Abhi, Ally and Aakash were waiting at Ally's place for Pragya to come.
"Hey Aaliya, did Pragya say something about bringing someone else with her to this?" Abhi inquired.
"No Bhai, why do you ask?"
"Well I guess we will find out soon enough," Abhi mumbled to himself and walked away
"There she is!" exclaimed Aakash.
"Hey guys , what's up?" Pragya said as she entered the apartment and hugged Ally.
"Hey, don't I get one?" asked Aakash cheekily
Pragya just laughed and shook her head at him. "Guys, I brought a colleague along if that's not a problem, the more the merrier right?"
"Yeah, but who is it?" Abhi quickly followed up.
Pragya pulled her guest in from the hall. "Everyone, meet Dr. Suresh!"
She continued with her formal introduction, "Suresh, meet everyone! That's Aaliya my best friend, that's Aakash, he is, um well Aakash! And that's Abhi, Abhishek, who is Aaliya's brother."
"Aaliya's brother, that's all I am to her?" Abhi questioned in his head.
"And her friend!" Abhi butted in and shook hands with Suresh. Abhi wondered why he was feeling like a little school boy whose friends was talking to someone else and he was getting all worked up and jealous! Jealous?! Whoa no that couldn't be it...
They all met and quickly went over to Bulbul's to help her with unpacking and setting up like promised.
"Hey BB, we are all here!" shouted Pragya. She opened the door which was left ajar.
Bulbul came to greet them all. "Oh, hey guys! C'mon in!"
----Everyone is busy unpacking boxes and organizing.----
Suresh : Bulbul, you are looking for a roommate ?
BB : Yeah, why?
Suresh : I have this neighbor who was asking me to find a room for her relative who is moving into the city and he is about our age group and a trustworthy lad, I could find out more if you're interested?
BB : Oh yes that would great! I could use the help and the money.
Suresh : Great, just put your number in my phone and I'll call you?
BB : Sweet! Thanks!
Aakash : BB where does this candlestick thing go?
BB: was about to say something but gets cut off
Ally: On top of the drawer case by the bookshelf on the white tablecloth and please keep it at -
Aakash and Abhi say all together: exactly a 45 degree angle!
Pragya and BB and Suresh laugh!
Ally : Hey! Don't mock me!
-After 40 minutes of unpacking and effective organizing the gang take a break and hang out at the cafe-
Pragya: I will go get some coffee, be right back.
Abhi: Um I'll go get some coffee too excuse me.
Abhi : So, Suresh , Dr. Suresh, nice guy huh?
Pragya : Erm, Yeah he is. Why, are you interested? She winks at Abhi.
Abhi : Yeah, I mean - no! Pragya!
Pragya : What, I'm just messing with ya
Abhi : So, are you interested?
Abhi hated himself for asking this cliched question because he was so forward in his thinking and always believed that a girl and a guy can be good friends but when it came to pragya and this double battery oops Dr double battery he wanted her to say no!
Pragya : Yes! I mean, I find him interesting, but not in the 'I wanna date him' kinda way!
Abhi : THAT'S GREAT! I mean, oh okay I get it.
Pragya : You okay rockstar?
Abhi : Yeah I'm fine! Let's go back to the gang.
Suresh : Okay I gotta get going , nice meeting you guys, Bulbul I'll keep you updated!
BB : Thanks Suresh!
Everyone : Bye! Nice meeting ya!
Pragya : I'll see you tomorrow Suresh, I have no more classes today! Bye.
They all get talking on random and fun things and BB feels part of this friendly gang!
------- Back at BB's----
Bulbul gets a text message from Suresh saying he has an offer for her! The message read
"Hey can't talk now but Purab Khanna wants to meet with you for the apartment and should I give him the details, I'm forwarding you his info so let me know ASAP" - Suresh
BB read Purab's biodata. He was very self-made and decent, a business man...well, an upcoming business man...She decided to go ahead and message him to set up a meeting and open house!
