Chapter Two
"Sharon! My koochi-poo!" Kria pounced upon a peacefully sandwich-eating Sharon.
Sharon got up, horrified.
"Ohh God Kria! Are you out of your mind! Darr gayi thi main!" She yelled, as she registered that it was just Kria.
"Offo Shar! Kitni darpok hai tu!" Kria giggled and sat opposite to her on the bed.
Finishing the last bite, Sharon looked up.
"Bolo. What's the news?"
A gasp of surprise left Kria'a mouth.
"How did you know that I was here to discuss him?"
"It's written all-over your face! Ab chalo, bolo..."
And Kria recited the complete incident of getting both of Rey's messages when she was near the Boys' Hostel.
"Hmm. Seems ke banda kaafi decent hai! Nahi?" Sharon said thoughtfully.
"Haan. Maybe. But how does it matter? I've just got to pass my time for two years - till our farewell party. And then - WHAM ! The jealousy factor will do wonders and Amish will come running to me!" Kria said dreamily.
Sharon chuckled at her bestie's kiddish talks and got up
"Achha Kria, I've got to make a phone call. Main tumse baad mein discussion karti hun. Okay?"
"Yeaa, fine. But, kise?"
Kria too got up.
"Ohh! Mom ko yaar! She's been messaging me and eating my head since yesterday that something important is to be discussed and I must call her whenever I'm free." Sharon spoke as she dialled the number.
Kria simply nodded and plugging in earphones into her cell, hopped onto her own bed.

*WHACK*
She opened her eyes, startled. At once she cursed herself, acknowledging that she'd slept.
But, what was the noise that wake her up?
She sat up and looked about the room. Everything was in its place. It was 4 of evening and Sharon was missing.
Getting up, she explored a bit more. On reaching the window of her room, she realized that something had broken through its pane. And seeing the glass crystals scattered on the floor, she understood that something must have come in
Without hunting much, she noticed a piece of rock, wrapped in paper, lying near Sharon's bed.
Picking it up, she unwrapped the paper. As expected, it was a letter. It read-
Sharon Ji,
Jabse aapko dekha hai, bass aapke hi baare mein sochta hoon. Din bhar aapka chehra aankhon ke aage se nahi jaata, aur raaton ko aap khayalon mein aate ho.
Mujhe lagta hai, mujhe aapse Pyaar Ho Gaya Hai ji.

As soon as she finished reading it, Kria broke into fits of laughter.
"Ohh God! Sharon ka lover!" She yelled as she fell on the bed, laughing. "Gosh! She needs to know this!"

Kria had just reached the gate of the canteen when,
"Tension mat lo, please. Am sure nothing would happen. We'll deal with it..."
She could recognise the voice even when in deep slumber ! She became badly panicky as she registered Amish's presence in the canteen.
Taking a deep breath, she kept her foot across the threshold. But before she could fully enter the place, she heard another voice.
"Tum mom ko nahi jante ho Amish. I won't be able to manage any hell of thing !!"
Kria felt as if the sky had come crashing down over her. She felt as if her world had been turned upside-down.
It was Sharon's voice.
In an instant Kria turned and hid near the window of the canteen. Peeping in, she saw Amish sitting on a couch with Sharon cuddled into his embrace. She was sobbing and he was comforting her.
Kria couldn't comtemplate what was to be done. She looked at her hand that held the letter she had brought to show Sharon. Crushing it tightly in her fists, she wiped the threads of tears that had rolled down her face.
Gritting her teeth tightly, she turned around in a swift motion, and collided into someone. Looking up, she found a tall, lanky guy with long hair standing with a handkerchief held out for her.
She looked at him in confusion. He smiled.
"Maskara kharab ho raha hai aapka. Use this..." He forwarded the piece of cloth.
Something struck her, and instantly she narrowed her eyes at him.
"Suresh ?"
He burst out laughing.
"Can we sit and talk?"
She took a step backwards.
"Why? You are just a stranger..."
He smiled again.
"And people like Sharon are your friends? Or I must say she was your friend..."
This time all she could manage to do was run with as much pace, as her legs could carry...

So... This was supposed to be a Happy Friendship Day gift... But... 😔

Firstly, am sorry for the delay. 😔 I had typed it long back, but failed to post. But I have the next part ready as well and Ill post it asap. ^_^
