Tulip Joshi: Family is more important to me than career

Bollywood actress Tulip Joshi of Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai' fame, who will soon be seen playing the role of an inspirational and ambitious young Flight Officer Ananya Rawat in Star Plus' new show Airlines', contradicts her screen image in real life. The actress picks family over her career.

"In real life my house and family is very important to me. Family is everything to me and I give more importance to relationships. I also believe that it is not fair to compare career and relationship. If people who are close to me don't understand my aspirations then it is not worth it, it's of no use. Why should there be a choice? Like you can't ask a mother who she loves the most out of her children likewise there shouldn't be a comparison or choice between career and family," said Tulip.

The actress hopes that her show will bring a change in the mindset of people especially the mothers, "I hope that mothers will understand that despite being part of any glamorous industry, their daughters can stick to her values. Daughters can balance personal and professional life. Like I do one project in a year so that I can spend time with my family," concludes Tulip.
