The naughty rays of sun reached Navya's face which made her wake up. She was not shocked to see herself in her husband's arms but suddenly she got the memories of the last night. She thought, " So he came searching for me, last night! He is not so bad, I guess!" She frred herself from her husband's grip and came out of the bed to freshen herself up. In the restroom, she saw herself in the mirror and was shocked to see herself in Salwar Kameez and his marks, which he proudly called, marks of his way of love or manliness, all over her neck and cleavage which made her realize what had happened last night. She stormed out side the restroom and the the bang with which the door was closed made Anant get up. He immediately got up and stood in front of her as the Anger was clearly visible on her face and he was sure that she will take it in the wrong way if he didn't explain what happened last night to her. He said,
" Navya, pehle meri baat--"
" Kya kahenge aap, Mr Bajpai? Apni Patni ko, behosh dekh khe roka nahi gaya aap ko?"
" Aisi koi baat nahi hai, Navya! Tum mujhe galat samajh rahi ho woh..."
" Haan, maine galat samjha hai!!! Aap se umeed rakh khe galti ki hai maine! Aap main meri liye samman hai soch tha!! Galat hoon main!"
" Rukho, Navya! Baat to sunn lo!" he said feeling his anger rising
" Mujhe Kuch nahi sunna hai!! and was about to go out of the room when Anant held her wrists and pinned her to the nearby wall and said,
" Jab main baat karna chahta hoon! To sunna seekho!"
" Mera bhi Astiv hai, Mr.Bajpai!! Aur main aapki baat sunna nahi chahti" listening to this Anant's grip on her hands got tightened, which made tears make their way from her eyes and Anant was shocked with that while she spoke as blood came out as bangles broke,
" Yahi chahte hain na aap!! Mera maan le liya hai aapne!! Kaise kar sakte hain aap aise!!! Why did you do it? Bhagwan ke liye uttar dijeye!! What instinct made you do this? Lust? Proof of your ego? or..." When Anant captured her lips to silence her. It was not an aggressive kiss but a one which calms her with right amount of love, concern, passion and desire. He kissed her deeply while she didn't respond but she did calm down. Her heart beats though were very high her breaths came to control. After breaking apart he said,
" You want to know the reason right? So listen!! You were drenched in water and were having high fever! How could I let you sleep in that condition? And those marks are present because you lost your temperature drastically and Doctor couldn't make it here so what was I supposed to do? Watch you die? In front of my eyes?"
" You should be happy then, right? You don't want me and you see me as thing and a possession!! Why did save me then?"
" I am your husband, Navya and I love you, dammit!! How could I let you die? I would die if something were to happen to you"
