The poolsidewa, you and i have chatted about the curls before😆...like i yabbered on eons ago, i find the curls and that cute little clip very becoming on her...willingly suspendiya disbelief, of course, at the plushness of outfit and a hairdo that would've taken hours to put together and certainly not the isstuff of local parlour sharlour. But she needed to look special there, and she did. (And oh my god how fab did he look!! No disbelief there.)

I see your point about her unexpectedly expressing such heartbreak at her broken engagement..and i just read what Indus has said about significance of faith and trust in a self-respecting middle class set-up, and her possibly being upset on account of her family and their emotions...i agree with that too. But here's my thing, and believe me when i say that cos i do know this... it's a complicated sentiment, somewhat "burdened by tradition", this one.. A broken rishta penetrates your insides in unimaginable and unpredictable ways. In the back of your head you may have a soft but sure voice echoing that this was never meant to be, what's happened is for the best. You may not even be madly in love with the guy. It still slowly treks its way into your sense of self, and to your heart. As girls in this country, and certainly in others too, we grow up with notions of marriage that go deeper than one's own beliefs and worldview. When the time comes, i think it seizes all of us. And once the heart is opened up to possibilities and wishes and desires one didn't even know one had... something happens when it's called off (even if you called it off yourself or "wanted it to happen", like you say for Khushi). And the realisation and hurt of it can be entirely immediate, though that's probably rare... it's more likely to surface in a fit, mixed up with another emotion. I'd like to believe it's the latter in Khushi's case.

Sure, in the scene, it's not so brilliantly done. It seems manufactured to make the Raizada aware of her being single again...and to sneakily steer the conversation away from Lavanya-ASR and back to Arnav-Khushi.

But i will not deny that i still end up engrossed and re-engrossed in the moment, and keep losing track of the whys and the hows...i feel a great sense of unburdening and of caring in the scene.

Arnav and Khushi' eternal heaven, by the poolside Arnav keeps flirting with Khushi. He deliberately blocks Khushi's way for some times. He glances at her with amusement and his eyes flicker with a lazy smolder in their depth. His warm gaze is lancing through her aura makes her face suffuses with rosy color.

She is very much aware of her charms and can see it's effect on her handsome husband.

He jeers her with his caramel eyes agleam with humor,

"wow Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada ko sharmana bhi ataa hai."

He makes her crimson more by his mischievous smirk. Khushi tries to veer her looks down, cause she can't look in his eyes in coyness.

Arnav takes a sudden step towards Khushi, making her instinctively walks backward, what she always does. He quips, with a naughty grimace,

"Khushi it's high time, when I move forward and you stop gong back. You have to learn to move along with me."

Khushi looks at his eyes with shyness. His eyes glimmer and playfulness gathers as his smile remains steadfast at his lips. She smiles shyly as the familiar magnetism of his presence enamors every sinews of her body. She intends to leave, but again he blocks her. she looks at him with a question in her eyes. Finally he lets her go. She looks back with a sweet shy smile. He also smiles with satisfaction and their smiles mingle. Arnav stares at her gait and mutters,

"That's what I wanted, a smile on your face."

Khushi is his love, she endured immense grief and agony since she met him and gave so much in this relationship, now when finally they are together, he will always try to make her happy.

While Khushi was cooking in the kitchen HP comes with a food tray; Anjali refused to eat breakfast. Khushi gets tensed to hear this. She also can't go to her room to request her to have breakfast. So she asks HP about nani and mami. But both are not at home. So Khushi doesn't find any other option but to go to Anjali's room with breakfast.

Oh Gosh, what a faux pas she did, now she will face the wrath of the raizada clan.

Forlorn Anjali is watching her pics with Shyam. She still is in denial that her husband actually is a good fellow. When Khushi knocks the door, she says that she doesn't want to meet anybody. Without pondering her words, Khushi enters her room with food. She tries to avoid Khushi. it seems her predominating thought rankling in her mind. She says Anjali with remorse that she knows she is extremely hurt and it's obvious that it happened because of her. She literally implores her to eat her meal.

"di, whatever anger you have inside you, be angry with me. But don't refuse to eat like this. To see you in this condition, Arnavji gets terribly hurt. You must know how much he loves you."

Aww how much she cares her Arnavji, she just can't see him in pain. How lucky is Arnav to get such caring wife!

Anjali still is silent, trying to be reticent with her. But Khushi continues,

"di, please don't punish you like this. There is a life developing inside your womb. Why you are punishing him! For the sake of him, please eat something." she begs her with teary eyes, tries hard to make her understand more,

"That what you wanted, you will have a beautiful baby who will make your life blissful with her lovely smile. Just forget whatever happened with Shyamji. That is your past, but this baby is your future what will always be with you. This is the ray of hope for a bright life. A new life is waiting for you di. Just think of your baby di and take care of yourself."

Khushi leaves and Anjali breaks down in tears holding her stomach. All her wounds are still raw and bleeding.

To see clutching her stomach I thought she will be more protective towards her baby. Cause right now the baby can be the reason of her survival and happiness. But I was wrong, Anjali actually is a relentless woman who thought to kill her unborn baby. How could she forget that she was carrying a child inside her womb. She can starve, but her baby can't. I think she was at her 7^th month. And in this stage a baby needs more food and nutrition. Anjali has become so blind in her husband's love that she was torturing her own baby. Khushi just said her the right words, she tried to make her understand, she didn't tell anything than could make her hurt. Later when the whole family including Mr. Raizada berated her with afflictive words, my inner rambling stumbled to a halt, why these people are so insensitive and unreasonable!

Akash and Arnav come back from the office. Arnav took doctor's appointment for Anjali and he requests Akash to take her, as he thinks she will not agree to go with him. He knows di is upset with him.

When Akash comes to Anjali's room, she was not there. He gets scared not to find her anywhere.

While Arnav was sitting in the living area, waiting for his black coffee, Khushi comes there with a crestfallen face. Arnav asks her why she is looking sad, is everything alright. Khushi was about to speak about Anjali then Akash intervenes, calling Anjali's name. Arnav gets worried; he asks him what's the matter. Akash says she is not in her room. Arnav thinks she must be somewhere inside the house. They start to look for her everywhere. mami and nani also come from the mandir that time. They also are tensed to hear Anjali's missing news. Nani starts to cry, what happened to this family, whose portentous eyes fell on them?

After searching her in every single place in the house, Arnav tries her number, but her phone is also unreachable. He recollects her pensive state after what happened with Shyam on the previous day. She said she wanted to stay alone and refused to eat when he took breakfast for her. Arnav's tension intensifies and he utters, "di where are you?"

mami is awe-inspiring where she can go!

HP let them know that some while ago he saw Anajli going out by auto. Arnav rebukes him, why he didn't stop her. Akash asks him did he hear where she was going? But HP was not so near, that's why couldn't hear where she was going. Arnav can't wait any more; he needs to go out to find her right now. Akash also wants to accompany him. But Arnav wants him to stay in the house. Nani convulses, in such a big city, where he will find her? Arnav is confident that he will find her and gets her back safe and sound. Khushi also wants to go with him. But nani admonishes her.

What the! This is too much. I just couldn't expect this from nani. Did she think she is guilty, that to see her face, their Anji baby will deny to come back home!

Arnav feels bad that nani retain her to go with him. So he gives her an assuring nod to listen to her. And my angel took it sportingly, didn't take it in her heart. She is really an angel. I wish if I could be like her. She tells Arnav if he gets any news he should let them know.

Before going out Arnav asks the watchman did he see Anjali going out? He saw he went out one hour ago, but doesn't know where did she go.

While leaving the premise, an autowala blocks his way, Arnav gets mad and asks the security to get him out. The man actually came to take his fare. Arnav thinks he can be the autowala who took Anjali the place where did she go. And his assumption is right; he took the woman with a limp to DN nursing home. But she left without paying him the fare. Arnav cowers to hear this and drives as fast as possible towards the nursing home.

Anjali is sitting in the corridor of the nursing home, recalling whatever happened with her life. Arnav slapped her husband and got him out from her life. And he said that he had to do it for her child. Her pensive eyes get murky with hurt and extinguished embers of defeated anger.

Doctor calls her in. She tells the doctor that she doesn't want the baby. The doctor is in utter shock that can't hear Arnav's phone call. Arnav is mad at the doctor for not receiving the call.

Wasn't it weird that when Arnav didn't reach her cell, he didn't try the land line number of the nursing home! Or why the doctor didn't have any nurse with her? Normally if we go to a doctor's office always a nurse accompanies the doctor who assists her to take weight, check BP and all. All the weird things happen in IPK.

The doctor is dumbfounded to hear that Anjali wants to kill her baby. Anjali says with pain and confidence that she doesn't want this baby and asks her what she should do to abort this child?. Doctor retorts her, whatever she wants it's not possible. To see her woebegone state, she anticipates that something is wrong. She asks her about her husband? And why she is taking such hasty decision? But Anajli is firm in her decision. the doctor can't fathom, she wanted this baby so much, then why she wants to abort the child now?.

mami is panicking where did Anjali go in this condition? Akash is calling all their know people, where anjali could go. But she is nowhere. Payal also is trying to help them to locate her.

Nani is consternating who went to her room after she left. So far she remembers nobody went to her room, then what happened to her that made her go out from the house. Oh nani, give your 2 years old baby Anji a pacifier .Mami also didn't go. Nani asks Payal, did she go? Mami doesn't believe her and she asks Khushi did she go? Nani says she didn't go, because she forbade her to go to her room.

Khushi is an honest girl and as she knows she didn't commit any crime to go to feed her, she tells with hesitation that she went to her room. To hear this, nani looks at her with darting eyes, as if she did a serious crime. Khushi says she went to talk to her. She can't complete as they hear Akash is talking on the phone about Anjali. They all scurry fast to him to know the matter. Akash tells them that Anjali is fine, she went to nursing home and bhai is with her. All are ambiguous, why she went to nursing home suddenly!

Doctor refutes Anjali, she can't support her in this decision, or it's wrong according to the law. Anjali is impervious, she already made her decision. Doctor also needs her husband's agreement too, cause she is a married woman and her family's decision is also important. Anjali gets more obdurate, if she can't help her she will go to some other place. She leaves. The doctor calls her incessantly to stay back, she can see, she is not in a good condition.

pause: I am asking again is abortion possible at 7^th month of pregnancy? The baby inside her womb is not just an embryo but a living human child. What of kind of mother she is that wanting to kill her own baby! She was not only weak, but she was inexorable. And an adult woman in mid thirties just made the whole family panicked like hell.

Arnav comes to the nursing home and starts to look for her like crazy.

Nani is upset with Khushi that in spite of her admonishment, she went to her room! Khushi tells her she was not at home and Anjali was not eating anything, so she thought to be with her. She goes to hold nani to comfort her. But mami gives her a contemptuous look and rebukes her to leave. She tells Khushi as nani was not at home she was here, then why she didn't ask her or tell khoon bhari tang. she is enraged and tells nani that she knew well that these two sisters only can ruin the happiness of the family, but can't do anything else.

Mami's paltry remark is unbearable.

Anjali is trudging slowly towards the corridor. God knows where her demented thought is taking her! The doctor is still calling out her name incessantly. Arnav is also in the corridor of the nursing home and looks aghast; did he hear the doctor or did he see Anjali!
