It's been three days since maan learnt the truth... But he never visited her again... Nor called her... Geet was somewhere impatient... About maan's behaviour... He was expecting him to do atleast some thing... But he was quiet... 

Dadi - r u sure maan... Will this work...

maan - yes dadi... Geet Humare Saath kaam Karne se inkaar karr sakti hain... Aur main uspe Danav Nahi daala Chahta... Aur yehi ek rasta hain Jo geet ko iss contract se jode rakhega... Aur Woh Naa Nahi keh payegi...

Maan took her blessings and went away...

It's was post lunch and she was sitting in her home office... She is now working from home only... To avoid questions about her pregnancy... Most of the meeting are also done at her place only...

Geet sat leisurely and watched TV... She was flipping channels... Suddenly something caught her eye... A flash news about khurana constructions... And a press conference in a short while... Geet started watching and soon maan appeared on the screen... He addressed the press...

MSK - I am here to announce the new venture of KC...

Reporters - another five star hotel...

Maan nodded in no...

Reporter - elite apartments ...

Maan - no..

Reporters - then what... A new group of villas...

Maan - all ur guesses are wrong...  Our new venture is home for the aged... We are construction a new community homes for the aged... This is a gated community and will provide everything... A two bedroom house, hospital, Jim, shopping, walking tracks, swimming pools, meditation centres, security... Every thing that is needed for the aged... Maan explained every aspect of the venture... Generally which he never does... It's his staffs duty.. But this is special...

Geet breadth caught in her throat... It's her dream... Her fathers dream... And maan is making it into reality...

Flashback...

Maan was sitting with geet in his lap... They were at the site office... And maan was being naughty... She was not leaving geet for a second also... Geet has a fear of someone coming...

Geet - maan yaha se xyz place kitni door hain...

Maan still kissing her neck - kyun geet... Kya hain waha...

Geet - maan plz... Chodiye na... Koi aajayega...

Maan - koi Nahi aayega... Ab Batao kaun hai waha...

Geet - koi Nahi hain... Waha hamari ek land hain... Woh ek baar dekhne jaana hain...

Maan - pata Lagana padega geet...

Geet - toh ... Phone kijiye ...

Maan - umm... Abhi Nahi baad mein jaayenge... Abhi mujhe bohut zaroori kaam hain... He opened her shirt and threw it away... Geet shied but also panicked... Maan - plz... Give me my shirt... Koi bhi aa sakta hain...

Maan - geet yeh lunch time hai ... Aur koi Nahi aayega... Maine orders dediya ki koi bhi Nahi disturb karega... Ab mujhe pyaar Karne do... Do din hogaye hain...

Geet - giving into his demands...said. - . Toh kisne kaha tha jaane ke liye...

Maan - ab no more questions... Only actions he winked and started kissing her hungrily... Geet could do nothing but submit her self to maan's demands...

An hour later...

Maan and geet are traveling in their car to see the land... They reached the place and geet showed him the land...

Maan - umm... Kaafi bada land hain... Yeh kis liye  liya...

Geet - yeh papaji aur tauji ne mil kar liya hai ... Unka sapna hain ki yaha ek gated community construct kiya jaaye for the aged... Infact Woh dono bhi retire joke yehi rehna chahte the... She said with moisted eyes... Maan hugged her ... Aur yeh ab mera sapna hain...

Maan - umm... Land toh bada hain... Par gated community ke liye chota pad jayega... Agar yaha construct karna hai toh sab kuch hona chahiye..   yeh shehar se thoda door hain... Maan gave his input and geet listened with great interest...

Reporters - mr. Khurana by this project u r saying that parents should not be with their children...  

Maan - it's absolutely wrong on ur part to think like that... And the truth is I stay with my dadi, uncle and aunt...I know the value of parents... I am doing this venture for those who cannot be with their parents... I have seen many aged couples who are alone as their children are either abroad or some where else... My venture provides everything for such people... 

Reportes - but you are not into charity... 

Maan said sternly - it's not charity... It's someone's dream and I am making it into reality...Kisi ka adhure sapna poora karr raha hoon main...

Reporte - kaisa sapna mr. Khurana...

Maan - Woh waqt aane par khud saamne aayenge...

Reporters - in ur last venture handa interiors was ur partner,... Who is now doing ... Are they still with you...

Maan - yes we are still with them... KC is very pleased to work with HI&D ... So we are continuing... And even mails have been sent to the company... And now it's their decision whether to continue or not...

Geet was stunned at that part... She immediately opened her phone and checked her mails... Infact there is a mail from KC the previous day... She read it... They gave the details and contract also...

Geet didn't know how to react... She never thought Maan would ever consider her ideas... And this is a huge thing... This will not fetch him any thing... It's a big thing and KC  is never into these type of things... May be they donate some amount but this... Totally unexpected for geet... Why is maan doing this... Is this a kind of redemption for what he did...  Can this reduce his sins...  Definitely not ... Then why is doing all this... She continued to watch...

Reporters.. Mr. Khurana... Aap yeh kaha karr rahe hain... Matlab jagah...

Maan - xyz place... KC has acquired some land there and we are seeing for more land...I am sure we have enough land now... But would like to expand it...

Reportes.. But mr. Khurana... Don't you think it's a little away from city...

Maan - yes ... That's the reason I have chosen the place... It's away fron city and aged people need peace... It's close to nature and they will love it...

Reporters - mr. Khurana dou you think... It's possible ... Coz they have to run back to city for every thing...

Maan - I have mentioned earlier... That it will have every thing... From shops to hospitals... From meditation centre to parks...  So they need not run around... If emergency is there they will be brought immediately with out any delay...

Geet stared at the TV screen... She didn't knew her fathered dream is this big... Or is it maan making it big... It's true that her father wanted to construct a home for the aged... But may  not this much big scale... He didn't tell all this when she showed him the land... He just told about the possibilities and the revenue needed ... She backed off at that time coz she didn't have that much money to spend on this as she donated huge amount to the cancer hospital... She didn't know how to react... Whether to be happy that maan is fulfilling her wish or be mad at him...

Maan gave a small interview and the press meet was done... Geet was still in dilemma... How to react... It's impossible to ignore him... And he played his cards well... Now with her fathers dream project she can't neglect him... Is she ready to face maan once again... She didn't know... She doesn't have anyone to share her pain... She didn't say any thing to her badi maa... As she was already in so much pain and she didn't want to add to that... Pammi didn't question her but took care of her ... 

Evening time...

Geet was looking at the person in front of her...  she has a mixed feeling... One one side she is reminded of his dhoka... And the other side the afternoon events came in front of her eyes...

Maan looked at his dadi... Dadi encouraged him to confess...

Maan - main janta hoon geet ... Tum mera chehra bhi dekhna Pasand Nahi karogi... Aur Nahi mujhse koi bhi rishta rakhna chahti ho... Professional ya personal... Is liye main koi zabardasti Nahi karoongi... Tum apni marzi ke malik ho... Tum chahte toh iss project se hat sakti ho... Lekin main isse poora karoongi... Yeh samajhlo ko ye mera pehla kadam hain apni redemption ki taraf... Tum Jo kahogi main Woh karoonga... Tum Jo saza dogi usse maanne ke liye main tayyar hoon... Agar tum police mein complain karogi toh main apne aap ko unke hawala khushi khushi se karoonga... Yah phir mera chehra dekhna bhi Nahi chahti toh Woh bhi karoonga... Apna chehra kabhi Nahi di khaoonga... Ab Faisla tumhare baat mein hain... Maan completed looking down... He didn't dare to look into her eyes... He stood with his head lowered from the time he entered...

Geet stood quiet... She is seeing maan in a different light... She always saw him as an arrogant business man... A sweet friend... A passionate lover... And even a ruthless man when he broke her heart...  But he never did apologise to any one... And here he is standing with his head down... Somewhere she didn't like it... She looked at the elderly lady... Whom he introduced as his dadi... Savitri Devi... She is elegant and at the same time she has a warmth... She could feel the kindness on her face... She wondered is she really his dadi... As both are different in many ways...

Dadi who stood silent from the time of entering thought that the time has come ... She has to intevine and guide them... It's would be their decision... But she should tell some facts to geet about maan... 

Dadi - geet beta Kya ham aapse kuch der akele mein baat karsakte the hain Kya...

Geet wondered.. What this lady will talk... She looked at maan... Maan was still in the same position... Geet looked back at dadi and nodded... Savitri Devi... Told maan to go out and she will call him after her talks... Maan nodded and went away...

Savitri Devi went to geet and said... Beta hum waha bait henge... Hum zyaada der khada reh Nahi sakte... Hamare knee operation hua hain... Aur abhi bhi dard hota hain...

Geet - sorry madam... Main mr. Khurana ko dekh ke react hi Nahi karr paayi... Aap plz baithi ye... Aap kuch lenegi...

Dadi - thank you beta... Humse akele mein baat Karne ke liye aap maan gayi...

Geet - kahiye... Aap Kya kehna chahti hain... Agar aap mr. Khurana ko...

Dadi - hum maan ki taraf daari Karne Nahi aaye hain... Hum jaante hain unhone Jo kiya Woh maafi ke laayak Nahi hain... Aur hum ko rok engle bhi Nahi... Aap Jo saza dena chahti hain unhe de sakti hain... Par hum kuch aur baat karna chahte hain,...

Geet nodded... Dadi continued... Kya maan ne aapko kabhi bhi apni family ke baare mein bataya... Geet -ji nahi... Bas ek baar kaha ki Woh akele hain...

Dadi - Haa... Woh akele hain... Sid ke jaane ke baad toh Woh aur bhi akele hogaye hain...yeh baat aapse kaun behtar jaa Sakta hain ki jab apna koi hame chodke chala jata hain... Geet nodded...

Dadi - maan hamare bade pote hain... Hamare bade bete... Rajveer aur shikha ke bte hain... Aur Sid hamare doosre bte Rajeev aur shalini ke bte hain... Woh maan se kareeb do saal chote hain... Humari ek poti bhi thi... Annie...  Maan jab 8 saal ke the tab rajveer, shikha aur Annie ka accident mein maut hogaya... Dadi said remembering the incident that changed maan completely... Geet gasped... She didn't know that maan lost his parents at such early age... Dadi continued... Uss haadse ne maan ko poori tarah badal diya... Woh introvert hogaye... Bas apne aap mein hi rehte the... Bas ek Sid hi tha Jo unhe hasa Sakta tha... Dono bhaiyon mein bohut Gehri dosti thi... Dono ek dosre ke liye jaan dete the... Jaise jaise bade hote Gaye... Dono aur bhi kareeb aagaye... Maan toh Kisi se bhi dosti bhi Nahi karte the... Woh hamesha akeli hi rehte the... Unhe bas apne kaam se matlab tha... Collage mein bhi aise hi the... Main gin ke baat sakti hoon jab Woh apne collage friends ke Saath bahar Gaye honge... Aise the maan... Sid London Gaye apni padhayi poori Karne... Aur unhone waha KC ka branch sambhala... Shuru shuru mein Woh bohut ache kaam karte the... Lekin baad mein unka Mann business se hat Gaya... Hume pata Nahi chala... Lekin maan sab jaan kari rakhte the... Jab maan ne Sid se poocha toh unhone bataya ki Woh kisi Meethi Naam ki ladki se pyaar karte hain... Aur unka dhyan uss ladki par hain... Maan ne kuch Nahi kaha... Sid Meethi ki baat maan se share kiya karta tha... Jaise maan the Sid bilkul unke opposite the... Sid is very outgoing... Unhe ghoomna bohut acha Lagta tha... Aur Sid bhi maan se bohut pyaar karte the... Itna pyaar ki ek baar unki ek dost ne maan ko kuch kaha... Sid ne ussi samay apni dosti tod di usse... Aur jab tak zinda the baat hi Nahi ki usse... Sid pata hain ki maan akele hain aur unhe ek humsafar ki zaroorrat hain... Lekin maan kabhi Nahi maane...  sirf business aur Sid... Unki zindagi the... Tum samajh sakti ho... Woh Sid ke suicude ke shock se bahar Nahi aapaye... Maan ne kabhi Nahi roya... Apni parents ke jaane ke baad... Lekin jab Sid Nahi rahe toh Woh toot Gaye... Woh bohut rote... Lekin main jaanti hoon... Kyun ki Maine bhi kabhi uss daur se guzri thi... Maan ne bohut samjhaya... Woh apni chachi ko aise dekh ke toot Gaye... Kyun ki shikha ke jaane ke baad shalini ne hi maan ko support kiya... Kabhi kabhi toh usne Sid ko chodke maan ka Saath diya... Jab Sid London Gaye toh unhone kaha ki Rajeev aur shalini bhi saatha chale... Lekin shalini ne mana kardiya yeh keh kar ki Woh apne bade bte ko chod kar Nahi jaa sakti... Aisa tha unme pyaar... Tum socho yeh sab dekhe ke maan par Kya guzri hogi... Aur jab unhone Sid ka letter padha toh unka saara gussa Meethi pe aagay... Woh apni hosh kho baithe... Unhe pata hi chalraha tha ki Woh Kya karr rahe the... Agar Woh normal hote toh aisa kabhi Nahi soch sakte ek ladki ke liye...

Geet - Lekin mam... Yeh koi wajah Nahi hoti Kisi ko dhoka dene ki...

Dadi - Haa... Geet... Main manati hoon... Lekin halat ka bohut bada haath hota hain...hum Kya sochte hain ya karte hain Woh halat par hi nirbhar hota hai... Aur yehi halat... Meethi ko Woh sab Karne par majboor kiya... Unhone Jo bhi socha sid ke liye hi socha... Lekin Kya Woh yeh Nahi jaanti thi ki Sid kaisa hain... Sid kaunsi baat par kaise react karte hain...Sid ke Saath unka teen saal ka rishta thana... Woh dono toh Saath bhi rehte the na...Meethi ne toh yeh andaza lagaya ki Sid uske cancer ke baare mein pata chalega toh Woh sehen Nahi karr payenge... Lekin Woh yeh bhul gayi ki agar Woh chali gayi toh Sid jee Nahi payenge...

Dadi - aap mane ya na maane geet...The truth may hurt a little while... But a lie hurts forever... Meethi ke jhoot ne wahi kiya... Uske ek jhoot ne Sid ki zindagi leli... Woh jee bhi leta shayad Meethi ke khone ke gham mein... Lekin Meethi ki jhoot ne usse ... Geet gasped...

Geet - mam... Yeh Kya keh rahi hain aap... Meri di ne Sid ke liye hi socha... Aur aap...

Dadi - hum ilzaam Nahi laga rahe hain geet... Hum possibilities baat rahe hain...Sid kamzor the... Aur Woh chale Gaye... Lekin Kahi na kahi Meethi bhi zimmedaari hain ...Par sachayi yehi hain... Chote ho ya badhe... Jhoot jhoot hota hain... Aur main jhoot mein yakeen Nahi karti... Is liye yaha aayi hoon... Maan aur tumhari sachayi jaan kar...

Geet was thinking about dadi said... Kya Sach mein Meethi Sid ke maut ka zimmedaar hain... Lekin Meethi ne toh...

Dadi - sometimes the wrong choices bring us to the right place... Maan made a wrong choice of betraying you... But this choice landed up bringing us together... Abhi maan bohut pachtarahe hain... Main yeh Nahi kehti ki tum usse Maaf karo... Tum usse saza do... Tumhara haq hain Woh...

Geet - Nahi mam... I don't want to do anything with him...

Dadi smiled and said... Some times it's easier to pretend you don't care than to admit that it's killing you... 

Geet looked at SD shocked... This lady is saying everything which she is feeling... Like she can see throughout her... Her heart...

Dadi smiled... Naa.. Aisa kuch Nahi hain... Bas Humare tajurba zyaada hain... Is liye hum andaza laga sakte hain ki aap ki mann mein Kya hain... Ek aur baat hain geet... Maan Sach mein bure insaan Nahi hain... Maan aap se maafi maang rahe hai Aur aap Jo bhi saza denge unhe manzoor hoga... Hum aapse yeh Nahi kahenge ki aap unhe Maaf kare... Bas itna chahte hain ki aap unhe ek mauka zaroor de apne aap ko sabit Karne ka... True redemption is seized when you accept the future consequences for ur past mistakes... 

Geet - mujhe do din waqt dijiye mam...

Dadi nodded and went away... Maan also went with her... He was at the door listening to his dadi and geet...
