Sorry guys for keeping you waiting and especially to my dear friend, Vini. But this college stress is eating me up! Anyways, thank you so much for such lovely replies. It feels so good to know that you all like the storyline and the developing relation b/w AnYa. Here is the next update. (Last time you guys liked the childhood scene of AnYa so I decided to conclude another childhood scene. Hope you guys like it😊)

Chapter 9
A man, in a costume of courier service was hiding behind the bushes. He was keeping a close watch on the mansion and looked keenly as Anant sat inside his car and drove off, while the guards close the gates. He came out of the bushes and went in front of the gate. On being asked from where the parcel came, the man only told that it is at the name of Anant and he needs his signature. The guards told him that he is not in his house so he replied that it is being sent in urgency and anyone else from the house can also sign so the guards agreed and let him in.
Navya heard a knock at the door. She thought how Anant come so quickly but then she went and opened the door to find a parcel guy hiding his face partially from a cap standing infront of him. He looked up a bit to see her face and then quickly checked a photograph which he was hiding in his pant pocket to confirm if it is the same person.
"Ma'am, parcel for Anant Sir" Said the man as he extended the brown packet towards her.
"Parcel?" Asked Navya wondering and took it from him. She started scanning it from outside by feeling its weight and length. Just then in a spun of second, the man came behind Navya, grabbing her wrist harshly and pinning it on her back. The guards came running to witness such a shocking scene while the servants too came just then he pointed a gun at her head and gesturing everyone to keep distance from him or he will shoot her on the spot.
"Anant.." Navya cried in fear.
The bucket full of Almond chocolate ice-cream fell from Anant's hand in the ice-cream parlor.
"Navya" He whispered as it seemed like he heard her call. Without wasting a minute, he ran out of the parlor, sat on his car and drove back to home.
"Stay away people or I am going to kill her right away" Smirked the guy. He started making his way out of those guards and servants while they stood their helpless. Navya was fidgeting with the hold. As they reached midway of the garden, the man felt a sharp kick on his hand from the back, making the gun fall few inches away. Before he could turn back fully, he got a hard kick on his face and in the next second he was on the ground. He looked up to find Anant standing in front of him while holding Navya's hand possessively. The man could see blood shot angry eyes of him. Anant held him up from his collar and started beating him up in black and blue. Immediately the guards came and held the man.
"Don't let him die until he doesn't confess for whom he is working" Ordered Anant while wiping away the blood from the corner of his lips as the man too punched him in between the fight. The guards took the man away.
Navya was trying to stay calm but she was shivering due to the incident which happened few seconds before. How the man kept her at gunpoint, how Anant beats him mercilessly and not to forget his eyes filled with rage. She has seen those angry eyes for the second time before she has seen it in the first day when Anant was dragging her on the roads. But this time this anger was not on her but it was for her. His eyes showed both the emotion of anger and feeling of losing her. She couldn't take it any longer and fainted right there. Anant quickly took her in his arms and proceed to his room. He kept her delicately on the bed while she held his hand.
"Please don't go..please" She mumbled.
Anant sighed and sat there. He started caressing her head lovingly. He thought that she is again remembering her father in her faint state but what he heard next was like a sweet' surprise for him.
"Anant, please don't leave me..don't leave me" she mumbled again.
She took her name in her unconscious state for the first time. "She needs me" was the only thought going inside Anant's mind. He kisses on her forehead tenderly without a second thought and got up from the bed. Navya's expression relaxes a bit as she leaves his hand.
He went towards his cupboard and took out fresh pair of clothes for him as those he was wearing were all mud stuck and blood stained now. Just then a photograph fell down as he closes the cupboard. He kept the clothes aside and lifted the photograph. It was an old photograph of his and Navya's which made him went back to the childhood memories again.

"Navya, What happened?" Came a running Anant as he saw little Navya sitting on the ground and howling loudly. He too sat along with her and started patting her back vigorously to stop her cries.
"Tell me na, did anyone said something to you?" Asked Anant panicked.
Navya sobbed and pointed towards her right side of hair. Her left pony tail was fine but the right one was loosely open.
"Ohh, so someone opened your hair?" Asked Anant getting her point.
"Haan, vo Payal tohut dandi hai" said Navya between her sobs. ( Haan, vo Payal bohut gandi hai)
"Hmm, indeed she is a bad girl, next time we will open both the ponytails of hers, okay?" Said Anant while he wipes her tears.
"Haan, aur phir usto pura dunji tar denge😆."(Haan, aur phir usko pura gunji kar denge) Said Navya while flaring her nostrils angrily. Anant tried to suppress his laughter hearing her "so called devilish" plan.
"Okk pakka, come on now get up, let's sit on the bench where I will tie your right side's pony tail" said Anant as he got up and stepped forward to go but found Navya still sitting.
"Ab kya hua?" He asked confused.
"Dodi lo"(Godi lo) said Navya as she raised her hands up in the air.
Anant nodded his head with a smile and picked her up. He made her sit on the bench while he sat infront of him. He took one rubber band out from his pencil box and tightened it between his teeth while he smoothens her hair like a comb with his fingers. He holds a bunch of her hair and started tying it while Navya clapped in happiness and pulled his cheek.
Deepak who just entered inside the school gate to take these kids home, saw this lovely scene infront of him. He couldn't help but took the camera out which he was taking to the shop for development of photographs and clicked the pic at the right moment. " Anant tying Navya's hair while she is pulling his cheek."

Anant smiled as he caressed the photograph with his hand. He had small tears in his eyes as he had a lovely childhood with Navya. This picture was later given by Deepak to Anant which he had kept with himself till now as it was really close to his heart.
He looked at Navya who is having a small smile on her lips now.
"Tum tab bhi vaisi hi thi aur ab bhi vaisi hi ho, pagal ladki" Said Anant to himself and went inside the washroom.
