Hi Sadda Haq Forum Members,

Many new Members have joined us on I-F and Sadda Haq Forum.
Welcome everyone

I have noticed that some Members have problems with India Forums.
I want to explain few things about I-F and SH Forum here.
If I have forgot something to explain then please tell me. I will add it.

Sadda Haq Forum has only 1 Moderator and it's the (Channel V) Channel Moderator: .Mandy.

You can always contact Mandy regarding Sadda Haq Forum. She will be more than happy to help you. =]

Coolbie(s): Gunseerat

Coolbies are not allowed to moderate. So you can only contact the coolbie if you need help of something like that.
Coolbies are the Official Written Updater of the forum and our official written updater is *Gunseerat*.😳 Coolbies can only sticky their own Topics / Polls.

Videobie: Dhruvie
Videobie's are Members who posts Episodes Videos Links. Every single Episode is posted.

Step 1: Enlist Nadaan Parindey forum in "My forums"

For this, simply click on the star beside your My forums drop down list.

Now how to to join officially?

*Open the Nadaan Parindey Forum"

*You can see this icon on top of your toolbarNow,this means,you have to officially join the forum,not just comment and like 😳

*Now click on the star,so that it becomes completely golden and looks like this

Step 2: Rate the forum

*Take your cursor towards the stars and Hit on the 5th star,

After rating, it should look like this:

*This you have to do each time you log in into India Forums.Because I dont think,if you keep hitting the chaska meter repeatedly during one log in session only,it will be counted. i .e per log in session-one vote

Step 3: Make the forum Pink!

Keep a look-out for sticky topics. They might contain important announcements, forum activities such as GOTW/DOTW; rules, daily updates, etc.

*Now there are two kinds of topics

-hot topics (with pinkish orange envelope)

-normal topics(with blue envelope as icon) like this

When a thread is opened, it's blue. Such threads are known as normal topics. You need to make those threads pink! A thread becomes pink by either more than 25 comments or more than 250 views. So start commenting on the topics! This counts towards the 'activity' and 'views' section of CM rating.

Step 4: Cast Ranking

Simply click on the names of their Cast. They will take you to their profiles.

Comment on everything and anything you see! Their photos, profiles, articles they are tagged in, video's, interviews, and more! View their profiles and join their fan clubs. Eachmember can do this TWICE a day! Keep in mind, if you are such a member who comments on more than 4 cast members of the show, then you will have to wait for at least 1 hour gap. After commenting on 4 profiles, give a break of an hour and then only it will allow you to comment on more profiles.

Step 5: BUZZ

Buzz is also one of the criteria which is counted while calculating the CM. So everytime an Article comes on TellyBuzz in which the show/forum is tagged, the forum gets 1 buzz points. But with EVERY Comment the buzz points increase! You can get a maximum upto 200 Buzz points!!!

Important regarding Buzz!! For every DISLIKE there is a negative point system so refrain from DISLIKING! And do remember to put the name of your show in the comments. It increases the Buzz points!!

Hello Everyone,

Here are a the rules that need to be followed in the Sadda Haq forum.

Introduce Yourself - Please do not open a new topic for introductions, use the Introduction thread stickied on the first page of the forum.

Forum Archives - Missed an episode? Want a Written/Video Update? There are stickies for the following archives located on the first page.

New Topics - Before posting a New Topic, please check to see if a similar topic has already been posted if so then continue to post in that topic rather than start a new one, otherwise its wasteful and considered spam.

Posting Articles - Like new topics, same counts for articles please be sure it has not been posted before and be sure to post the source of the article. Keep in mind that articles from TELLYCHAKKAR are not allowed and articles posted from that website will be trashed

Polls - Please do not open polls about who looks the hottest, favorite character or jodi, such polls just instigate fights on the forum and comparisons are not allowed.

No CAPS - Please note that posting in all caps is not permitted as its considered shouting

No Update Requests - Please do not post a new topic asking why no update has been posted yet or post your own without permission of the DTs. There are scheduled updaters who volunteer their time to post and its not fair to them if another member posts their own update.

No Advertising - Advertising is STRICTLY AGAINST the IF COC. Do not post links to other forums through posts, signatures and/or video links.

No Personal Attacks/No Bashing - Bashing is NOT allowed, this goes for members, characters, actors, CVs and Dev Team Members. Please refrain from taking personal digs, if you do not agree with another poster then please respond within the IF COC.

Privacy - Do not post personal information about the cast or members of the forum.

No Sexual Content - Sexual Content either in pictures or words is STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED on IF.

Picture Gallery - Please use the picture gallery to post pictures of the cast or screencaps. You can use the main forum to post pictures from special events or a specific scene you would like to discuss .

No Chatting/Spamming - Refrain from chatting and/or spamming. Do not post TFS or emoticons in response to a post, just hit the like button. If DTs find any topic turning into a chit chat thread then we will close the topic.

If you see a topic such as picture gallery where its requested NO COMMENTS be posted, then please respect that and post as many pictures as you can in one post rather than posting one after the other.

Need Help?? - If you need help finding a specific post, update, fan fiction then please use the help desk. If help is asked on the main forum your post will either be moved to Help Desk or closed.

Report Button - Refrain from taking matters into your own hands, use the report button if you see any post you feel is breaking the IF COC. No moral policing!

No Comparisons - Do not compare jodis/actors/chararcters/shows. Comparisons lead to fights and we all want a peaceful forum.

Fan Creations - Have a creation you like to share? Use the Creation gallery to post your creations instead of starting a topic on the main forum. The creations must be your own, if not then please give credit to the makers. Anyone found taking credit for creations that do not belong to them will face a WL increase by the DTs without warning.

MIDs - Keep in mind that you are only allowed one ID. Do not create another ID for voting purposes or to create chaos on the forum. Inform the DTs of your other IDs and they will be deactivated.

TOPIC LIMIT - Please do not open more than 3 topics per day, anymore than that is considered spamming

ACTOR CHARACTER TOPICS - With the permission of the DTs you will be allowed to open appreciation threads for characters and/or jodis but hate topics are NOT allowed.

Contests~

If you want to open any Contests in the Forum then you have to inform the DT/Mod about it.

Birthday Threads~
If you want to open any birthday thread for any Member to surprise them then you can.
But if you want to do something special for any actor of this show then you need to take permission from DT/Mod.

MOTW - Member Of The Week~

It's a Thread where Members are chosed (for being them most active member) from the Member who opens the MOTW's.
Every Member of the week has a name replacing the *Member*.
Our MOTW's name is: Farzi Engineer Of The Week.
At the beginning of the MOTW, members can choose a name and can vote for it. Our Forum Members have chosed *Farzi Engineer*.
Everyone can come in the Thread and can ask many questions to the Farzi Engineer of the week. And the Member has to answer all of them. (But if the member doesn't want to answer then it's ok too.)
There is a Signature Picture posted only for the Farzi Engineer. The Member can use it in their Siggiebox for only 1 week.
The Member of the week is posted weekly and is seen as sticky on the first page of the forum.
I have noticed that Members are starting chatting in the MOTW Threads. It's not a Chat Club! You can chat there but not all the time.!

GOTW - Game Of The Week~
Game Of The Week is a Game Thread posted weekly by Members. Only Members who have participated can open any GOTW's. You can search for any Game to post in the forum that members can play the games and have a great time together.
The Games can be from other Forums but if you copy them then you have to give credit.
It's posted every Sundays. You can find the GOTW's sticky on first page!
You can pm .Mandy. or -Naz.Karam- the link to make it sticky.

DOTW - Discussion Of The Week~

It's difficult to explain but I will try. Discussion Of The Week is discussions going on in the show. You need to think of a title which topic/discussion you want to take. You have to take only 1 Discussion where people can discuss it. If you take more, then it will be difficult for Members to understand.
After you have choosen Title and Topic then you need to write a Text where you explain the situation. Then you need to ask questions like : *Will Randhir be able to stop the marriage?* You need to ask 3 questions then people can discuss about it.
Please don't include personal life's of actors. It's only about the show.!
Chatting is not allowed. You can only discuss the Topic there.

GOTW / DOTW Sign Up Sheets~
Game Of The Week and Discussion Of The Week Sign Up Sheet is posted every month and it's sticky on first page till it's Complete. Members can participate only 1 time for 1 month. If you have participate then you need to know which date and which one (GOTW or DOTW).
You will get a reminder *pm*. You can open it on Sundays.

Important Topics like Contest, Written Updates, Video Updates, MOTW, GOTW, DOTW, etc.. is sticky on first page of the forum.

All other Important Topics which are Closed or not sticky are posted here:

Help Desk~
Help Desk is used for any questions related to Sadda Haq Show / Forum.
All Members can ask and everyone can answer.

Written and Video Updates~

Have you missed any Episode and want to watch it? Then you can find video links posted from our lovely Videobie : Dhruvie. If you are not able to watch and still want to know what happened then just check the forum first page for the written updates written by our lovely written updaters!
All Written Updates are posted from Member who have volunteered to do updates for the forum.
Others are not allowed to post any Written Updates and Video Updates!
We have Written Updaters who are Updating regularly. If it's posted then it will be sticky in the forum.

Picture Gallery~

Picture Galleries are Threads where Members can post new pictures related to Sadda Haq only.
COMMENTS ARE STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED! You can pm or scrap people to thanks or simply like their postst if you want to thank you them. If the picture is posted before then there is no need to post it again. I saw many people commenting and requesting people to post pictures. As I said it's not allowed to comment. You can request people in Help Desk.
Help Desk is sticky in the forum as Important Topics.

Creations Gallery~
Creations Galleries are Thread where Members can posts their Creations there.
If you find Creations posted somewhere else then please take permission before posting.
Chatting and Spamming is not allowed there!

FF's , SS's , OS's~

FF's are Fan Fictions. Members can write their own story and post it here. Every FF which reached 15 Pages it will be shifted to Fan Fictions Forum to make the forum clean.

SS's are Short Stories which can go few chapters only.

OS's are One Shot. It is only for 1 part. There is no chapter etc..
18+ Stories are strictly not allowed!

Please make sure that your Stories are added in the list!

AT's are Appreciation Thread on Actors/Characters/Couples.
Discussions only related to the Actors which AT's are opened for!
No Spamming! No Bashing!
You are allowed to chat but not too much. Only few chats are allowed.
Spamming with Pictures, Texts, Emoticons are not allowed!

Chat Club~

Chat Clubs are Threads where members can chat to their friends related to Sadda Haq.
Our Chat Club is : Chat Adda

How To Upload and Post Pictures on I-F~

Many members of IF are having this problem that they don't know how to upload/post images in a post. This is a simple tutorial.

How to upload pictures on IF itself

There is sometimes an Upload Image button. This button sometimes appears and sometimes doesn't, but when it does, then this is how to upload it.

Make sure that your picture is less than 150 kilobytes in size.

Click on the Upload Image button

When the window comes up, then click on Browse and go to the folder where you have your file stored on your computer. Double click on your chosen picture, and then click on the OK button.

Wait until the picture is uploaded to the server.

That's it! Your picture will now be in the post.

Uploading pictures of more than 150 kB

If you want to upload pictures of a larger file size or simply because you can't see the Upload Image button, then follow these steps.

Go to www.imageshack.us

On the right hand side you will see the Browse button. Click on Browse and go to the place where your file is stored.

Double click on your chosen file.

Click the host it button.

Now your picture will be uploaded to the ImageShack servers. To make it come into your post on IF, use the following steps:

When the image is fully uploaded, then you will see a Thumbnail for Websites, Thumbnail for Forums (1), Thumbnail for Forums (2), Hotlink for Forums (1), Hotlink for Forums (2), Hotlink to websites, Show image, Direct link to Image.

Choose any one of these except for Thumbnail for Websites or Hotlink for Websites as these will not work on IF.
