Soon Aisha was standing in front of Rathod's cabin & Sakshi was sitting on her desk. Aisha turned back to see Sakshi who gave her thumbs up with a smile.

Aisha nodded & took deep breathe & knocked on the door & said, "May I come in Sir"

Rathod & Arjun looked at the door & found Aisha standing there; Rathod looked towards Arjun & Arjun nodded.

Rathod said, "Come in"

Aisha came in while lots of thoughts were roaming in her mind, she looked towards Rathod & then towards Arjun & from their gaze she knew that they want to know about the last night.

Rathod was about to ask her but Arjun gestured him to stop & listen why she is here, to which Rathod gave a glare to him but Arjun ignored it & asked Aisha, "Kuch kaam tha"

Aisha snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Arjun's voice & replied nervously, "Ha...Haan...woh...kuch kehna tha"

Arjun looked towards Rathod & this time Rathod said, "Kya"

Aisha took sometime before answering to them bcoz she was sure if she will answer with nervousness than these ACP's vll not take a minute to understand that something is wrong.

She took deep breathe & said, "Mein kal raat ko Pallavi ke ghar yani ke crime scene gayi thi"

Rathod & Arjun were shocked not bcoz they didn't know about her visit but bcoz they had not expected that she vll come forward on her own & will confess it.

There was a silence for some seconds but it was equal to minutes for Aisha, she didn't know whether to proceed further or not. She stopped thinking when Rathod asked her sternly, "Kyu???"

Rathod's reaction didn't surprised her bcoz it was quite expected, she again took a deep breath & replied, "kal raat ko barish aur building ke compound mein padi meethi ki wajah se mere foot prints ghar ke entrance pe ban gaye the jo meine uss waqt noticed nahi kiye the... jab mein raat ko pani pine ke liye utthi aur hall mein aayi tab dekha...mein usse saaf karni hi wali thi but phir kuch ajib laga...matlab un prints ka impression bilkul waisa hi tha jaisa hume crime scene pe mila tha...matlab ki sayad khoni ka weight, height, shoe size aur sayad shoe mere jaisi hi rahi hogi isliye impression bilkul mere shoes jesa aaya hai. ..kuch samajh nahi aa raha tha isliye office aa kar check kiya...computer pe match kiya...& it shows the same what I was thinking but phir bhi confirm ke liye crime scene pe jana jaroori tha...isliye wahan gayi thi "

Rathod & Arjun looked towards each other. from her whole explanation they came to know that she went there to confirm her doubt about the impression but what they couldn't understand was the urgency of going there at mid night without informing anyone.

Rathod asked, "Tumhare pass keys kahan se aayi"

Aisha was prepared for this question too thanks to Sakshi so she calmly replied, "Mein aapke cabin mein aayi thi keys lene but yeh (pointing to the cupboard which contains the evidences) lock tha...pehle socha ki aapko phone karu but phir socha ki jo mein soch rahi hu woh confirm nahi hai aur sirf ek doubt ke liye aapko aadi raat ko disturb karna thik nahi laga, socha ghar chali jati hu but mann nahi mana socha ki ek baar jake dekh hi leti hu isliye chali gayi"

Rathod asked, "Tumne mere sawal ka jawab nahi diya"

Aisha looked at him questioningly but then realized that he is right she has not answered his actual question, so replied, "Mere ek informer ke through ek chabi wale se..."

Rathod & Arjun both were annoyed of her lame answers. Both knew that there is something more behind her explanations which she has not told yet but they had to know, so Arjun asked looking at her, "Kuch mila wahan se???"

Aisha replied, "jaise hi mein wahan pahunchi mujhe yaad aaya ki Mumbai mein toh itne din se barish ho rahi hai aur woh foot prints ghar ke andar nahi balki bahar the jo barish ki wajah se mit chuke the...I thought of going from there...but tab tak chabi wale ne keys bana di thi...isliye socha ki agar aa hi gayi hu toh ek baar phir se ghar ke andar check kar leti hu, sayad koi sabot mil jaye jo uss din na mila ho ya phir hum chuk gaye ho...isliye anadr chali gayi aur pura ghar re-investigate kiya...but kuch nahi mila"

This reply satisfied Arjun as she was telling the truth about re-investigation bcoz toay in morning while scrutinizing the house he also felt that something was different.

But the biggest question that was poking inside both ACP's brain was WHY at mid night???

"But tumhe aadi raat ko jane ki kya jaroorat thi woh bhi bina mujhe ya Rawte ko bataye...Dammit...your explanation do not justify ur action Aisha"...This time Rathod had lost his patience & asked her in angry & loud tone while banging on the table.

Aisha got little scared bcoz she did not get the time to prepared herself to face angry Rathod & Arjun bcoz from the time Sakshi has forced her to say what she is going to tell these ACP's, she was in dilemma that whether hiding the truth is good option or not thus she is standing dumbstruck in front, not knowing what to reply but then she realized she has to answer & this time she going to tell the truth, atleast half of it.

Aisha replied frustratingly looking at Rathod for the first time since she entered in the cabin bcoz till now she was looking everywhere but not in ACP's eyes, "Kyunki humne abhi tak koi clue nahi mila hai khoni tak pahunchne ka...ek maa aur uske bete ko koi behremi se maar deta hai aur hum unke khoni tak bhi nahi pahunch paye...maan bhi le ki agar Pallavi ki kisi se koi dushmani thi bhi toh Mayank ko kyu maara...ek bache ki kisi se kya dushmani ho sakti hai...usne kisi ka kya bigada tha...din raat bus yehi dimag mein ghumta rehta hai ki kisne maara hoga...kyu maara hoga...kahin khoni humare haath se nikal na jaye...kahin agar hum ek massom ko insaaf nahi dila paye toh...(she paused for a moment to control the tears that were forming & continued as calmly as she could)...isliye aadi raat ko chali gayi thi bina soche ki mein protocols ko thod rahi hu"

She did feel guilty for bringing Mayank as an excuse but only she knew how much it killed her.

Though, her first reason to go there was to clear her doubts. But what she told Acp's wasn't exactly a lie. No matter what her first priority was/is/ will always be to provide justice to people. Yes she did go there for herself but when she saw the marking and blood, she couldn't help but think about the poor little kid who did nothing yet got murdered in cruel way. She may be less emotional but she is not cold.

This calmed Rathod & Arjun's anger to the great extend as Aisha was right it has been 3 days & still they are not able to get the culprit moreover they are use to of seeing dead bodies but seeing a kid's body is really difficult in spite of being in this profession for so many years they themselves get bit emotional seeing a kid's dead body than how can they complain about others.

There was a complete silence in the cabin after Aisha's outburst bcoz everyone was thinking about the same person i.e. Mayank.

After good few minutes Arjun said while looking at her, "Aisha"

But Aisha neither replied nor looked at him, Arjun looked towards Rathod who was also looking at her, both nodded to each other & Arjun again called her this time a bit loudly as well as politely, "Aisha"

This time Aisha looked at him & he said, "Its ok...abhi tum jao...we will talk later"

Aisha nodded & turned back to go but stopped by Rathod call, "Aisha"

Aisha turned towards him & he said, "Don't worry...hum jald hi khoni ka pakad lenge"

Aisha nodded & was about to turn back again but Rathod continued, "And please don't do this again"

Aisha nodded & went outside while Arjun gave a tough hard glare to Rathod for his gyan in the end but Rathod gave him I-DO-CARE-FOR-PROTOCOLS' look, Arjun shaked his head in total disbelief & went out.

When Aisha came out Sakshi dragged her to cafeteria. Once there were only 2-3 persons left in cafeteria Sakshi asked to Aisha, "Kya hua???"

Aisha narrated her everything that happened inside. After listening to Aisha, Sakshi asked, "What do you thing did they believed you???"

Aisha replied while looking at table, "I don't know"

Aisha looked up at Sakshi who was now confused about what to do next but she knew she has to handle Aisha so she said, "Aisha don't worry...tumne kuch jhoot nahi bola...jo kuch bhi tumne wahan kaha woh sab sach tha...tumne kuch bhi jhoot nahi bola"

Aisha said, "Par woh pura sach bhi toh nahi tha Sakshi..."

Sakshi argued, "But woh jhoot bhi nahi tha"

There was a silence between the duo, after a moment Sakshi said, "Jhoot toh meine Shree se bola hai"

Aisha immediately looked at her shocked & asked, "Matlab"

Flashaback

It has been sometime since Aisha went inside the cabin & Sakshi was pacing restlessly towards the cabin almost every other second & waiting for Ayehsa to come out that's when Shree came to her & asked, "Tum kab wapas aayi aur Aisha kahan hai"

Sakshi replied to him normally, "Hum bas abhi aaye aur Ayesha Sameer ke cabin mein hai"

Shree gave a teasing look to Sakshi, first Sakshi didn't understand him but soon understood replied, "Woh dono andar akele nahi hai Arjun bhi andar hi hai"

Shree gave a sad look to Sakshi & said, "Oh matlab,Woh kabab mein haddi bane hue hai"

Sakshi slightly hit him & said, "Tum na sach mein kabhi nahi sudar sakte"

Shree said with fake anger, "Hawww...aaj tumhe kya hua...roj toh tum bhi humari team mein hoti ho...aaj Aisha ki team mein kaise ho gayi"

Sakshi gave a glare to him & Shree makes faces to her, she ignored him & picks up the file to read, she just started reading or has started pretending to reading while glancing at Sameer's cabin when Shree said, "Chal Sakshi...hum jaake kal raat ki CCTV footages dekhte hai"

Hearing the word CCTV footage Sakshi replied a bit loudly, "NAHI"

Shree looked at her questioningly & asked, "Kya nahi???"

Sakshi remain quiet for some time to think up an excuse, she turned around & said, "Woh...kuch nahi...matlab footages mein kuch nahi hai"

Shree informed, "Nahi yaar...kuch toh hai...warna dono sher itne gusse mein kyu hote???"

Sakshi replied cooking up a fake story, "Woh...woh...meri galti ki wajah se"

Shree asked questioningly, "Matlab???"

Sakshi cooked up a story in few seconds & said, "Woh...woh... last case ki file missing ho gayi thi"

Shree asked shockingly, "Kya???"

Sakshi replied while looking towards Rathod's cabin, "Woh...actually hua yeh tha ki aaj Sameer ko last case ki file chahiye thi but usse woh file usske cabin mein mili nahi...isliye Sameer-Arjun ne footages check kiye the"

Shree asked, "Lekin Rathod sir ke cabin se file kaise gayab ho gayi"

Sakshi replied, "Woh file mere pass thi...actually kal mujhe woh file chahiye thi Article likne ke liye...lekin uss waqt Sameer office mein nahi tha toh meine file uske cabin ke table uttha li...aur phir baad mein Sameer ko batana bhul gayi...isliye gadbad ho gayi"

Shree put his hand on his forehead & said unbelievingly "Tu bhi na Sakshi...teri wajah se aaj meri waat lagne thi..."

Sakshi said with small smile trying to hide her nervousness, "Sorry"

That's when Shree was called by one of his subordinate & he bid bye to Sakshi. Sakshi nodded him with smile & started looking at the closed door of Rathod's cabin praying for Aisha.
