What I noticed today was that the writers have made two parallel sets of characters.
Kirti and Sukku. They both are attractive and know how to get their way, by whatever means. However, they both are hot-tempered, a bit dumb and both are players. (But somehow they are still my favourite)
Nisha and Umesh. Both are benders of Gender stereotypes. Umesh likes cooking, even though it isn't considered "manly" in India and then there's Nisha who despises dancing, girly clothes, etc. Both of them are fighting for their right to be their own person against their family. Umesh has his father. Whilst nisha had her grandfather. Yet both are more emotional, and care about others before themselves.
And both sets are polar opposites from each other. One example, when Umesh announced he had a girlfriend. For Kirti and Sukku, love is a game. They immediately laughed at Umesh. Whilst Umesh and Nisha are a bit more serious when it comes to love (I know Nisha isn't interested in romantics but she's still serious about love, she just doesn't believe that it'll happen to her.)
