair and he was left with actually nothing. That time, my Nanu was a very honorable businessman in textile Industry. So to save his daughter's family Nanu came forward to help Dad. He gave Mom's all share of property in cash along with Nani's ancestral property as immovable. But for all these in return Nanu asked Dad not to have any more business relation with them. Dad felt so insulted. With the money he got, he again legally started a financial training and management center where he trained and adviced people for financial management. Mom was smart enough to catch his greediness. So she saved the immovable for Di and dad couldn't do anything as legally it was Mom's. So he concentrated on his business. Later only his intention came clear that his business center was to mainly attract one particular person.

Arnav: Which was Papa.

Akash: Exactly! Uncle wanted financial help and advice about his chain of restaurants which made him fall for Dad's HELP! Slowly Dad started getting close to Uncle much more than needed. This let way for their friendship beyond business which made Uncle give Dad a good share of profit to him without any legal paperwork as payback.

Arnav: And Papa let him do that!

Akash: Oh Jeejaji, Dad can be So persuasive if he wants and Uncle was so naive in believing him. That is how Dad managed to pull out Uncle's wish to have a chain of hospitality. Dad with his honey coated sweet talks made Uncle invest everything he had for his dream project.

Khushi: Was this a plan of his to divert him from his restaurants?

Akash: Hmm.. This gave Dad some space to plant his men in Uncle's restaurants and ruin it completely. And as expected they started to sink.

Arnav: Which in turn stopped the income for the AR as Papa invested the profit of Restaurants for AR.

Akash: Exactly!

Arnav: Exactly my Foot! Do you realize that you are saying that your father was sketching a goddamn plan to kill my father.

Arnav spat angrily scaring everyone. But Khushi caught his hand controlling him and eyed Akash to continue. Akash who saw Khushi got a little courage and continued.

Akash: Ashutosh uncle's death was unexpected even by Dad. But apparantly that's the truth. Dad did plan to completely finish Uncle financially.

Anjali: If that's what he wanted, then why did he plan to ruin Bhai? Why did he push Tara Bhabhi forcefully through Bhai's throat in name of marriage?

Yash: That was a sadistic thought of Mr. Choudary.

Akash: Though AR stilled with Uncle's death, much to Dad's annoyance, Jeejaji stepped in and being fresh blood and new graduate Dad knew that Jeejaji will manage to bring AR up. But as Yash ji said, Dad had this sadistic thought. He never like anything he destroyed to stand back. So He planned the same fate as he planned for Uncle. Emotional and mental disturbance.

Yash: For which, first he silently started pushing my parents for getting me married and the push was so big that, I had to marry Anjali in such a haste. This was not what I planned for us or I dint want to get married to her this way. I love her. I wanted to give her world. But Mr. Choudry knew his way with my parents well. After all same business money minded people they were.

Anjali: So much was happening Yash and you did not utter a word to me? And you Bhai?

Arnav: I wanted my Choti pinki to have all the world's happiness even if it was costing my life.

Yash: And I wanted to keep you away from all these tension. So without involving you, I made plans to make our marriage as simple as possible and i asked your bhai the same and I put my foot down and made my parents agree to it.

Akash: And this was something that Dad dint expect again. Still he was shrewd enough to tackle the situation. So he again poisoned Kulkarni's mind about their daughter in law coming to their family without anything in her name which may put their reputation at stake. Being orthodox family they fell for his words again. So without concern of their son, they started nagging Jeejaji for lavish Wedding and this house as wedding gift.

Anjali(gasped): This house... was asked?

Yash: Yes! Even I dint know it. Your bhai did not gift it on his own. Even during marriage as I refused it, he gave the papers to my parents and was planning to leave to Shimla with Tara Bhabhi. And he did all these so that you will be welcomed in my family with due respect. If Tara Bhabhi did not tell all these things, I would have never known. And whatever savings he was left with was used in our wedding. But he did not lose his faith in himself to fight for his dream AR.

Akash: That's what irked Dad more. He was waiting to pull out Jeejaji's another weakness. That's how he came to know about Khushi ji. She was his pillar of support giving him enormous support to keep fighting.

Khushi: And your father planned to put me out to make Arnav weak? For which he used his own daughter? what a excuse of Human he makes?

Akash: Sadly True Khushi ji. My Di loved Jeejaji since god knows when, but she never insisted on marrying him. I think she knew about you! But suddenly one day Dad asked her marry him and she agreed.

Arnav: What? She never agreed?

Akash: No! suddenly on the day before Anjali Di's wedding, Di agreed for the marriage. I don't know what she thought! But she agreed for marriage under the condition that Dad will finance AR.

Arnav: But I never agreed to get any such things!

Aarthy: That is when he came to me with Khushi's details. I liked her immediately. My Chote's choice is always the best. But along with her came the threat to Pinki's life as this house was with her father! So...

Arnav: So you thought of putting her out to save your daughter's life?

Anjali: Do you realize that she is also someone's daughter maa?

Akash: And Dad also dropped the information of this house being staked right? Then how come Aunty you fell for his words?

Arnav: Don't ask her anything. She could not think anything beyond her husband and not only her, we all fell for his ugly game Akash.

Akash: But as Dad thought, his marriage plan did not work much as it did not affect Jeejaji's shred mind that was working on setting up AR.

Khushi: So he did not actually plan to get Tara married to Arnav?

Akash: At beginning that was what he thought. But instead getting disturbed in work, he left the disturbing family and completely inclined to work. So he planned...

Arnav: To permanently plant the disturbance beside me. Your father is a pathetic human. Do you know he was planning to kill his own daughter after my father. How can he be so...

Arnav was shaking with mad rage with his eyes turning dangerously red. That was the time when his family actually witnessed the ASR anger which was saved only for the world. Arnav dashed out to the basement room in angry long strides. No one dared to go near him, not even Aarthy. But Khushi marched behind him to calm him.

Khushi: Arnav? Calm down!

Arnav: Why did we three have to go through all these Khushi? WHY? just because Papa was brave enough to voice against something wrong? Because I worked to fulfil my Papa's last wish? because Tara loved me beyond her physical incapability? WHY? Why Khushi Why?

He broke down on her shoulder holding her tight to himself as if she will absorb all these pains. Khushi was also going through the pain. If only she had been by his side than leaving him! But right now she had to take care of her breaking Arnav. She slowly ran her hand on his hair back soothing him. Once he was calm, she took him to one of the couches there and settled in it holding him close to her. She tried to take his face from her crook but he wouldn't look at her. Angry, anguish and all emotions flowed from his eyes as tears.

Khushi: Arnav! Look at me.

She commanded lovingly. But he shook his head like child in denial. He felt ashamed of what he did to Khushi when she also suffered equally.

Khushi: Look at me Arnav. You dint do anything that you should be ashamed off. See in my eyes like my Arnav does. I know that he is there hidden behind this angry ASR mask.

A small smile made his way to his lips. Only his Khushi knew her way to him in any hard situation. ASR can never overpower the Arnav in him when she is there with him. Alowly he looked in to her eyes and he did melt down.

Khushi: You love me!

It was a statement not a question.

Arnav: Only You!

Khushi: You know I love you!

Arnav: I.. know!

Though his voice went low but the hazel orbs made him confident.

Khushi: That's it. All that we came across was just a test that the life threw at our feet.

Arnav: But we parted!

Khushi: Only to meet again. And this time forever!

Arnav: But Tara!

Khushi sighed.

Khushi: I agree that Tara was innocent to be involved in all these. But this was meant to happen this way Arnav. And it happened. We cannot change the fact Arnav. She paved a path for us to meet again and blessed us with Ansh. I don't know much about her but Arnav, i know this much that she never wanted you to be like this.

Arnav wanted to say something but Khushi stopped him.

Khushi: Arnav, Akash ji is waiting for us. just like you wanted this weight off your shoulders, he would also want the weight of his father's sins off his shoulders. Let us make it easy for him. But remember, he is as much innocent as we are.

Arnav: I know Khushi! I have been punishing wrong people till today. I wont do that again.

Khushi: Good. Now lets go. Come!

SAying she took him back to the living room where all were there. All others were not at all surprised to see Arnav calm contrast to what he was a few minutes before, as they know that Khushi was capable of this. But certain people were ashamed to see the level of understanding trust and love they held for each other.

Akash: Jeejaji...

Arnav: Akash, without wasting much time, count all the criminal deeds of your father. I don't want to extent this and Aditya cannot be wandering around in malls and parks with my kids.

Arnav spat. Akash hung his head while Payl placed her hand on his shoulder reassuring him.

Akash: I understand. I am sorry.

Arnav: SOON!

Akash: Jeejaji, Dad was never much fond of Di as he always wanted a male child, his heir. So he never cared about her much. That's why he happily married her off to you for his own vengeancful reasons. But he never intend her death. As much as Uncle's death was unexpected for him, Di's was too much unexpected. The actual truth is that, Di was never his target to kill.

Khushi's wide eyes turned to Akash's as she tried to understand his words. Akash who saw this blinked his eyes confirming her thoughts.

Akash: Yes Khushiji, Dad's actual target was Jeejaji!

An eerie silence crept over the place.

BJ: WHAT? Why did everything stop here? DEvi?

DM: I did not. Meenu has stopped!

Meenu: Yes! I did. Exam time Bhagwan ji. So help me with preparations 😉 This can wait.
